Aura Steal at Level 5

Any THFs out there put their 'new' merit points into capping this at 4/5 for 100% absorb rate?

I've been curious to add these in for soloing and buffing on random HNMs. But if the absorb rate isn't actually 100% I'll probably save for a 5min recast Ass.Charge.

Also, note a differance between the absorb rates between level 4, and level 5?

Perhaps I'm being naive, but what makes you think level 4 would be 100% Steal Rate in the first place? It's 20% for every merit upgrade, from everything I've read, and I've never seen any mention of the initial merit giving a 40% absorb rate.

4/5 should be 80%, 5/5 should be 100%.

Level 4 is not 100%. Each merit adds 20% to it, at level 1 it is 20%, not 40%. Level 4 Aura Steal would be 80%, as Wizerd said.

So I'd assume you'd notice a difference between level 4 and 5, since you are going from 80% to 100%. Though personally I haven't merited it at all.
