I was going to say, lol The battle can't be all that fun on the GBA and that's like 90% of any Tales game for me.

Currently have too many games on the go right now, as my back pile of games has been growing. Recently, I just finished with Prototype and was very underwhelmed with it's shitty platforming and controls after having played Infamous, but it wasn't too bad.

Just started Bioshock 2 also, and have been enjoying it.

Other PS3 games I'm in the middle of and need to finish: MAG, Red Alert 3, and I'm coming up to my 4th play through on Demon's Souls.

Dragon Age Origins, MLB 09: The Show, Farcry 2, FUEL and a few others sitting here unopened.

On Xbox 360, still mostly Forza 3, and Lost Odyssey.

Eh, being on GBA isn't what keeps it from being fun.
Tales of the World: ND2 and 3 definitely prove that... the ToP port is just horrid though.

Only problem for TotW games was it went back to the whole FREEZE FRAME for spells that ToP and ToD had and the hi-ougis were not so great much of the time because the enemies don't stagger properly during them. (and your characters will walk right through them instead of pushing them back)

The main problem with the GBA version, besides the fact that it's a downgraded port from the original:

Well, to be fair... you're not supposed to have any clue what's going on when you start the game (that's the intro as it says in the title of the video)

But the voice acting and translation leave much to be desired. The combat feels downgraded from the PS1 version as well.
Minor upgrade (technically) to the SNES version yet somehow it still feels off when you compare the two.

If I were going to suggest playing Tales of Phantasia to someone I would no doubt recommend the PS1 version first, SNES second and GBA as a last-resort.
Then again, I might not suggest the GBA version at all.

[Actually, I'd suggest the PSP version first if the person knows Japanese]

Beat ME2 for the 4th time, beat Fatal Frame 4 (10.5 hours, fantastic game), beat Cursed Mountain (around 8 hours, better than the reviews would have you believe).

Not much time before Heavy Rain on tuesday so I guess I"ll try to wrap up Silent Hill Origins, or maybe work on Muramasa/de Blob. The Endless Ocean sequel is coming out this week too, so maybe I'll fire up #1 to see what all the fuss is about. Definitely on a Wii kick lately, so I've been thinking about playing Little King's Story since I hear it's like the best thing ever, same with Zack & Wiki. I've zipped through like 9 or 10 wii games since I modded mine, but having 50 on a hard drive makes it tough to pick one to play!

Also been working on my ME1 insanity playthrough, finally. ME1 is short as hell if you skip everything but story missions with a level 60 character, lol.

Just got White Knight Chronicles so far so good. Recently beat ME 2 and ME 1. Trying to get back into FFXI it is difficult cause I haven't played on a regular basis for months.

ok I'm almost sorry that Heavy Rain is coming out tomorrow, because Little King's Story is fucking amazing.

Finished Point Lookout in Fallout 3, probably my fav DLC so far of the 3 I've completed. Just wish it was longer and had more of the areas involved. Felt like a wasted opportunity with all the unique looking locations to mess about.

Just got Mothership Zeta and The Pitt left over to do for my DLC trophies, but I'm taking a break now to play some Mass Effect 2 since Bioware finally issued a patch.

Imported my 41 Shepard, and rolled as an Infiltrator, which seems to fit my sniper-style of play well. Game feels a little too streamlined for my tastes though compared to ME1. I liked leveling my squad mates skills up, but that appears to be out with in this release.

[EDIT] Nevermind, seems I can still do my squad's skills, just didn't realize that was locked off for the beginning portion of the game.

I'm debating between buying Ace Attorney Investigations or wait until Lunar: Silver Star Harmony comes out for the PSP.

Finished my first playthrough of Bioshock 2. I managed to get all of the single player trophies except for the difficulty ones and a secret one near the beginning of the game. I'll try the multiplayer this weekend maybe.

For now I started up Mass Effect. I'm just playing through it to get a feel for it. I'll probably go through it a couple times before I build a character to move to ME2.

Finally getting bored with Brawl. Unlocked all stages and characters, so now it's just a matter of chipping away at the challenges. Doubt I'll ever finish them, even with the gold hammers. Maybe if I could do it all with Marth instead of being forced to use all the characters.

Popped Persona 4 back in and found it hard to get back into. The characters aren't as memorable as I remembered. Like, I finished Yosuke's S-Link and it was just
    Spoiler: show
huh huh we're men, let's fight for no reason huh
It was a moment that would have fit Junpei better than Yosuke, I really didn't see the tension they were trying to imply. But on the bright side, the battles were more fun than I remembered, so I guess that works out?

I've been meaning to replay Xenogears for like two years now, I keep putting it off because of the time commitment, but I might be ready to take the plunge. It's so much better the second time around when you can catch all the little references since you know the plot.

Finally finished all my DLC trophies for Fallout 3. Never touching that broken piece of shit again. DLC was 3x as freeze-prone as the base game. That was a long 67 hours. -.-

Currently working away at 100%'ing my Katamari Forever collection. Rolling up Cowbear is currently pissing the utter shit out of me with the 200 some traps laid around the level.
