Seems that any secured connection is being blocked. One of our members has tried, and we have determined they are blocking pretty everything but port 80.

~20 minutes south of Seattle, WA. Comcast blows. Nothing but problems with that damn company.

Got home from work and was shown as being booted off server, got -almost- logged into POL then it was like "POL ERROR 1160 - Comast hates it's customers. Please stand by while we jerk off then get around to fixing your MMOs lawl."

I've had issues as well. At least twice to three times a week, sometimes more over the last month or so my Internet has gone down for sometimes 45min-1hr at a time.

Okay so I pinged the main POL Server that Syncs up POL with the Content Service.
202.67.56.55

Through Comcast I get 100% packet loss.
Though an alternative source such as http://ping.eu/ I get 100% contact.
I get 100% contact through other ISPs as well. Comcast and comcast alone is the problem.

kinda weird though seeing so many people saying "fuck comcast" "comcast sucks", makes you wonder if so many feel these sentiments, why don't they change their service provider? (yeah i know some people can't, but for the other 99%).

it does suck that they're having service issues, and customer service anywhere sucks, but cut them some slack... your internet works fine... what 360/365 days of the year? and somehow they're THE WORST EVER OMGZ... if they're worse than that, they simple solution... cancel your service and goto verizon, or whatever you feel is better. but please, the bandwagon cannot hold anymore people.

I cant wait to switch from Comcast, but FIOS isnt here yet in my area of NJ and until it is its much more expensive to have internet from verizon, and cable from comcast, and verizons tv offerings here without fios consist of a satellite dish wish is banned in my apartment complex.

She bitches about it too. We were going to switch to Qwest... And I think the reason we stayed was because Comcast was like 'zomg don't leave!!11 here have this major discount and free DVR and stay with ussss'

So we put up with it.
