I already opened that door.
I need another glittering edge thing from the mantis to upgrade my hammer, so guess I'll go back to the island. (I got one earlier <3 <3 <3 sakura sword, made lava dungeon a lot easier)

Fuck I've been playing this game all day long.
Rainbow can looks incredibly gay lol, but holy crap the RP cost D:
Any place to get more recipes? I got all of sephy's normal ones, and all of the tuesday ones, and I got a few from talking to some people, but I'm still missing like 15 of them.
Also, I have no idea who to marryI'm thinking either Rosetta or Sephy, or maybe Iris, all the other ones look really lame. Well, Melody maybe. I just recently found out how broken and awesome her baths are, I have no idea why she only charges 10 gold, people would pay so much more D:
whale island, lol
I didn't like the HP absorption swords, since they have awful accuracy and whiff every 3rd or 4th hits. I went with the Seal Defense sword, eventually the Luck Blade and then Smash Blade, which crits like every 3rd hit or so.
the RP cost isnt bad once you upgrade them to level 10 and level your farming. The final form can waters something insane like 7x7, it's awesome... AND PINK. The final hoe is actually just a big heart on a stick too, lol.
And I'm probably going to marry Mist, if I get that far before I quit, which should be soon.
I don't even know what the Tuesday recipes are to be honest, I'm actually missing a book of magic wands (not that it matters, for whatever reason you can't get Magic Crystals above level 3 so you can't forge the high level staves above level 4 which is still like 50-70RP per use, so I still use Fire and Earth rods at level 98 cuz they're great).
You could just see what recipes you're missing and then make those things to add them to the cookbook, I guess.
Also just a tip start growing your Emery Flowers and Four Leaf Clovers (preferably trying to level them up) like... right now. Even with Formula C it takes a long ass fucking time.
I reached the drain area, think I missed the boulder or whatever
Plant the flowers in any dungeon, I guess?
enter the Flank area from Fin and go up the ramp on the right, past the pool of poison and then go all the way left on the horizontal path, it should be right there.
also we should probably stop clogging up this thread with rune factory talk, feel free to PM me if you have more questions lol
to everyone else, go play rune factory!
Went through ME2 again. Still playing Red Dead Redemption while squeezing in some MW2 and NHL 10. Other than that I still haven't touched the new Final Fantasy game even though I've had it since it came out.
When playing FFIV DS don't make the mistake that I did of not doing the proper research ahead of time. Turns out, I didn't know that you should give augments to characters that leave your party on my first play through. Face palmed pretty hard when my buddy told me that.
Trying to decide between picking up Super Mario Galaxy 2 or tackling the pile of games I have left unfinished/unopened.
GH Metallica to let off steam, Dragon Quest IV to sate RPG addiction.
Fire Emblem Sacred Stones. can't get enough of this game.
Is the translation the only difference or is there extra content in the GBA version of FFV? I have a GBA micro that sits around collecting dust (and a gb player) so I'd like to use that if possible.
I mean magic crystals (the pink ones called "magic crystal", not the various elemental ones), they're not available above level 3 so you can't really make high level staves or a Magic Ring past level 4 (which is good, because screw 90 day flowers seriously)
oh
The GBA version has like 3 extra jobs that you unlock really late in the game, and I think that's it.
(oh my god why am I awake at 1:30am playing this)
I'm getting close to 175 hours of playtime, I feel your pain
Yes FF5 has 3 extra jobs and an extra dungeon IIRC.
I thought I would ask this here instead of bumping the ME2 thread but I just finished ME1 and bought ME2. I just got done downloading all the DLC and about to start a new game but I'm wondering when I should do the DLC missions? Are they high level or something? Completely clueless here.
finally bought a "refurbished" DS (refurbished with a sticky l-button and dead pixels, gg gamestop) and picked up SMT: Strange Journey. love it, it's been changed up a bit but at its core it's classic SMT. and for every change I'm not so hot about (where are my press turns?!) there's one I really love (searching for forma is addicting). also, lol @ iphone reference a few hours in. cute.
