Played about an hour of Metroid: Other M and all it accomplished was me playing Super Metroid on my wii instead. And holy shit I was nowhere near the elusive 3-hour mark.

Was digging through a box of old PS2 games, decided to start up a new play through of DragonQuest 8. Didn't finish it the first time around, so hopefully will stick with it this time.
Whelp, nearly at the 40hr point in Disgaea 3, and I finally got my own pirate ship. Granted it's a shitty one that lasts two turns, but that's enough to run in and smack me some Statisicians until I get off my arse and get one with more turns allowed. Having some duping-goodness atm, got 300 managers so far <3.
I should be in easy-lvl mode in about another 10 hours, will take awhile to double those statisticians for the huge-ass XP boost 8 sets of them give. I should be laughing after that though and be omw to farming illegal tickets and working my way into the Land of Carnage. I just wish the pirates weren't such a barrier-mechanic for getting into the X-Dimension, when that shit looks like a joke (of the 3 I've done) with my current character levels.
On a side note, I feel bad for just learning about being able to change a character's facing direction this late into the series, along with the diagonal throw. <3'ing my Masked Hero though now that I pimped out his movement. 14 spaces per turn, and light enough that he basically warphacks up any vertical ledge in his path.
Going to be a pain in the ass finding items to store my item residents on when I transfer/combine them. ;/
[EDIT] Bloody hell, +1325% XP bonus is broken. Dinged 2000 from a fresh lvl1 reincarnation in under 10min.
>_> are you following a specific guide? is it the one posted on ps3trophies.org? See you go through with relative ease makes me want to legitimately try it...
Kinda interested too I guess, I got bored of disgaea3 cause it gave me headaches, but they weren't too bad, really want to pick it upa gain
I'm just mix & matching info between PS3T & GameFaq's guides, as well as Googlin' my own info. Granted I've yet to unlock more than some of the basic trophies. I'm more focusing on making my characters broken first as I'm aiming to get the Land of Carnage 1-100 item world trophy done first, as after that everything else should be a cinch.
I'm just had to taking it one step at a time since it involves a lot of grinding initially. I'm more or less in the duping stage, and will probably remain there for awhile until I have 32 sets of manager and statistician innocents to swap between items. After a little more grinding there, off to hunt more pirates and working my way to unlock the Land of Carnage, then from that point on XP/Mana gain is trivial since you get so fucking much of it in just 3-5 rounds of CoO4 apparently when you stack the Managers/Statisicians up on items that can support a population of 8. (which I've yet to find)
Not sure how long it'll take me to platinum at this rate, the endgame's pacing is odd as you work yourself up and off the grind train.
I have to say though, that I feel sad that no matter how 'broken' I feel my characters are in comparison to other SRPGs, they are not in the grand scheme of things since the post end-game shit nearly demands 1-million+ in all your stats. >.>
ive been struggling with demons souls and was wondering if anyone has a character around SL35 that can help me with 2-2 and maybe more if we have time. that game is so hard solo...
Picked up FF9 on my PSP and going to grab Mega Man 10 later tonight since I couldn't find a good/cheap game on Steam.
Forgot how fun FF9 was, although getting used to playing it on a PSP is a bit awkward at times due to the lack of the L2/R2 button.
Double post
how does it get around that? I seem to remember sidestep in silent hill 1 being mapped to R2/L2 but I forget how I got around that on my PSP lol
and I love the magic/skill system in FF9, it's probably why I liked Lost Odyssey's so much, since they're so similar
Default controls has analog nub's cardinal directions (up/down/left/right) mapped to the shoulder buttons.
Just finished Mafia II... Great story, but 11 and a half hours of gameplay is poor for £30-£40 ><;
Do you still need help? I have a second character at level 30 I believe that can slaughter anything and everything. I made her several months ago to kill random invaders for fun >.> But I think I have enough souls to level to like 100 at this point lol Can also kill any boss in a few hits if needed. Although that wouldn't be much fun.
Edit: Whoops Doublepost! D:
yes if you could help me get through some of the levels i would hella appreciate it. and how are people so strong at low levels! lol i cant do shit to anything in 2-2 i just get slapped around like a bitch. do i need to upgrade more shit? whats the best stat to raise to wear better armor as a mage?
I haven't played the game in a long time so I don't remember whats good for mages anymore >.> I just know my character has a crushing halberd +5 and Demonbrandt. I'll probably use the Halberd on bosses to avoid killing them too fast lol Add me on psn and I'll help you if you want. Just remember you have to be in body form and I'll be in soul form for you to summon me. Will probably take me abit to get used to this game again but it shouldn't be a problem.
yea i will add you when i get on for sure
5 best rappers of all time ^
i was actually about to make an avatar with Dylon(from the show) with the caption "Cause i spit HOT FIYA" in it lol
