They nerfed Solomon's folly(PS3 Version only) because you can complete it in about a minute and it was giving 1200-1700 xp depending upon factors. People were using it to power level quickly, now the best way to get xp I would say is doing co-op missions. Although Pikes Basin and Fort Mercer still give pretty good xp, as well as doing pvp based multiplayer.
almost done with DQIX. I don't think I would have had the patience to finish this game if it weren't for being able to grind during downtime at work. my playtime's at around 56 hours and probably at least 10-15 of that is grinding, if not more (grinding exp, grinding for drops, stealing items, zooming around the world map and gathering ingredients, etc.)
not playing much else lately. my consoles are languishing. plus it's so fucking hot my PS3 has been kicking into overdrive within twenty minutes of being on lately, so annoying. but DQ has enough content to keep me happy for another month I swear, so whatever.
I'm about 12 hours into DQXI and haven't done a job change, haven't done much side quests or anything, it's still got me pretty pumped with the regular storyline.
just in case you didn't know, you won't be forced to job change or add party members. party members happens in Stornway, job change after beating Alltrades Abbey quest.
I thought it was fairly obvious but apparently a lot of people have missed this stuff.
Started DQ9 yesterday. Pretty good so far I believe. That, interspersed with a bit of BBCS. Maybe I'll finish some older games since I have a bit more time on my hands after quitting FFXI.
Trying to re-play through Fallout 3 and then move on to the DLC for the cheevos but the fucking thing keeps crashing every 30min and I can't for the life me figure out why.
Fucking desktop better not be dying again.
I never had any problems playing Oblivion or Fallout on 360, maybe it's just their PS3 team or something
I'm on PC.
First time around I had almost no problems. Crash here and there but it wasn't too bad. Hell the worst part was that I never logged into my Live account so I didn't get the Achievements.
This playthrough though is a different story. Shit just refuses to work.
Don't know if it's LIVE, the 1.7 patch, my HDD...
I'm in the same position, that said, if you have Vesperia... PLAY.
I honestly get into the same situation, back log of games, don't want to play one, then force myself to sit down and play 2-3 hours, once you get into it, you don't want to stop (for most of the games listed here, that is, which are good).
Saw someone suggest Demon Souls. That's also, fucking incredible. DS2 is the only game I may want more than The Last Guardian.
The king tells you to go recruit help from people at the inn...
And Patty tells you to visit her :<
Pretty sure that he did D:
honestly don't really remember 100%, could be wrong!
Let me actually change that to 100% certain, because... he doesn't say that.
I found the NPC to add party members right away, and of course it was obvious once i talked to maybe 2 different NPCs what Alltrades was all about. The Alchemy Pot though, entirely missed that for a decent amount of time as I apparently missed whichever NPC told me it was at the Inn.
After looking at Item Checklist again, turns out I fucking missed Oversized Wristband somehow and I'm already in Seraphic Gate at save point here, so no fucking way I'm reloading my save all the back from Sapran, but I swear I thought I had this shit... I kept checking list a lot, but overlooked it I guessGetting Compulsive achievement on Infinite Undiscovery without the vouchers is fucking hell. I spent so much time farming and crafting shit when I can easily buy it with vouchers. I'll just wait till I get home to download vouchers and do Compulsive on Normal I guess.
Funny thing is, I think Atreides pointing out this item just few pages back, too. Guess I'll go finish playing 358/2 days.
