Has anyone played Untold Legends: Dark Kingdom for the PS3? (launch title). I found it for a decent-ish price and I sort of want to buy it, mostly for local co-op.
still playing DQIX, sadly. I now have all the Metal King Slime items except gauntlets and legs. got those legit, too. I did cheat with the hoimi table for several pieces of ultimate armor, including 2x torso, 1x boots, 1x toga and 1x springtime hat. I can only imagine how long this shit would take without cheating. hit level 99 with 2x glad, 1x sage and 1x ranger, with level 40 in 5 or 6 other jobs per person to leech skill points from them. currently grinding grottos to get a level 99 grotto to increase the likelihood of beginning floor rank 9 enemies for rank 10 chests.
phew. if that didn't make any sense to you, consider yourself blessed. I think I'm addicted, lol
Got all 4 endings in Nier. I'd try platinuming but some of those trophies are just ridiculous. Finally got to play Heavy Rain after spending the last several months ducking and dodging spoilers for it everywhere I went. I loved that game way more than I thought but the dlc seemed abit too short for me. I still need to finish Mass Effect on pc so I can move on to the second but that game can't seem to keep my attention for very long.
For me, Mass Effect is one of those series were I have to force myself to play it for a couple hours before I get into a groove and then start playing it non-stop for the next half of the day.
Still waiting for that to happen for ME2 as I'm only about 3 hours into that. >.>
As for me, I'm still bouncing back/forth between the three sandbox games I've been actively trying to platinum. RDR I've been trying to do the challenges but I can't find a bloody dear for the life of me, it's always a bloody buck. Tried out the dice game though and found that fun, made an easy $800 which is the most I've had yet so far. Just Cause 2 I'm taking a break on as completing settlement after settlement for 75% completion is extremely tedious at my point where that's the only trophy I got left (aside from the harder difficulty trophy). Lastly, the Saboteur, which I'm one mission away from beating, so I'm doing some clean-up work and finishing off my final two perks, along with spending 10-15 hours on freeplay targets. ;/
Still replaying Blue Dragon, tried going through game again avoiding trying to lvl up so much, and still ended up pretty high somehow, game was also alot easier this time, too. I really wish BD had more endgame bosses like King Poo and Gold Mecha Robo that are actually challenging and require the use of other Shadow classes skills. Now to get the rest of the monsters and items for Item Completion and Monster Completion achievements
And wow, I read somewhere Enchanted Arms secret dungeon is like 7-8 hours long o.o
What am I playing? Altered Beast, for that groovy game over theme that sounds so out of place!
Working on grinding my rogue and mage to 20 in Dragon Age Origins.
Singularity. I am liking it so far.
Alrighty, I finally beat Plants vs. Zombies on my third attempt from scratch back from when I purchased the game a year ago.
Currently having more fun with the minigames than I am the base game, going to try and get that gold statue along with the Steam achievements now.
We popped in Rule of Rose yesterday for whatever reason. I just started a new file cause I forgot what was going on. Playing from the ps2 on a 42ish screen, so its a little pixely, kinda wish I had a real copy of the game then I'd play it on the ps3 for the smoothing effect.
Otherwise I'm not really playing anything lol
Been playing FF4 on my DS again. Last time I played I never tried any augments (I wanted to play the game "retro" style and just focus on leveling and equipment only) which made the game pure hell (Kain's Jump was the only thing that saved me since Zeromus's Big Bang attack pretty much wiped the floor with everyone).
Dunno if I'll try the optional superbosses or not. Mt. Ordells doesn't sound too bad with Cursed Rings, however Proto-Babil sounds like a pain since Adamant Armor is pretty much a must, and rare as hell to obtain.
finally started a party on demon's souls and i like that game a lot more when there is another person. also trying to finish up my created level in LBP, i think i did pretty good so far for my first level, now i just need people to play it for the trophies :/
I just got an xbax, picked up a FF XIII bundle and of course I got rid of the copy of 13 on the xbax. But Ive been playing Shadow Complex, what an awesome game, really like the armor upgrades and the game looks fantastic. Played the demo for the new Tomb Raider as well, loved it. I have the full version downloading now.
I do however find it funny 2 yrs later, having an xbax again and im playing the same 2 games when my console shit the bed for the third time. Fallout 3 and fable 2.
Also, ODST fucking blows.
had a PSP shipped to myself, and played through megaman X: Maverick Hunter, blew through Crisis Core, and regularly hunt monsters such as fucking Tigrex and the other with Monster Hunter Freedom Unite. I like Monster hunter.
will soon be starting on the original Final Fantasy. In between hunts.
Picked up and started playing Disgaea 3 for the PS3. Love the new additions, this game will keep me busy for a very long time. I also picked up a copy of Tales of Vesperia, will probably play that sometime soon, definitely won't wait until I finish Disgaea 3 to start that.
Mafia II incoming from Gamefly. I got Forza 3 the other day from them as well.
I jumped back into Dragon Age over the weekend. Fucking hate rogue so I just glitched it to 20. >.> Working on the Orzammar story line with my mage now. In retrospect I should have just picked one path and stuck with it on my first playthrough. Most of the main storyline is dragging for me now. I did enjoy Warden's Keep and the Stone Prisoner though since I did those this time around.
In between doing all of that I'm working on the Madden Moments scenarios in Madden 11.
It felt so nice to pull FFIV out of my DS last month. It took me over a year to get 2 Red Tails for Onion Swords. So far, I have 3/5 Adamant armor in playthrough #2. I'll get back to it some day but for now, DQIV is a nice break. Though, I found myself doing the same sort of thing. Grinding for gear in chapter 3 so I'll have a ton of gil when the main story opens up in chapter 5.
Gimmy a dingle when you figure out a bloody way to XP your mages so you can upgrade their spells.
I stopped playing the game because buying XP potions is inefficient (and a waste of my HL), and trying to have them get in on group attacks is flaky at best even when I sit them next to my stronger members in the school.
As for me, I reinstalled Doom 3 the other day and have been bumrushing it on medium difficulty. Game is a lot more fun than I remembered it, but a lot of that probably has to do with my current PC being able to run it at 60fps on ultra @ 1920x1200 resolution. Not sure why it got all the hate it did for not throwing enough mobs at you at once. It's still fun regardless even if it's a simple FPS at heart. (complete with rewarding you with ammo/armor for exploring nooks and crannies like in the original two Dooms)
Game still looks fantastic 7 years later, with the only blemish being the character poly count is a bit low, but is made up by the excellent normal mapping all around the entire product. Was close to beating it years ago when it was new on my older PC, but I've long since lost the save data for it due to a hard drive failure on that old crappy rig.
