    Verizon DSL with wireless router?

I used to have Time Warner cable modem and never had any problems using my Wireless G router for hardwiring and wireless.

Now I have Verizon DSL and it's not working. What am I missing?

Got it. Apparently I had to change the IP address of the router to 192.168.2.1 instead of 192.168.1.1 and then reset both the modem and the router.

if verizon uses pppoe like at&t does, you can also bridge your modem and use the router to make the pppoe connection.... what type of modem do you have? i can possibly help you do that (did verizon make you sign up with a username/password?)

Yes, Verizon is PPPoE, no they don't force you to assign a password. The default for their router (at least when I had it) was admin/admin and I was able to put it into bridged mode rather easily. Had tons of drops with their router, put a WRT54G on it and all was well.
