so this is what i bought last week,

bioshock, bioshock 2, dragon age: origin, assassin's creed 2 and heavy rain.

played bioshock 1 for a bit, creepy game. disturbing, and i wasnt in the mood.
so i put in heavy rain...and im hooked.

i feel like doing a final fantasy marathon too; starting from 7.
i'll finish up with heavy rain before i do that though.

oh and i havent even touched my Modern Warefare 2 yet...jee, i feel guilty for its greatness.

Playing Tales of Graces on Hard. I'm really enjoying the battle/skills system. The combos in this game are really satisfying(visually) for some reason. Also, I'm addicted to side-stepping!!

Finally getting bored with Brawl. Unlocked all stages and characters, so now it's just a matter of chipping away at the challenges. Doubt I'll ever finish them, even with the gold hammers. Maybe if I could do it all with Marth instead of being forced to use all the characters.

Popped Persona 4 back in and found it hard to get back into. The characters aren't as memorable as I remembered. Like, I finished Yosuke's S-Link and it was just

It was a moment that would have fit Junpei better than Yosuke, I really didn't see the tension they were trying to imply. But on the bright side, the battles were more fun than I remembered, so I guess that works out?

I've been meaning to replay Xenogears for like two years now, I keep putting it off because of the time commitment, but I might be ready to take the plunge. It's so much better the second time around when you can catch all the little references since you know the plot.

If it's not, I might pick it up, not like I play Tales games for their fantastic plot and wonderful characterization anyway, and it doesn't look like Graces is going to be localized. Namco's track record as of late has been awful, you bring us Tempest but not Hearts or Innocence? You bring us Symphonia 2 but not Graces? It's like they're intentionally choosing the worst games for each system.

Picked up Red Faction for the PS3 for $19 (got to love my local Wal-Mart's bargain bin, got a lot a of decent titles from it for dirt-cheap...), will be playing it tonight. I played the demo for it a long while ago and it didn't leave that great of taste in my mouth, but I'm hoping the full title will be better since demos for sandbox games are usually very limiting.

It's region-locked, but you can easily get by that with the Homebrew Channel.

But yeah, Graces is seriously awesome. This is my first Team Destiny game so that may be why, but I love the speed of battles and their Burst Calibur animations.

Ace Attorney: Miles Edgeworth Investigations (DS) ~ I'm on the 3rd mission at the moment and despite no courtroom scenes so far, the game is just as great as its predecessors. Love all the sprites/animations! <3

Final Fantasy Dissidia (PSP) ~ Still playing this and it's still as fun as ever to just load up and play for a while. I love my Lv100 Kuja, gaying it up in Duel Colosseum is great!

oh yeah I forgot about that. hopefully that actually means something, we'll see. I'll definitely pick up Graces if it makes its way stateside. I haven't done homebrew yet though, but if I get around to it I might get a copy anyway.

now that you post that screenshot, I'm looking at picross 3D. sounds like the perfect game to waste time on the bus, I'll probably pick that up too.

and yeah, Team Destiny is right on when it comes to battle systems.

Tried the Eye of Judgment demo for the PSP, not that fun since I suck at card games.

Can't be worse than the PS3 version where you had to buy the physical cards, which are nigh impossible to find these days. (and just printing them out kills the game's difficulty since you can just create the ultimate deck with all the broken cards)

Anyhow, I've been enjoying Red Faction Guerilla a lot, more than GTA4. I take every opportunity possible to ram my vehicle at full speed into marked enemy buildings. Shit is so cash when I fly through it and watch it slowly topple under its own weight. I just wish the devs added some diversity to how Mars looked, as it's a bit bland looking.

finished my umteenth ME1 playthough on Insanity, so finally 1200/1200 for that. Also did the RE5 and AC2 DLC.

Took a break from Little King's Story to beat Heavy Rain, now plunking more time into Borderlands to do the new DLC and probably go back for Underdome now that I'm leveled enough to do it solo lol.

Also decided to spend $19.99 on Deadly Premonition for 360, which is supposed to be pretty entertaining if you understand the point of it. IGN gave it a 2/10, lol. Then I guess it's back to Little King's Story, if FF13 isn't out.

Going for Lymle-100 probably tomorrow, and I'll probably quit soon cause all I'll have left is BT grinding.

At least I went through the game pretty fast, and just crammed as many tri-emblems into my equipment as I could, and duplicated it all. Laser weapons and armor ftw.
