Ah, I see. I never heard of it before. Guess I'll just stick to playing the first one, then. I definitely missed out on a bunch of good GC games. Hell, I STILL need to play Viewtiful Joe. I have so much shit I just completely forget to play since I'm usually juggling like 10 games at once.
its the one where llyod(sp) is an evil dude according to the main character. ToS: Dawn of a new world is what its called.
Its a game of what happens after you end up merging the two worlds, and i think it was the tethallains that were prosecuted
I really should get back to Baiten Kaitos. I'm only a couple hours onto the second disc, and been mainly cocked block at a boss, where the game really doesn't fuck around, and all it takes it one bad hand of cards to lose the match.
Sucks when you get a full hand of weapon cards but you need two healing potions and a resurrect item.
I don't know if you played the first one or not, but I highly recommend you do. As much as I love Tales series, Dawn of the New World wasn't all that great >_>
Tales of Symphonia is definitely one of the better Tales of, IMO. All of the Tales game are pretty good, except that one that was pretty fail, don't remember the name, but I think Tales of Legendia.
Eh, I don't even think Legendia was that bad. Certainly a low point in the series though but still a decent game in its own right... just different.
I played Symphonia co-op style with my roomy in college, Was fantastic.
Oh btw, I found that place is red dead redemption for mad xp gain.
Pike's basin right outside the place the game starts out in.
3-5 min run giving me 1890 xp solo
and 1490 with a teammate when i die once. Having 2 people drastically speeds it up though, because one person can go down one branch and the other can go the other way.
Since we're sorta on the subject of Tales games... anyone know of any other games/series where there characters do the after-battle skits they do in some of the Tales games?

Just compared to all other Tales of, it just wasn't the same. I still played it of course, but just wasn't as good as most of the others. I honestly don't remember Legendia that well, don't even remember the main protagonist, but I'm gonna guess Senel. If that's not it, then I have no fucking clue. I really want to replay Destiny, though.
Rofl at the emo dude in the background.![]()
Skies of Arcadia is very very very very very good, incredibly amazing game. Definitely in my top 10, maybe even in my top 5.
I've been playing SC2 lately with irl friends ; ; so addicting, glad I shelled out the $60 for it. Really wanting to get back to Abyss soon, and, ah crap, backloggggg tooo much fuuuuuuuuuu ; ;
I can't think of any other but Graces, but you already posted that. I think I may have seen similar in Radiant Mythology 2, but not 100% sure. But I honestly don't think there's after battle skits in that one.
Is Skies of Arcadia a pretty decent length, Julian? Also, any side-quests, secret dungeons, or etc like that? That's definitely first thing I'm playing.
They have been doing them in Tales games for a while... just not as detailed as Tales of Graces. (as far back as Symphonia at the very least)
But I'm just looking for anything similar.
Example of one from an earlier game:

60-70 hours is just perfect. Definitely gonna play it non-stop when I get a chance to play.
@Domon I can't remember anything similar atm. I actually never seen that Legendia one before. I'm curious to see what others. Never really used all 3 Females at once in Tales before, except for a few, but don't remember any poses similar to those.
You get that by having all the girls (including Shirley during the time you can actually use her) and then taking off all their weapons and winning a fight.
There's others too, pretty much all the games from Symphonia on do it and I was just hoping that maybe there's another game or series of games that has that kinda stuff. I think it adds charm to the games and I really hope more games pick up tiny stuff like that.
Resonance of Fate has a pose that you can only do by equipping Leanne, Zephyr, and Vashyron with their full Paragon Outfit. I just wish RPGs added at least a few costumes to give some variety. I hate seeing the same outfit/costume for 40-60+ hours plus. This is what I loved about RoF, there were so many clothes you could buy and find to the point I coulnd't keep up anymore. Each character had their own wardrobe that you can customize what they wear. You could also save each outfit, too, and there were 2 different wardrobe sets for each character, 3 if you cont the special costumes from Neverland.
Yeah, I hope more games start adding in the little stuff like that. It makes a big difference for some people... like me of course.
I guess it depends on your view. To me NB was all over whereas the other games had a climb of getting harder and harder. For me the first stigma operation was a joke, the next one with the burn victim however drove me to insanity, then it got a bit easier, then harder, then easier.
Either way, trust me on Trauma Team being a lot of fun. Though somewhat easy.
Canceled my 14 preorder yesterday and got DQ9 and a 20$ PSN card with it.
I'm really loving DQ9 but I wish it had true online and not local ad hoc.
I couldn't decide between FF7,8 or 9 to get. So I decided to get Darkstalkers Chronicle: The Chaos Tower and FF9.
I haven't played a darkstalkers title in years but holy shit is it hard to combo on the psp.
