Sadly, there's nothing that interests me until Star Ocean 4 next month and GH: Metallica in March... so still playing CoD5.

Burnout Paradise. Fun stuff.
Been playing NHL 09 and starting rerolling in Fallout 3.
Soma Bringer is fantastic, thanks for the tip Kiarax. I expected the story to be a lot more bare-bones, with crappy dialogue and under-developed characters - this translation is actually pretty good, much better than a lot of what you see from professional translations. And the gameplay is pretty fun, I love being able to put my AP into whatever ability I want without worrying that I'm not choosing the right one. Being able to re-spec on the fly is great.
Presentation isn't bad either, nice music and beautiful graphics for a DS game.
Playing Gears of War2 mostly these days, just waiting until my SF4 special edition arrives next month <3
The cutscenes in the GC version were absolutely batshit compared to the PS1 version.
From Wiki:
Gray Fox's voice actor is different [which really fucks up the character] and Mei-Ling's accent got nuked and she was made a preppy american girl instead. Naomi also lost her accent.Although The Twin Snakes was largely developed at Silicon Knights, its cut scenes were developed in-house at Konami and directed by Japanese film director Ryuhei Kitamura, reflecting his dynamic signature style, utilizing bullet-time photography and choreographed gunplay extensively. Kitamura created many of the games cinematics to look identical to those in the original Metal Gear Solid, but upon inspection Hideo Kojima had him redo them.
Dialogue was worked about too, in some cases huge amounts of it were cut out entirely making some boss/character encounters a let-down for people who've played the original.
For the best MGS experience go for the PS1 version. Buy, Emulate, whatever, it's the best hands-down.
Those do sound like altering game play changes but I don't think they justify me having to play the PS1 version to get the full story. I think I just got the story fine which is all that matters to me. Were none of those bullet time scenes in the original MGS? Like Gray Fox slicing the bullets and Snake literally doing the matrix style bullet dodges/flips/spins? I found those to be exciting and it really gave me a sense for how epic he was and reinforced why he was the superior twin, until the end when they fucked with my head and told me he was actually the inferior twin.
I guess I'll try and youtube some and see if I notice differences.
Currently addicted to The World Ends With You, which has put Soma Bringer on hold. Now I understand why there was a huge thread about it. Tetsuya Nomura should leave Final Fantasy alone, quit working on that Kingdom Hearts shit, and do more games like this.
Star Ocean 2 and a solo/monster run through Final Fantasy Tactics/Hacktics, just because I was told by someone that I couldn't. =P
I've mostly been playing Metal Gear Online.. (and getting head shotted from half way across the map by M4's) progressively getting better though.
Begrudgingly trying to finish GTA4, even though it bores me to tears.
Because I found Resistance 1 to be over rated I waited quite a while to try out Resistance 2. But I must say I was very pleasantly surprised. This game is 100x better then the first and co-op is the shit. My nephew is having a blast, I've never seen him so happy to play a game. Only flaw I see is that the second player stats reset when you are done. That is bullshit.
Tales of Vesperia, trying to get everyones skills now that I've been putting it off forever....
After that, replaying on Unknown!
COD WAW muliplayer is very fun and getting afro samurai in the morning
The final Sniper Wolf cs on PS1 was one of the first moments where I realized video games were starting to become more than just games. They totally butchered that scene on the GCN version. When I turned the game off after that session I just never turned it on again.
Currently, I'm still digging pretty deeply into Fallout 3. I'm playing FFIV on the DS.
Fear 2. Almost to the end I think. I'm at the point now where I'm going to the reactor to find the amplifier thinger. Other than that I've been playing NHL 09 and enjoying a CoD 4 revival. Just hit another level of prestige.
Mario Galaxy and Gunstar Heroes. Amazing games.
I remember Gunstar Heroes. That game fucking rocked.
Pulled out the SNES a few days ago. Been playing Chrono Trigger.
Also me and my fiancee have been playing the Donkey Kong series again...
Castle Crashers!!!
Also playing FF4 DS at work. Working on perfect stats on third playthru.
Just downloaded a couple more DS games. Currently playing Trauma Center, it's pretty great. Definitely a bit strange but the whole surgery thing is pretty fun once you get the hang of it. Also playing Elite Beat Agents, which is fucking hilarious and fun as hell. I love the random dancing of all the characters, swinging their arms in the air like madmen. I keep wanting to pay attention to the top screen even though it kills me just because all the action up there is pretty funny.
