God that game is pissing me off... it's so repetitive it's almost become unbearable for me... I'm stuck somewhere around say 75 or something? And it's not that i'm literally stuck, but rather I have no will to keep playing it for anything other than story purposes at this point.

As for Star Ocean 4, I pretty much hated the final dungeon and what they did with the story from the final dungeon all the way to the end of the game... The game pretty much goes to shit after the alternate Earth level, much like SO3's story did when they did that terrible plot-twist with the characters jumping out of the screen... still never finished that game.. >.>
I actually never beat SO4 either, the final boss gave me a pretty hard time even though I didn't have trouble with any enemy throughout the entire game... I just gave up at some point and watched the ending on youtube.

Been playing the Saboteur, its a decent game, but riddled with technical problems just like all of pandemics previous games. The gun play isnt all that fluid but the sniper rifle is fun.

So you mean not bad at all except for like 10min worth of cutscenes?
The only part that was bad was the first town after you make it to the 4D Universe.

The writers were such a fucking cocktease with regards to hinting at Phoenix Wright only around 4 times in the entire game, and not once called him by name, and he only makes a single appearance as a static pixel-art object in the background with Maya and Pearl in one of the optional areas you can travel to in act 3.

At least they had a few new characters this time around rather than relying on so many damn cameos like Ace Apollo did.

I enjoyed it otherwise, although it just didn't feel anymore remotely near as epic as Trials & Tribulations did. Game was overall easier also due to the fact investigation scenes were literally tied to just one scene at a time, making it a joke to ensure you found all there was to see and continue the story, rather than getting lost like in the previous AA titles testing every piece of evidence you got with all the NPCs in all the various areas as you try to trigger a new response to move along.

Case five also just dragged on way too long for the last half, god damn......

Went on a ROM spree last night, so I'm going to start going through a plethora of GBA RPGs I never played. Thinking of starting with Summon Night or Tales of Phantasia.

I am not quite sure where to ask this question so i'll try it here. I'm looking for some solid psp rpgs, psp because i'm at school and have no tv to use a ps3 on, and the only one i have is star ocean: first departure. I was immensely disappointed with it and i've heard the second one is much better. Is that true? Also are there any other rpgs that would be recommended; to be specific i'm looking for good turn based rpgs kind of like the classic FF games, but i wouldn't mind other types of rpgs as well if they're enjoyable.

I have ff7 and ff8 from psn, and the fft remake already.
