Playing Carcassonne for the Iphone ;D
l4d2 craze atm.
Got War For Cybertron from Gamefly today. Not really digging it so far. Controls on the vehicles seem clunky to me. The fanboy in me wants to give it a shot though.
Starcraft 2, seeing how Fallout 3 refuses to run longer than 3min at a time now.
hm, my friend just bought fallout 3 but not the GOTY. is the GOTY that bad with freezes? could i use the GOTY disk to get the DLC on my ps3 and just use the original?
All versions of FO3 probably freeze.
This is just me talkin' outta my ass here but I tried to play it on PC a year ago and just kept crashing over and over and over and over.
When I'd fix one issue, I'd find out I had others still.
Buggy piece of crap!
well im about 3 hours in and it has not froze on me yet. am i lucky or am i not even close to where some of the bugs are at?
On the triple its just the GOTY version that freezes in the goty areas, and on the PS3 its all on one disc so you cant download it off the disc and not play w/o it.
First time I played FO3 I had 0 issues. One or two crashes but it was usually after hours and hours of extended play.
This playthrough (using same disc and system) has been nothing but issues though which only helps infuriate me further.
maybe the patches that came out fucked the game up if your save file was made before the update, idk so far i haven't had any problems but i wish i had the dlc
Oh well, lol. Gonna take a break from IU now after spending 2 hours getting Filthy Rich achievement. It was actually easier and quicker then I thought. To be honest, I liked IU a lot more then I thought I would, was definitely a lot of fun even with your main attack only being Grinn Valesti for the rest of the game. Was also playing around with Rico and he's fucking OP doing 200k+ Voltscourge(sp).
Thinking of replaying Blue Dragon or Eternal Sonata, but also thinking of continuing Enchanted Arms or finish getting my last 10 achievements in Vesperia or Warriors Orochi 2. I think they nerfed Kunoichi in WO2, which made me QQ since that was my main from WO. I wonder if anyone from WO2 is broken like Kunoichi was from WO.
Nu Wa is where it's at in WO2. Wasn't broken but she was just fun as hell to play as for me. If you want broken you need to unlock Himiko. Bitch is absolutely nuts. I always just use Ginchiyo Tachibana, Nu Wa and whatever third takes my fancy though. In WO1 I always had Hideyoshi Toyotomi in there (no Nu Wa)for his broken as hell support ability, but I don't really remember anyone in WO2 being stupid good aside from the obvious secret characters like Orochi and Himiko.
Ginchiyo was my 2nd or 3rd main, can't remember who else I played with a lot for some reason, but Kunoichi and Ginchiyo I played with a lot. Ginchiyo always been a beast to me, loved tearing up shit with her. Kunoichi I used for speed runs on hardest difficulty since she was pretty much best at it due to that one attack along with the clones. Can't recall it exactly since been awhile, but it's something like that.
Edit: I think it was Nene, too, even though she was pretty much a Kunoichi clone.
Oh man, Nu Wa was fucking broken as shit in DW4 or whichever game they introduced her, too.
How did you get the Filthy Rich achievement in IU? Just spamming synthesis on salamander boots and those charm thingies over and over? Trying to get surprise attacks on shit in Seraphic Gate or spamming steal with Vic (which never works lol) really wore thin, otherwise I definitely would have gone for at least all of the magic/skill scrolls. Maybe some day.
You should play Blue Dragon! How far did you get the first time though? The DLC is only like 80 points each now (Shuffle Dungeon and 5 Treasures). As much as I hated some of the characters (Marumaru) I really enjoyed the battle system. I've been contemplating playing on Ultra Hard since some of the harder battles in blue dragon are really fun, but the game is way too easy sometimes.
Currently 57 hours into Arc Rise Fantasia![]()
There's a Mimic right near teleporter to Halgita in Seraphic gates, with 2 Harvest coins and Gold X3 enchantment you'll get around 175k-187k each kill, should be able to kill it 10 times before the enchantment wears off. Keep the tactic on Wait so party members don't end up killing it keeping you from getting max Fol from it. Since I'm on Infinity I have to use Elemental enchant also to 1HKO it with Grinn Valesti, but that's not a problem and it lasts 10min. Just keep using Gold X3 enchant and kill Mimic then use teleport to Halgita right near it and repeat. With vouchers you can run back to Genma and stock back up on Silver and Gold metals for enchantments.
I finished Blue Dragon long time ago, missed 7 achievements though, but I lost them all, so been wanting to replay it and 1000/1000 it this time. Blue Dragon isn't that bad at all, just pretty easy like you said. Only Gold Mecha and King Poo gave me somewhat of a challenge.
Spent 4 hours with Shoj today doing the entirety of the Red Dead Redemption co-op trophies. I never want to do that fucking river mission again......
Currently playing the single-player now which I only put two hours into prior, and I've owned the game since its release. Just figured out how to fast-travel so that'll make things a little more bearable, beats calling for cabs in GTA4 that costs you money.
One of my problems with games like these is that I tend to stress out about missables, or getting everything done in a given period before moving on with the story so I can reach 100% completion with certainty, but it makes the game less enjoyable in the process. Most I know to do in RDR is to use the same horse and not let it die for 20 missions as far as missables go. Still doesn't help make the game less overwhelming in the amount of content I have to tackle though.
Is there a point to buying locations to sleep at when you can just campfire in the wilderness?
I guess games like these take me awhile to get in a groove, and then I end up playing it non-stop for the following two weeks. That'll probably happen with Mass Effect 2 also which I've barely touched when I got it on release day. >.>
(granted a lot of that was Bioware's fault in having the game unplayable on single-core PCs, making me wait 50 days for a patch)
[EDIT] Jeez, 20% completion after 4 hours, this game doesn't look like it's that much of a chore to 100% compared to GTA4, or other sandbox games. Got my Spurred trophy at any rate after completing my 21st mission, which I'm guessing is the bare minimum since you don't have a horse on the first one.
Pretty sure the main benefit to sleeping in town is the ammo chest there, although I've only ever gotten revolver and repeater ammo from it, even though I almost always used the pistol. I'm pretty sure they'll make you lose a tail if you have a posse after you or whatever, too.
And that fucking horse achivement is lame. I somehow didn't get it until I was almost done with New Elizabeth, mostly due to the horse running his dumb ass off of cliffs or into gunfire after I get off of it.
