sorry about yesterday kaisha my brother came back home and doesn't like to watch me play that game. i wish i wasn't so late to this game cause it's going to take forever for me to get those trophies before LBP2 comes out
Already waiting to get on the list they got setup over on the LBP forums. Love that site.
I want to make a genuine playable map though. My only beef with LBP is that there are no real examples for shit you'd actually want to build in the game. Took me awhile to get to grips of placing a piece of darkmatter in the far back plane and then gluing the majority of stage parts to it/each other.
Currently trying to figure out how to teleport a sackboy without resorting to killing him after triggering a checkpoint remotely to spawn at. My current level is a mess because I can't figure that one out. I end up having to Google everything to figure out 'simple' stuff such as making dissolve a different colour and changing the sound made when it dissipates.
I'll take a look at it later today. Fucking hot at my place currently and my PS3's fan has been hitting its fourth speed regularly so I'm trying to cut back my playtime incase I end up killing it. ;/
No prob. I still need to get that Party Person trophy eventually. I was never late to LBP (had it couple weeks after launch), but I've been fucking lazy. Been able to appreciate it a lot more though now that the community isn't swamped by "OMG EARN TROPHIES!" levels.
Some of the Japanese have made some crazy-ass levels that I've love to know how they made. We're talking scripted AI and levels within level, I wouldn't even know where to start in trying to debug some of that shit. I guess they had a bunch of 'debug' switches made that force the level to start the script off at a certain point or something and worked from there.
I'm not going to be bothered making an actual level in LBP1 at this point, but I'm definately going to experiment and figure some things out better so I'm prepared for LBP2 before it adds the additional layer of being able to control objects using Sackbots.
have you played Endless Ocean 1 or 2 for Wii? Playing both of those made me want to pick up Afrika for some more nature exploration fun (mostly because an english copy of Aquanaut's Holiday is way too fucking expensive) but I wasn't sure how much I'd enjoy the gameplay. How long would you say the game is?
Also I'm sorry but some parts of Mass Effect 2 on insanity are just not fun at all. All you hardfags who seem to think Insanity is the best difficulty setting are fucking crazy.
I actually have Endless Ocean 2 in my Q at Gamefly. I'm looking forward to trying it out.
it's pretty awesome, if you dont mind the slow pace it's pretty relaxing. EO2 is a lot better than 1, it's definitely one of the best games on wii.
ha, I didn't read that and I thought you were talking about Etrian Odyssey... I was like "relaxing, what?"
then I saw Wii and realized my error.
anyway, carry on.
Finally got around to playing GOW3..
not me. so pissed Alistair will go for a fucking foursome but won't even try getting a blowjob from a dude.
Never played the patapon games before but this Patapon 3 demo is awesome.
Persona 3 for PSP. Never did get to play it for PS2, and have PS4 running on Laptop, so slightly stoked. Decided to start the playthrough as the female char just 'cause.
Just finished Heavy Rain, wow what an amazing game.
Almost finished Suikoden II, the wife seems to be getting a little tired of Suikoden for the time being after playing through 1 and 2. So, now I'm trying to find something new to play. I may dig into my RPS archives for something, but I have no idea what to play currently. Until I can sweet talk the wife into letting me buy a PS3 I'm stuck with my PS2.
Another day of it being too damn hot to play my ps3...or even turn on the tv really >_>
So i'm actually not playin sheeeet
Welcome to my world.
Had my PS3 lock-up twice playing LittleBigPlanet (got another trophy at least >.>), and I figured I wasn't going to push it anymore after that.
Just wish the system would inform you of it getting too hot for comfort before it just locks up, at least the new 360 has it so you know it's not something else causing it to freeze.
Granted I played an hour of Zeno Clash on my main PC today, and hoooly shit do I wish other games had the artistic freedom it has. Gameplay is a bit by the numbers with some horrible gunplay (thankfully not the main focus), but the visuals keep me plugging along to see what other cool stuff shows up later to run around in or beat the crap out of.
my PS3 "warns" me by turning the fan up by a magnitude of about 100.
it's... great. really. I love having to turn my TV up way too loud to be able to hear what's going on.
