Yeah I did do a little bit of "research" before I decided to pre-order it, and one of the main selling points was almost everywhere I looked, it said "if you haven't bought a Madden in a few years, this one is worth picking up" so I did. I just played a quarter of it earlier to start learning the game, feels very weird without having speed boost, but I know I can switch it on and off.

So instead of going on a Wii gaming session I decided to get back to Osu! and try to finish my beatmap for submission. Just wish I knew a lot about BPM/Offsets.

Just wish multiplayer wasn't a pain in the ass.

I finally beat the Secret Boss on Hard in Persona 3: FES, so now I'm completely done with that game(well, till I feel like playing it again, whenever that is lol.) It'll now rest on my shelf.

Other than that, I've been playing a little bit of Arc Rise Fantasia. Pretty good so far. Also thinking about doing a DMD run on DMC3. That game sounds fun at the moment.

Just finished Nier. Bought it when I saw it on sale on amazon since I always had alittle interest in it but honestly I didn't expect to enjoy it as much as I did. Actually I loved that game lol

oooh, I've been wanting to play it for a while too. Been trying to find it for under 30 on sale, usually my breaking point is when the used price of a game drops to $34.99, then I use coupon codes on gamestop.com to get it lol. I actually just ordered Just Cause 2 for like 27 bucks.

Anyway yeah, it's good? Seems like the kind of thing I'd like

Currently sitting at 83 hours in Arc Rise Fantasia. Finishing up some sidequests and arena battles, and then unlocking a few weapon gems. I think I have 1 more storyline dungeon, then there's a whole bunch of shit that unlocks post-game. I'm really enjoying the hell out of this, I gotta say.

Only weird thing I've seen from Nier is the text it sets your PSN account for.

Currently says "Beating an enemy senseless. Get down and stay down!" for you Oravis.

lol I noticed the weird messages when someone else was playing it a few months ago on my psn list. Wish I could see what it says on mine though.

Also I think it is incredible. It definitely has its flaws but none of that seemed to bother me for the most part. The graphics aren't the best and you can't go into this game expecting it to be combo heavy like GoW or DMC. But the story, characters, english voices and especially music were all incredible imo. It has 4 endings so I'm going for ending B now.

Put over 35 hours into my first playthrough but I did a ton of side quests...abit over 50% of them. Alot of them are fetch quests though so it can be a pain. The experience of this game overall would be enough to put it in my top 5 ps3 games so far...and I've played over 40 of them at least. Just my opinion.

hmm... then Ill definitely keep an eye out for it. I think the games I tend to enjoy most are the ones you can just nerd out and collect/upgrade all sorts of shit, which is probably why I'm enjoying Arc Rise Fantasia and why I secretly love the Lego games.

There are 3 different weapon types in Nier and you can upgrade all the weapons you get up to 3 times. Lots of rare items needed for some of these though lol

I rented Nier not long ago and I really enjoyed it! I fully plan on buying it down the line for a bit cheaper if possible. I know it got some fairly harsh reviews on launch but I had a lot of fun with it.

And Kainé? BEST HERMAPHRODITE IN ANY VIDEO GAME EVER!

Ok, actually, one of my favorite characters either way =P I don't think I had actually made it far enough into the game to get her whole story (I say her because she IS female, just ... yeah, you will find out?)

She swears like a goddamn sailor. Love it.

Oh, and I am playing Mirror's Edge because I got it for $10 and never had.

Fucking Plants vs. Zombies.

Lost two hours today since I decided to install it on my Mac thanks to PopCap SteamPlayin' it up recently. Had to start from scratch, but shit, I don't know why I can't put the game down even when the first 30 some levels are an absolute joke for me to do.

Been obsessed with DA:O. Just came to an abrupt stop in the Deserted Building, I can't stay alive past the ridiculous amount of waves, magic, traps and aoe's. Any suggestions?

Going to sleep for now but can't get enough of this, I wish I had picked it up sooner.

That the blood magic place? It's pretty hard, but you should always try to target mages first, do whatever you can to keep them from fucking you up. If you have some salves or whatever, this is a good time to use them. Alistair with the right Templar abilities rocks there as well, if you have holy smite, you can clear through the area easily.

Thanks a lot for those recommendations, I'm actually enjoying Oblivion a lot. I'm truly surprised since I didn't like Morrowind and I'm still going to try to force myself to play Fallout 3 (only in the town with the bomb atm, that was prolly a year ago).

I chose a Spellsword under the birth sign of the mage. I don't know if I'm doin' it right, but when I looked up recommended builds, everyone had a completely different strategy. So I said "fuck it" and figured I'd use my 21 years of video game experience and do what I want.

You can pretty much do whatever you want. The best way to kick ass is to literally choose your main skills as shit you never use and then grind everything else to 100. You won't level up from it and all the enemies will still be level 1 peasants whilst you stomp the fuck out of em. The difficulty slider in Oblivion was really nice though. You can literally just tune the game to how you want it rather than it having silly levels where one is too easy or one is too hard.

i just got Demon's souls and dead space today, any tips for demons? i havent started yet because my brother has been watching tv all day but i just want some simple pointers for what i should be looking for, how often i should farm xp, etc.

The Demon's Souls topic has more info than you will ever need in it. Though it is gonna take some sifting, so may want to look somewhere more specific like GameFAQs or a Walkthrough or Wiki.

Read up! Have an idea what kind of character you want to play, whether that will make things even more difficult that need be, etc. Crystal Geckos, Soul Form, Rings RINGS RINGS! =) Have fun!
