i was gonna wait until the 3ds to buy a new ds, but now... idk. maybe I can superglue it back together?
Was thinking of maybe getting a dsi XL, they look kinda cool, but might be too big? idk. also more expensiveor I could get a regular black/blue ds, which I reallly like how it looks, and it's $130ish on amazon. Better than $190 for the xl, but, i don't fucking know
dear /bg/, what do?![]()
it probably broke because those stickers were so gay it just couldn't go on with life
but yeah mine is cracked in the same place, I have to get another DS Lite though or else I can't use my flash cart
It's a better game than reviews would have you think, and it's a great deal considering how little it sells for at most places. Definitely consider it if you need an RPG to play.
We should have a sticky about Enchanted Arms since people keep asking lol
oh that's not my ds lol, just a random picture I found that was broken the exact same way mine was.
No clue what to do about ithope super glue works
having a 2nd ds would be nice, since I have an old R4 (and an even older supercard) so I could like trade on pokemon with myself or, idk, anything that requires 2 people lol
superglue seems to be doing the trick, crisis averted, yay
To answer the topic itself, for the latest months I've been playing Final Fantasy VIII, GT5P, Demon's Souls, Vagrant Story and um.. Heroes of Might and Magic III.. that game just never seems to grow old for me.
Edited since Julian repaired his DS...
For me I have been getting the urge to go back back to Trauma Team and beat the game on Specialist mode as well as getting the achievements I've missed.
do more missions in Trauma Team open up on different difficulties? I really loved the game, my only problem was that I wanted more of it (especially the surgery sections)
Once you beat Patient Zero (The chapter that unlocks after you complete all 6 character's storyline) you get a new mode called "Specialist" which on the Altus site is supposed to be X mission difficulty.
Might be a bit of a stretch since I seen the final mission on Specialist mode with an XS rank and it didn't look too hard. So I'd say it'd be more of a hard mode instead of X mode for difficulty.
Though yeah, I do hope they make a direct sequel to this. Forensics and Orthopedics were great. And the final chapter had a great mix of suspense/sadness.
the only chapter I didnt really care for was Tomoe's, mostly because the endoscopy was a little hokey and overly simple. But yeah, I'd love to see a sequel too. I really enjoyed the medical gameplay removed from the fantasy alien virus bullshit
Couple RDR questions since I apparently am in the groove for the game finally (5 hours played in the last day >.>).
1) How do I initiate assaults on hide-outs in singleplayer, is it story based?
2) What was it that you had to do to get the exclusive PS3 outfit?
3)Spoiler: show
4) Anything that you could recommend me doing? I've been bumrushing the storyline, looking to take a break and do other stuff aside from the 4 challenges.
1) It's story based, after you clear whatever part of the story takes place at that hideout is generally when it opens up, just have to leave the area and come back in a few days.
3)Spoiler: show
4) Take some time to hunt, do bounties. Wolves are great money at first (and cougars), then bears/buffalo when you get to the great plains. As long as you're not rushing to get that dumb horse achievement I'd recommend taking it slow, the whole game is about exploration and whatnot. Also I liked working on the non-gambling achievements as I went through the story, but I'm OCD about that kinda stuff.
Yeah, just finished the mission for #3, seems like you can't use quick-travel between the two locations, have to cross yourself then set up campfire to move about eh? Glad to be done with the Three Stooges story-wise at least, hated those fuckers, so annoying....
I should probably do some gambling to get that $10k trophy out of the way, I'm broke with a measly $156 to my name atm. Multiplayer trophies are going to be a bitch unless LAN counts towards ones like the Wanted for 10min trophy, I can't see myself being lucky enough to stay in an empty public free roam for that long without some douche connecting in and killing me.
What should I hunt then? All the smaller crap and deer don't seem to sell for much, although I picked me up a rabbit's foot that should help some.
Didn't know there was a travel-to-waypoint option for the campfire, will try that out, should save even more time for those out-of-the-way mission locations.
Another question though, online has a shitload of challenges to do, are they primarily just for XP?
[EDIT] Lol, got to love random glitches. There's a horse in the background in my current mission cutscene and it's spazzing out like a mofo.
Best thing to do is hunt things and sell them in the "opposite" location. Like, once you can hunt bears, sell everything in Mexico for more profit.
