Ugh, Acing levels in LBP is really starting to test my patience. Third attempt in the past year trying to finish them off. Not sure if I'll ever get the platinum on this one.

[EDIT] Got about 7 stages left to ace currently. Took a break from the main stages and finished 100%'ing the MGS pack. I need me a partner for the Rex & VR trophies though, that shit is extremely hard on the R1 finger solo, but a joke to duo. Have to say I forgot how much fun the MGS pack was compared to the main game, well worth the $$$ I spent on it months ago. Will get around to finishing the Pirates pack trophies eventually, but that can wait.

decided to keep Dragon Age (and by proxy, Mario Kart Wii - though I'm enjoying it a LOT more now that I know you don't need to use the stupid wiimote controls).

anyway, I'm getting a kick out of the repeated use of the word taint to describe the Darkspawn. it's not so bad when the word is used in adjective form as tainted, but when a bunch of old wizards are all sitting around talking very seriously about "the taint"... well, that speaks for itself.

They don't, but I paid for the DLC and the trophies are reasonable as far as difficulty goes, so I may as well do them all also for a full 100% trophy completion on the game.

I'm going to write me up a list of stages with 4-player prize-bubble challenges and I'll add ya. I can control three sackboys myself so I just need a 4th.

I was thinking of replaying FF8... Were there an missables in FF8? All I can think of were some of the Weapons Monthly and, arguably, the summons you Draw, possibly some cards?

I could probably play through without a guide/faq and not miss anything if I'm aware of the weapons monthly/summons right?

DOOMTRAIN the ultimate missable and by extension I think a butt load of hero drinks or holy wars. Maybe that's through something else like cards, but I'd definitely check a guide for cards at minimum.

Only missables I could recall were some summons, such as the aforementioned Doomtrain.

I recalled missing Siren & Eden as well on my first playthrough as well, I find that kind of shit more annoying than the zodiac spear in FFXII.

er huh? how can you miss doomtrain? is the solomon ring missable?

and draw-able summons are not missable until the very end of the game. you'll get a second chance to get them in Ultimecia's palace. of course, getting them at that point is sort of lame, and there's no reason not to draw them as soon as you can.

Solomon Ring was sellable I think? If so you wouldn't be able to get him. I think you can screw Alexander out of Med Level Up too which would mean no Remedy+.

I really want to do a max-stat run through someday soon. FFVIII has to be the easiest game in the series for that sort of run, considering the enemies level with you and the card game can give you endgame spells in the first hour.

Playing Breath of Fire 3 on my PSP in my free time. I already got a normal playthrough almost done with Nina in my party(never used her, I can see why), about to drop that though and do one with a "Mage Ryu" type build that I've never done before. Pretty much keep him dead at level 1 until Mygas is available.

I got Thousand Arms but I've never played it before so I'm either playing that or Breath of Fire 4 or maybe a Metal Gear Portable Ops speed run after I finish with BoF3.

Thousand Arms is tight, now... dating the chicks is a lame aspect of the game. Plays like a Japanese visual novel (for the dates, that is) and that shit sucks but the game is funny and the battle system is kinda cool for a ps1 era turn-based game.

And, idk... I always thought Nina was sorta cool for the first half of BoF3. Once I get Rei back though... Ryu, Rei, Momo for life.

Rei is generally always in my party cause he's such a badass. First time I did Ryu Rei Garr and than Ryu Rei Momo, then Ryu Rei Peco, Ryu Rei by themselves(killed 3rd party member), etc till I finally did Ryu Rei Nina. I've done a Ryu solo game but Rei solo seems kinda boring short since he's only around half hte game. The whole "Mage Ryu" thing is probably the last playthrough I need to do with that game though.

Just beat FF7, got my eyes on FF8 and 9 next...
I haven't played the PSX FF's for so long, it really feels like a new experience now.
