On to the guy's now. I played it for a bit, but didn't really like him as much as Momohime's for some reason >_>

I guess I found her story better, even though I was confused as fuck at the beginning. WAAAH IM A NINJA WITH AMNESIA I FORGOT MY PAST QQ just seems so, idk, meh.

Nope. This particular area is locked out as soon as you go to the next area and you have to go that way to warp back to Pulse. I can't get back to the previous area.

Once I finish the last role for everyone, I'll get a nice buffer then clear the game and go fetch the egg. By then I should be able to farm the adamantoise in Eden.

Is there a way of telling when you'll not be able to farm those? I've not played FFXIII in awhile but it appears easier to farm them as soon as you can rather than later when shit gets harder post-final boss. Last thing I recalled doing in the game was going up a large tower that involved a good 9 or so missions within for these statues.

it's all on gamefaqs. I forget the exact sequence, but I THINK it goes this way: you beat the boss once, then beat them again after finishing both stories, then beat the boss one last time equipped with a certain sword.

it's been a while though so that might not be right.

Then to get the 2nd ending, beat the game with BOTH of those swords equipped on each character

To get the 3rd ending on each character, you have to forge all the swords and get the Oboro Muramasa (I think that's the name, basically the best sword) and beat it with that equipped.

Oh, I thought you could just backtrack at the very least. I do remember going back to get a growth egg at some point during the final dungeon. Oh well, it's been a while.

Yeah. It sucks. You can pretty much go everywhere again except that one set of platforms where there are 3 or 4 spawns including the solo Wladisaus.

The tower was near the end of Chapter 11 in Pulse. The spot I'm at is called the Tesseracts. It's a section just before the final bosses of the game in chapter 13. Everything on Pulse you'll be able to return to either after the end of the game or just before it.

Dumb questions:

Beating the game again means I have to start over form the start? Does that mean there's no point in grinding for xp or trying to get all the treasures in the map and what not?

Until the last playthrough, anyway. Also, do I have to beat it a 3rd time on both? I guess so <.<

Rebeating the game feels like its going to be very repetitive..

also, any reason to play on shura? >_>

So I just beat the story on the guy. The "beat the final boss with blades equipped" thing, do I have to start a new file, or do I just go back to the final dungeon and kill the boss again on the same file? >.>;

I thought at first that I had to restart completely, but now it sounds like I don't? I'm confused

I dunno which thread to ask this in and it's not really 'New Thread' worthy, so I'll just ask here; Anyone know if you can transfer PS2 saves FROM the PS3 to a PS2 Memory Card with that PS3 Memory Card Adapter thing?

I swear I feel like I'm the only one who owns that adapter on this forum, gimmy 5min to check. I wish someone would write a USB driver for it so it would open up an easy means of installing the Indepedence PS2 exploit without the need for a gameshark. ;/

[EDIT] The file copied fine. One thing to note though is that the PS3 will obey PS2 files marked as copy-protected. Also, if your memory card is stupidly old and had its fair share of being inserted/removed like my old black one (I have three cards), it make take some effort before the PS3 will read it fully.

I already planned on buying one to transfer my PS2 saves to the PS3, but a friend of mine wants to play Persona 3 and 4 since she's seen me play them a lot. Only problem is that she doesn't care for the whole grinding thing, just the story/S.Link type stuff. So, I decided to just have her start off my NG+ to make shit insanely easy but she only owns a PS2, so that's where the whole PS3 to PS2 came from.

I have it too.
I've used it for both PS2 and PS1 games. It worked great when I started up FFVII and MGS again after they showed up on PSN.
