MGS4 is fine, that's not what it was about, it just happened to get caught up with FFXIII in your post.

FFXII is still one of my fav FF, even though alot of people dissed it, same with SO3(I think), but SO3 is for sure my favorite out of all Star Oceans.

I hear alot of good things about Persona, so been thinking about finally trying out that series and probably try out Onimusha series.

As for now, just trying to finish up FFXIII so I can finally get around to playing all those great PS2 games this summer.
But yeah, XII being on of your favs and you love SO3 (it's my favorite in the series too) means we're somewhere along the same track... if you like some of those Personas, let me know.
Been really skeptical about trying them.

Well, upon browsing Walmart today while shopping about, I happened across Guilty Gear XX ^Core & Castle Shikigami 3 for $10 each.

Only played both of them for about 30min so far, enjoying the feel to Guilty Gear, which probably has a lot to do with me having enjoyed Blazblue to death on my PS3, will spend some more time on that later. It kind of wants me to go and research what it would take to mod my PS3 arcade stick to work on my Wii, although the Wii Classic Controller's d-pad works well for fighting games surprisingly without wrecking my thumb much.

Castle Shikigami 3 I purchased solely due to glancing at the back of the case to which I immediately recognized it was a bullet-hell shmup, and I was all like, "Oh hell yeah, time to buy something I'll never beat on normal difficulty". Game is surprisingly enjoyable for my first bullet hell shmup, and I was laughing my ass off on the first boss encounter where the screen just got fucking plastered with these orange orbs. Game has a surprising amount of options and play mode variants too, which the hardcore must love since there are the 5 difficulty levels, and then on top of that 5 variants of gameplay difficulty levels that affect enemy bullet speed and reward factor.

Shit looks like it belongs on the N64, but I guess in a game like this 60fps with 500+ particles on screen is more important than looking pretty with fluctuating framerate. Honestly though, I'd gladly pay for a PSN port given I'm fucking lazy when it comes to using my Wii since it's hooked up to my brothers' TV, where-as I spend most of my time in the bedroom where my PC/PS3 is. I should really invest in a proper adapter for running Wii via VGA.

Last Wii game I purchased was Mario Galaxy is anyone wants to use that as reference as to how long it's been since I used the thing. It's soft-modded, but outside of trying a couple WiiWare games, I just couldn't be arsed to download ISOs for it. Mario Galaxy 2 I'll probably purchase as Nintendo's dev team deserves the cash for it, especially since it looks like they're actually bringing the difficulty back to the Mario series after the pitifully easy Galaxy 1 & NSMB Wii (if you played it solo that is, that game is impossible co-op).

Think I'm going to (re)-start FFXII and give it another shot. The whole FFXII vs. FFXIII thing in the 13 section really piqued my interest in FFXII, haven't played it since it came out, nor did I finish it, and unfortunately that had everything to do with being so involved in FFXI at the time.

Also starting to play a lot more NHL10 recently, would like to finish my offline and online BAP characters fully before NHL11.

You can only marry chicks, not that you'll ever have enough time to romance one. I can barely find the time to level up FP for the medicine merchant so she carries the full stock of items, let alone remember someone's fucking birthday.

I just got my captured Elefun monster to level 3 friendship so now it waters almost 75% of my crops for me. Micromanaging runeys continues to be a fucking pain but I have 7 out of 9 zones in prosperity, so Turnips now grow in like 2 days instead of 4, and I am rolling in dough lol

This game is addicting D: Do they ever explain runeys and zone prosperity in the game? cause if so I think I might have missed it <_<

Also, my upgraded axe doesn't chop tree stumps, pisses me off

it might, I think the first axe upgrade can get rid of stumps but it takes something ridiculous like 6 B+A swings. For removing tree stumps at the Homestead you're better off just capturing a monster to do it (Little Mages are the earliest, the first monster you come across in B3F Green Ruins), but for dungeons you probably will want to wait until you get the axe upgrade that needs gold, which lets you get rid of them in 2. The golden hammer is the first one that can remove those big black boulders, so I guess it works out.

As for runeys, keeping zones in prosperity is a pain in the ass, requiring you spend 25-50% of every day at least gathering enough water runeys to keep your grass runey factory zone operational. You're better off just keeping the Homestead in prosperity (by planting 12 or so fodder seeds and never harvesting them) and following this guide for the other zones:

    Also Muramasa is fucking amazing

if you haven't figured it out yet, you can use your scrap iron to level up your farming tools to higher levels, which will decrease the RP they use. At level 8-10 my hammer/axe only use 6 or 7 RP per swing, which is pretty handy. To get higher level ores you should always break ore rocks in dungeons with your B+A attack, btw. Weapons, unfortunately, can only be leveled by crafting them with higher level ingredients, which can be a real pain if the recipe calls for flowers that take 120 days to grow.

Also when you're strong enough you should get to B4F of Green Ruins and beat the boss to make a shortcut to that floor, you can make a crapload of money fishing in the pool outside the boss door, and the Dye Trout can be made into Sashimi (with no cooking tools or other ingredients required) to level your cooking skill as well as provide you with a good source of food that restores 200 or so RP.

D: I just got Cinnamon and Candy to show up, didn't know anyone was living at that stupid clock tower <_<

I already beat the big chicken with my fire rod and moo moo cow companion lol. Going to get a fishing rod asap now.

About the scrap iron, the recipe needs 2 scrap irons? my forge only lets me do 2 items :/ Lute wouldn't let me buy an upgrade because my house is too small, and unless I did something wrong, upgrading my house costs... 75k and 900 lumbers? D:

yeah the first forge upgrade is expensive, so you need to upgrade your forge via Kross first, then buy the expanded forge from Lute on Holidays. If you capture a Little Mage you should generate lumber fairly quickly, 2 tree stumps a day is 20 lumber (10 each) + whatever sticks you come across (1 each) in dungeons.

Also you can get the basic fishing rod from Cinnamon (it took me a while to get it, I forget where she was when she finally gave it to me)... and I think you get the harvester (for sucking up runeys, as well as milk/wool/eggs/etc from captured monsters) from Candy.
