Even though I 100% completing this game years ago, I decided to play it again just because it's one of the few SE games that I really enjoyed the most, and I had alot of fun with it.
The World Ends With You.
That's one game I'll never get rid of.

I thought you played Muramasa already? either way I highly recommend it as the next game on your plate. if you can get past the mediocre localization, repetitive backgrounds and bare-bones storytelling, it's so good.
I'm still "playing" FFXIII, but farming turtles is more like a job at this point. I don't mind too much though, using Vanille/Fang/Hope, start by buffing, switch to Attrition paradigm and just spam the x button until it dies or I have to rebuff. easy game to play while watching TV. soon I'll be strong enough to kill them with Highwind but that'll mean paying attention, d'oh.
actually I should switch to the Taejin's Tower mission, but I want three traps before I do that so I can upgrade my main party... which I haven't decided on yet.
might pick up a fighting game. I'm trying so hard to wait for SSFIV but maybe I'll pick up Blazblue to hold me over. or I could just keep playing MvC2, but fuck that game's AI. easy mode is hard mode, normal mode is bitch mode, and hard mode is insane, it's clearly designed for hardcore players, which I'm not.
edit: ok I bought Blazblue even though SSFIV is coming out in a week and even though Blazblue 2 is coming out in June. it was $20, fuck it. put $5 on SSFIV too of course.
I really wish they'd make a sequel or a game with the same battle system as TWEWY. Only complaint I had about the game was some pins couldn't evolve without Mingle PP.
Anyway, beat Vile's playthrough in Maverick Hunter X awhile ago. I don't know if I just suck with X, but I still can't believe I beat Vile's game in one sitdown with no sub tanks and just 1 life upgrade whereas I needed everything for X's game. Vile's ending was somewhat disturbing though....
Day of E movie was a pretty neat bonus to. Sucks they didn't go further back and show the events that lead to Sigma becoming a Maverick.
Finally bought Mass Effect2 and Final Fantasy 13, kinda annoyed with 13 so far. It's just way to linear in the beginning, is there a point where you get a little more choice?
Finished up infamous, finally. overall, pretty solid game. I felt the last couple missions were a bit of a let down though; the earlier bridge sequences were more intense. now way in hell I'm gonna track down the shards I missed though; glad I'm not a trophy whore.
I've been playing a little sc2 beta here and there. I should try to play more so maybe I can stop sucking at it.
might pick up something off PSN... maybe ff8 or grandia. never finished 8 (didn't like the draw system, but maybe I can give it another shot), never played grandia.
Grandia's battle system is far better. and this is coming from someone who has played FFVIII through multiple times.
Only complaints I had about Grandia were how you learned magic and the parts where you were forced to go through dialogue during dinner/camping phases.
Other than that both games are pretty fun, Grandia is a bigger challenge though.
Splinter Cell: Conviction, Deadly Premonition, Mass Effect 2
I seriously can't get motivated to do a bunch of tedious stuff for trophies.
RPGs are the worst when it comes to trophies, like, Tales of Vesperia. Completing the Monster and Collector's book is a bitch. Games like RE5, CoD MW2 and stuff like that aren't so bad.
Beat Boy and His Blob, actually turned into a pretty good game. They stop spoon feeding you the answers to puzzles so a bunch of them are just difficult enough to be satisfying and make you feel clever, although boss fights are horribly frustrating due to the Boy only being able to take 1 hit before dying.
Then I decided to just "try out" Dawn of Discovery for Wii, since LKS got me in the mood for a sim game, and HOLY FUCK THIS GAME RULES. Very light on combat and very heavy on resource management, with the overly complex parts of Civilization toned down for consoles. Really, really addictive. About to wrap up story mode and I might try my hand at a free play board or something.
Also got Fatal Frame 3 in the mail, so I might play that.
Anyone know where I can find Kuon for PS2 besides ebay?
Oh forgot about this topic. I found a handful of my old PS1 games in my attic, so I'll probably give them a whirl. Parasite Eve and Soulblade X. Been playing alot of Just Cause 2 here lately though. Keeping my sandbox-gaming itch in check for a bit till something better comes along.
Finally getting around to Ratchet and Clank: A Crack in Time and it really is a very fun game.
Hopefully this and workong on Dead SPace platinum will keep me busy till Red Dead.
lol you nerds and your platinums
