Played and beat Portal. Now I got "Still Alive" stuck in my head again...
Super Street Fighter IV has been dominating my PS3 and gaming habits since I picked it up Saturday. My thumb is killing me since I let the callous heal from Street Fighter IV.
Just recently beat final fantasy 13 and metal gear solid 4 (both awesome games) and until red dead comes out I've been playing through mgs1 again.
Been spending a bit of time with Nier. Pretty good, I think. A lot of back and forth, but the little conversations between Nier and Weiss make it a little more bearable.
Love the introduction to the game too, listen to it everytime I load up. "Oh Shadowlord, I love you Shadowlord, come over here and give Weiss a big sloppy kiss, Shadowlord. How can somebody with a big, smart brain get hypnotized like a little bitch, huh?!"
MW2 and RB2.
Grandia II was awesome. I tried to play I and III after but couldn't get past 2nd-3rd hour.
Best in the series, also one of the best RPGs of its generation.
Couldn't get into Grandia III myself. Was pretty much forcing myself to carry on playing but eventually lost all interest. Shame really, because I was nearing the end of the game, but it just didn't grip me.
Been thinking about buying another PS2 Just to play FFXII, SO3, KH1/2, and TotA.
FFXII is still one of my fav FF, even though alot of people dissed it, same with SO3(I think), but SO3 is for sure my favorite out of all Star Oceans.
I hear alot of good things about Persona, so been thinking about finally trying out that series and probably try out Onimusha series.
As for now, just trying to finish up FFXIII so I can finally get around to playing all those great PS2 games this summer.
Picked up Picross 3D for the DS and all I can say is it's pretty addicting. I'd highly recommend it if you're a Picross/Puzzle fan since it's only 20 dollars.
New features are nice, however rules are a bit of a pain.
That alone is worth a PS2 lol.
Recently bought Tomb Raider 2 from the PSN Store. Shit brings back memories lol.
Other than that I'm still playing P3:FES. I'm about 85 hours in; Half way through December. I'm trying to max Emperor S.Link so I can get Odin and rape the Reaper.
Out of all the Tales of I've played I never got to finish Abyss, kinda main reason why I'm rebuying a PS2, just so I can finally finish playing through it, but gonna start all over again.
It has a lot of glitches (I never really experienced that many to be honest) but I think of it as one of the best 'Tales of' games.
I've only beaten 1 and 2, so I don't know how the later ones play, but they were pretty fun and worth checking out.
Up to almost 60 hours in Rune Factory Frontier... jesus this game is addictive. I guess it's my first Harvest Moon game in general so I'm learning a lot about the stuff the series doesn't bother explaining anymore (mostly farming basics), but the combat/crafting combined with the drop/farming system goes together perfectly to keep you playing over and over to get perfect drops for a max level weapon.
I'm really not looking forward to spamming Greenifier (crop level +1) and Formula C (growth time -3 days) to get up to Level 10 flowers for the best accessories in the game...
Only bad part about this game is the Runey System, which you can ignore (and by ignore I mean only deal with 6 days out of the month) if you want to give up on getting crops to grow faster... which is the only way to get some crops to grow within a season, so meh.
I guess I'll take a break for Alan Wake next week but I am definitely putting off 3d Dot Games Heroes until I have time to devote to it.
Brought Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia with me to my future sister-in-laws graduation today. Finally rescuing all of the villagers I missed and laughing at how I use to rage quit over fighting one boss who is now trivially easy.
