finishing up Red Dead Redemption, and playing the JP version of Lost in Shadow for wii. The game is all in english so far, and it's really cool.

Persona 3 Portable... just had my first case of my entire party getting insta-killed by Mudo. First time I've even seen the spell and they managed to get all three of my group with it. Shit's dumb.

Rolling through FF Tactics right now, just finished the Velius fight and about to take on Elmdor, but the first time through he killed that weakass Rafa before my characters had a chance to move. I'm hoping to burn through the rest of the game and pick FFXII back up. I never really finished it before and I'm having an urge to play it again and actually beat it. Not sure what team to use, I think I used Vaan, Ashe and Fran with Ashe as my main tank. I may try something different this time.

similar story: my first encounter with the new bomb status effect in Strange Journey consisted of one enemy using it on my MC, then another enemy hitting my MC, which made the bomb go off and killed my whole team, all before I had a chance to react. the odds that they would use the attack, the status effect would stick, the next hit would target my MC, and that the hit would trigger the bomb effect were pretty much next-to-none.

on the other hand, I like that more than Final Fantasy's "5% chance to hit" Death spell. at least you know mudo and hama are serious business.

I break out in cold sweat every time I see Mudo or Hama on screen. The only thing that changes is when I know I have defence against it, then my heart only skips a beat.

On the flipside, abusing Mudo and Hama type spells is the best shit ever.

I just got to a boss floor, left and fused a new persona with Hama before I saved and turned it off. I will be sure to abuse the crap out of it as much as possible. Those assholes who Mudo'd me before were weak to Light so I will be sure to go and hand them their ass.

Are the Lv1 Mudo/Hama spells a lot better in P3P, like in P4? I know P3FES' Lv1 Mudo/Hama spell's accuracy fucking sucks ass. Even if the monster is weak against it.

Started playing Bioshock 2 a few days ago, so far its pretty good. Also playing GTA 4 and finishing up Red Dead trophies.

I'm still playing GTA IV. I had to buy another copy for PS3 cause 360 died. First time I've actually played through the story.

Taking a break from the excellent Batman:Arkham Asylum since it's been the first game in awhile that I can't just put down, and am worried of beating it within a week of purchase, so I'm restraining myself for a bit.

In the meanwhile, I've been fucking around in Just Cause 2 more in the name of trophy hunting. Slowly working towards 75% completion, with me being at 37% completed at the 22hr point, and I've already beaten the main story hours ago. I seem to gain about 2-4% more completion every 1-2hr session, so it'll be a long while before I get there. I'm surprised the game manages to be fun still.

I was bored and was looking for a game to play, and remembered that I had Magna Carta 2 still sitting around here... so I started playing it, and after 7 hours I've got to say that I'm pretty pleased. The gameplay is a lot of fun and the story is not that bad... plus, a lot of the 2nd .Hack series/Tales of Vesperia's VAs are in this game, which is a big bonus for me.

Toys R Us had Magncarta 2 for 19.98 but I couldn't get free shipping so I wasn't too sure if I should get it lol

also Lost in Shadow is fucking amazing. Might have to take a break from Red Dead Redemption achievements to play more of this, game is like Ico meets Echochrome or something

Manga Carta 2 was pretty fun, wasn't that bad at all. I just wish there were NG+ or some replay value, but if going for 1000/1000 it'll take around 40-50 hours, but you'll have to look at a walkthrough since some quests are easily missable and can't backtrack.

Crocell as knuckle is fucking OP, only Rutee comes close to doing the damage he can.

hate games like that. FFX-2 killed me that way... sure there was a NG+, but I didn't feel like playing through the whole game again to get mascot because I missed ONE conversation after completing ONE quest in chapter 2. that was the only thing I missed, everything else was perfect.

I much prefer games where everything opens up at the end of the game and nothing is permanently missable.

Crocell is pretty ridiculous.

And Magna Carta 2's awesome. I had to force myself to put it down for awhile because I would've easily breezed through it. Such a huge improvement over the first game.

As a tip: You get a bonus for maxing out the skill tree of one particular weapon for a character. Some of them have pretty stupid bonuses though.. sadly I can't remember WHICH ones do and don't.

The tough call is that all of the characters are pretty solid in their own right. Argo, though I didn't use him a ton, was nice for armor break. Celestine was a nice back up healer/attacker.

Zephie gets this one wind shield thing that reflects damage. Totally overpowered on one boss you face before the last dungeon.
