I'm going to spare most of the details and keep this really short, but I'd appreciate the advice.

I recently broke up with a girlfriend, and she still had some things that belonged to me. I'm not too sure of what all she had, but I know it included my favorite sweatshirt and a couple of my DS games.

Fast-forward to yesterday, and the house she was staying at burned down. Included in everything that burned was the box of my stuff.

I'm just wondering what you guys would suggest that I do about this? I had been trying to contact her for a while to get my things, but she always went the immature way and either answered and hung up right away or just wouldn't return my calls. I kind of feel bad that this happened to her, but she never wanted to take responsibility for anything, and doesn't seem to care that my stuff is now gone. The reason I don't want to just drop it and forget her and everything else is because I sort of have a feeling she might have tried to burn my stuff and it got out of control, because she's kind of stupid like that.

Anyway, I know now to not let girls take my stuff with them at least. Thoughts?

That's pretty amazing, but I mean dude, you have to let this go. If she wouldn't even take your phone calls before, how's she going to react to "hey where's my stuff" now? I looooooooove stealing my boyfriend's clothes. I steal that and some of his like...spray body shit and then spray the clothes and it's like you get a little bit of him all the time. This is especially nice for long distance relationships. :3 I don't steal his boxers though, I just love him sweatshirt/hoodie things. He is a lot bigger than me though so I can't ever wear it out...but it's nice to snuggle up in.

As for your situation, just buy new clothes and new/better games and save yourself the hassle of listening to your ex whine and bitch at you over them.
