Just heard my boss talking about this. Her mom called to tell her. Condolences to the family. =(
When I randomly saw this guy's picture on a TV just now, I thought that Jimmy James had died. What a relief.
I am truly sad at the news of his death. I loved watching his show every Sunday because he would take to task politicians in Washington. I just wish we had more journalist like Tim who ask the tough questions with out being biased toward one political party.![]()
Yeah, this sucks to hear about. I enjoyed watching Meet The Press as well, but I didn't do it weekly, just whenever I found nothing else on.Originally Posted by freemason

Wow, what the hell happened?
Huge shock, and really sad moment.
Heart attack while working, doing voice overs for Sundays program.![]()

I think regardless of how far right or how far left you are in your political ideology, you have to have respect for Tim Russert. He was one of the truly unbiased interviewers who you could always count on to ask the tough question to whomever he was interviewing. This is an incredible loss.
Only the good die (relatively) young...wish the title of this thread was "Carl Icahn 19XX-2008."
One of the last, great journalists.
It's truly a shame.
Obligatory "Maybe this election will have fair coverage on MSNBC now" comment.
Oh wai--- wrong board.
I did like him as one of the more palatable journalists.
Damn, i love listening to Russert. In an odd coincidence I was watching broadcasts of Meet the press online right now. I saw this topic, refreshed the meet the press page I was using for the links to each telecast and theres a new headline
I love how he asks hard questions and presses for answers.
Noooo...
Way too early. Will suck not being able to watch him anymore
Seeing Keith Olbermann host the special program on Russert's death made me tear up a little. It was obvious that he was loved by those who worked with him and were close to him.
semi offtopic, but any source to the video of him dieing on tv?

For one, that's pretty sick that you'd want to see that. For two, he wasn't on tv at the time.Originally Posted by Kiyuan98
