So What Are YOU Playing?

Finishing games that I bought and never beat, next in the stack is Metroid Prime 2. Having a lot of fun and loving the suits. (Can't wait to get the light suit!) Pretty challenging so far, I believe I'm half way done or a bit more. (Just finished the Chykka boss fights.) Should beat it this week, then I'll move on to Metroid Prime 3.

With FFXIV coming out, I decided to pick up FFXI off of Steam for $14.99. I had become pretty bored with WoW lately, and was looking for something with an old school feel.

I beat FFXIII so a friend could see the end of the game, then I went back to an old save to farm more CP in the last area before the boss. Got to love farming Wladislaus for 32k a pop in less than 90 sec a battle.

gonna pick up DQIX tonight. still need to finish up a few small things in my first runthrough of Strange Journey, then do two more (much quicker) new game + runthroughs. but I cannot resist the call of DQ - I didn't even know it was out yet, fuck yes. I love the DQIII-style character customization, I geek out over that stuff, and it sounds like DQIX's is far more advanced.

but we all know I'm going to end up in front of the TV all night long playing FFT anyway. damn that game.

been finishing up FF13 the past couple days and only need the treasure hunter trophy for the plat. i think i beat the game exactly how i wanted too because i have 77 hours so far and i never got bored of the game (idk how that happened lol) but i beat the game w/o hella xping during the story, and i just capped xp on adamantoise while farming and i got about 7 mil and 6 traps by the time i capped everyone so i didnt waste any time really

Go get a growth egg so you can get 64k instead. Pretty sure you can go back to pulse and return to the farming area as long as you don't beat the game.

Just finished my insanity ME2 playthrough and my nightmare Alan Wake playthrough, so I'm 1000/1000 on both.

Now I *should* start on DQ9 but part of me wants to procrastinate and play Deadly Premonition so I can jump right into Arc Rise Fantasia when it comes out next week. Or collect weapons in Castle Crashers.

FFT is so awesome, I want to play it so badly now Although I usually just end up naming the characters after irl people, I don't think I'd be able to resist.

I'm kinda not in a DQ9 mood now, the game keeps freezing when I close my ds for a long time, or I forget to charge it and the battery runs out, and I never save <_< Have had to restart a few times and I kinda just want to say fuck it at this point

Having fun with Muramasa, seems like it's going to be short though :/ already on Momohime's last chapter

it's not that short, once you beat the game with momohime and kisuke you can beat the other character's dungeons to get extra accessories, and unlocking white barriers opens up a bunch of new challenge rooms for additional blades/accessories as well.

There are also 2 additional endings per characters, and about half of the blades can't even be crafted until you finish the first ending.

If you're going for 100% it's probably somewhere around 30 hours.

you have to get all the endings in Muramasa! I did Momohime's and her last ending was truly the only real ending. the other two were shit in comparison, the third one really wraps it up. it's very touching.

I don't think I ever did Kisuke's... need to get on that. hopefully I haven't lost my touch. not that it matters with the no-soul-loss accessory and the best swords, lol.

My friend checked out the local library and saw it had lots of ps3/360 games available to rent. Check out yours too if you want free games to rent :D. I'm playing through katamari forever now, kinda sad that its just a combination of the ps2 games and the 360 game :\ . But its katarmi non the less, fuck yeah rolling up stuff

Nope. This particular area is locked out as soon as you go to the next area and you have to go that way to warp back to Pulse. I can't get back to the previous area.

Once I finish the last role for everyone, I'll get a nice buffer then clear the game and go fetch the egg. By then I should be able to farm the adamantoise in Eden.

Oh, I thought you could just backtrack at the very least. I do remember going back to get a growth egg at some point during the final dungeon. Oh well, it's been a while.
