Finished the 2nd temple on 3d dot heroes.

I like the game, but if I play for any longer than 20-30minutes I get a major headache, so only been playing a little bit at a time.

Is this game short (ie, 6 temples + final boss i guess?)? And I'm guessing the tons of content is more end game stuff and trophies? Just curious.

I also bought Demon's Souls, even though I'm positive I'm going to hate it. $30 and the weee :D :D :D free 2 day shipping, I couldn't resist. I love buying stuff just to get it in 2 days, fuck, I suck at money Will probably try it out tomorrow, sleepy time nao.

Nice purchase Julian. I hope you don't end up hating Demon's Souls, it is one hell of a game. Of course it is brutally unforgiving as well but that is why I love it so much.

I want to replay Fallout 3 and have decided to buy the GOTY edition. I've heard that this edition freezes a lot but I've always heard that complaint of the ps3 version. Is this true for the xbox as well or just the ps3? Can't get it for the PC yet since I'm waiting till just before FFXIV comes out before I buy another.

More of a PS3 thing since the DLC is included on the disc itself which is probably where some of the fuck-ups come from (ignoring that the PS3 version is the most unstable of the three to begin with), where-as I believe 360 either gets a voucher code included to download them or a second DVD to install from.

The look on my face when I play Fallout3:GOTY on PS3, just to leave the game later and see it took up 6.5gb of my HD space....., damn disc just streamed it all in during the tutorial segment of the game without an actual install prompt.
(and delayed the loading of everything during it, not a single lip was sync'd to the voices during that time >.> )

Makes me wish Sony enforced a 4gb cache file from the get go, would be a lot easier to keep my HD clean if games just used the cache like the 360 does rather than thinking they all deserve a 3-5gb install slot on your HD.

I've been doing this on impossible with just the plasma cutter (chapter 9 so far), but I need something to deal with those two particular douche mobs since I'm wasting way too many credits on ammo to take them down.

I was working on this trophy too, and eventually i got max stasis. (Actually pretty early on. I was going for max everything trophy too.) The giant things eventually dont give you any problems with a maxed out plasma cutter, so long as you only hit those fleshy tentacles. Then the Moaners I just stasis them and go about my merry way. Way to much ammo to down one of those and stasis lasts long as hell when maxed out.

If you're on chapter 9 and spending all your money on nodes you might have to chill a little while and stock up on ammo. You get more nodes for beating the game. I didnt get platinum until chapter 10 of my third playthrough >_> Maybe chapter 11(easy mode is fast!)

Oh i also finally got Uncharted 2, even though I didnt get but halfway through number 1. Am I going to need to wiki the story or is it pretty much unrelated?

I'm also playing the crap out of pokemon HG. Trying to do the suggestions people gave me for my shiny Machamp.

Still playing Ape Escape 3 in preparation of Ape Escape PS3 this fall. Game is so much fun, I expect a Playstation move version of the game to be spectacular.

Also popped in Fear 2, still havent beaten it lol. Bit too many gunfights in the game but I'll beat it eventually.

Other than that, the backlog is getting bigger and bigger with incomplete games. Theres just never enough time and my attention keeps waiving toward other games.

Edit: In all seriousness, I'm about to lolblog about this stuff. Trophy hunting, reviews, my backlog on games What sucks though is the best recorder I've found on the interwebs is some HVD(?) adapter that costs 200 dollars. Next step down is buying a DVR and the appropriate adapters which is, like, 150. Next step down is using a webcam and looking like a damn fool. It sucks, I dont want the videos to look retarded but 200 dollars is a lot of money to show (noone) what I'm doing in mah games.

I've been abusing the duping methods for credits early on in the game, so I'm good on cash, but not enough for the nodes I need to purchase. About 50 nodes short of maxing out everything if I sell everything I got and buy them now. Going to dupe again in 10/11 when I find the spot, just entered 10 on Impossible, should be covered for max stats at that point.
(I really can't be arsed to do a third 'clean-up trophy/farm core' run at this point in time, would rather have my plat as I beat impossible)

Never thought to freeze those screaming fuckers though. Will try that.

A couple of characters return from Uncharted 1, so you might not fully understand their relationship at first, but it pretty much gets re-established really quickly, so you can understand what happened. Story-wise though, there's little to no connection, so you should be fine.

Really dont need to dupe or use cheats in dead space, on impossible I did one gun with the plasma cutter and maxed it out rather quickly. Maxed out my suit very fast as well, as long as you're smart with your ammo and cash its pretty easy, died all of 5 times on my impossible playthrough. I used the obsidian suit in my impossible playthrough, only advantage I used, which was more so for the slots than damage reduction.

Did One Gun on my first playthrough, used Obsidion suit for that also.

Only reason I'm cheating is for the maxed out trophy, as there's no legit way to get that done in one playthrough, and I can't be arsed to do a New Game+ run. Other than that, I've been playing the game normally, been hovering around 700-750k credits the last few chapters based on ammo usage and what I get back in drops. Plasma Cutter and HP on suit been maxed out long ago, and almost a necessity when I get two-shotted by anything my size.

Been going at a rate of about 1 death per chapter, most of which are thanks to my bloody dualshock making me move forward towards the mob (my analog stick is really worn out) and screwing up my precision aiming in the process of making me within range to be slaughtered. ;/


Going to bloody hate the upcoming chapter where you meet 'that guy' again and have run through the stasis-maze.

Yeah it took me 3 playthroughs to platinum and yeah I remember you having that controller problem when we played Red Dead online, need to replace that, lol.

Why the FUCK did I spend $30 on this shit. I KNEW I wasn't going to like it.

I started playing it, started out ok I guess. Customization sucked, couldn't make my character cute or anything. Tutorial was useless, and then I reached some boss that one shot me, and the tutorial basically ended without saying anything and I have no idea what to do now.


Oh well, I tried, gave it a chance, didn't like it. Head hurts now

You're are supposed to die to that boss, that is the end of the tutorial, it takes you to the nexus and you're presented with the hub world. From there you want to go to the first pillar and begin 1-1, once you complete that you'll open the large gate on the castle and open up the first boss. After that boss, you open the stat building and what not.

The Demon's Souls topic has more info than you will ever need in it. Though it is gonna take some sifting, so may want to look somewhere more specific like GameFAQs or a Walkthrough or Wiki.

Thanks for the info, I may try it out again one day, I figured that was probably what I had to do. That wasn't really too big of the problem, the main problem was that this game also gave me headaches after playing for 10-20min or so, so it's pretty much unplayable =/

finished all single player achievements in Red Dead Redemption, yay

Now playing through the last few chapters in Bullet Witch, finally. This game is a ton of fun, blasting the hell out of demons and throwing cars and blowing shit up. I got a few pieces of DLC since it's all 20 points now, so I'll check that out too

Almost done with all achievements in DW:G2, but just found out 3 achievements are only obtained from online and online is fucking dead on this game, so guess I'm screwed on 1000/1000. Once I knock out last few I need I'll try to finish up getting 1000/1000 in Infinite Undiscovery, just hope I don't get owned so much in Infinity Mode.
