I hear their accuracy gets better as they level up? Or is it just their HP?
Might as well spend all my xp on them if that's the case...

I'm actually not certain what level effects other than HP and skills. The biggest notable benefit (in the case of lancers anyway) was the upgraded guns having higher accuracy. Overall though Scout is probably the most useful throughout the game, followed by Sniper (especially at the end). Rocking Marina at the end with Extra Shot and Ultimate Aim is broken as fuck. The latter skill literally turns her aiming circle in to a dot, it's practically impossible to miss unless you completely fuck up the aim yourself. Can even take out tanks (assuming you can see the radiator) in 2 shots at end game with the damage to vehicle boost command.
Prioritize getting Scouts up to 11 as early as possible. It unlocks rifle grenades for them which have waaay more range than thrown grenades, it's a huge help.
Yeah Scouts are awesome from what I've noticed. Thanks for the tip, the normal grenade range really is pathetic.
I decided to pick up a classic game that I enjoyed a lot during my high school years. Star Ocean Till the End of Time, Fourth Dimension Mode is soooo fucking hardhad a hell of a time defeating the first boss.
Playing Fallout 3 GOTY. I'm kind of debating putting it on hold and playing Yakuza 2 though.
I definitely remembered Nel, but couldn't remember the other chick I liked. I knew it was Maria or Muria for sure, but I think Muria is from SO4 now that I think about it. I didn't really like SO4 that much so can't remember the characters from that so wellHopefully I can still find a copy of it.
I never played SO4, heard it wasn't that great, but when I was playing SO3 I heard alot of people claim it wasn't that great, and shit with all my saved files that I looked through today I have easily over 300+ in the game alone, and I intend on dumping another 100+ trying to finish fourth dimension mode, not looking forward to sphere 211.
The only thing I remember people not liking about SO3 was the Plot Twist halfway through/near the end. I forgot exactly when it happened since it's been like 5-6 years since I last played it.
my night with Fallout 3 GOTY last night:
load game, kill some enclave soldiers, loot them, repair some shit to make room, hand some over to my follower, target some raiders, freeze in VATS
load game, repeat all the previous actions, get killed by my first Deathclaw ever
load game, repeat, get frozen in VATS again
decide to just fucking fast travel, load game, game fucking freezes ON THE LOADING SCREEN
rage, rage, and more rage, turn PS3 off and somehow manage to keep from hurling PS3 game case into the wall. that was my biggest accomplishment of the night
I finally started playing inFamous. I like it despite it not quite being the type of game I normally play (I'm more hardcore into RPGs), I'm hoping it will hold my interest all the way through, although I'm already sick of the side missions and I just got to the 2nd island.
I've been playing mine on 360 and it hasn't crashed yet, but I'm not very far in.
I was always amazed with all the comments on freezing. I played it on PS3 and beat it three times. Since I rent I played many different disk. And I only recall the game freezing two times out of the hundreds of hours I put in.
360 version isn't known to crash much. and the regular PS3 version isn't either, though the GOTY version is. if you have GOTY though, you are just one damn lucky gamer.
could be my PS3 too, it's "refurbished." or so they say.
no kidding. great atmosphere and all, but they could have spent a bit more time coding it.
Spoiler: show
I own GOTY for PS3. In the time it took me to 100% all the trophies (including DLC) I've had over 40 lock-ups. Was so fucking glad when I was done with the game, worst performing piece of shit on the PS3 period. I don't know how Sony allowed them to release it on the platform in its state.
This might have been it, sounds pretty familiar. Memory is so hazy of it now, can only remember bits and pieces. If only my PS3 could play PS2 I wouldn't have to wait
Anyone know of any decent RPGs/Action/Adventure/Hack 'N Slash type games for 360/PS3 that's pretty cheap?
I can only think of VC, DS, and Cross Edge for PS3 atm. Already played DMC4/Bayonetta. I'm in desperate need of something new to play that'll keep my attention for awhile
PSP also works too, I just need something that's pretty decent/cheap to play atm till mid/late june.
