To be fair, Frank the Pimp was some of the most fun I had with the game. It can be tough, but you only have to party up with them, technically they don't need to be saved. Plus, you get to kill off a ton of annoying survivors. I don't know what the Japanese word is for sledgehammer, but I introduced them to the term nonetheless.

Picked up a puzzle game on Steam called Chime, not bad for a quick time killer. However it's kinda meh overall.

Just finished Minerva's Den DLC, totally worth the 10 bucks and a great story. Halo on Monday night.

Blew through the RE5 DLC bundle the other day. For the $6 I paid (it's 50% off this until Tues/Weds), shit was fun, well worth my money. Going to play through them again a couple times for the trophies. I liked the dynamic between the two episodes. One being all about the action, and the other more on setting a mood and being more classic-RE in nature. (finding levers/crests, running from mobs, the mansion homage to RE1, etc)

Beat Bayonetta on normal, was fun but I am still pretty terrible at this. For whatever reason whenever I play this game stoned I do REALLY well, sober I get nothing but bronze/stone awards for stages lol. Only problem I have with this game is that it's kinda a dick about items, I mean why give you all these items if it's just going to penalize the shit out of you for using even 1? Anyway, time for grinding for halos and unlocking items. Guess I'll teach myself to get better so I can actually beat the harder difficulties and whatnot.

I probably won't even be able to play Kingdom Hearts until the end of next week so I might actually have time to squeeze in Dead Rising: Case Zero. Still need to wrap up the last achievement in ME2 too, playing the new DLC on insanity.

AND Gyromancer finally goes on sale on xbox live next week (for 10 instead of 15) so I'll probably be playing that a little as well.

edit: and dammit kyo, for making me want to buy Minerva's Den now too

It was actually a lot easier to get back into Disgaea 3 than I thought it would be. I'm 160+ hours in, but i believe 140 of those were with characters <level 120.

So as of right now my highest level is the obvious viper fighter at 2500, next highest is my one and only galaxy mage at 1150, then i have a small team of 600s-700s, a group of 200s, and everyone else is still under 120. I think on day 1 of me starting "pro play" i got my viper fighter to 700 from level 60. I did something alone the lines of:
1) Farm level 4 Corpse Eater to get viper fighter and mage to level 500.
2) Somehow finish House of Ordeals with low level characters.
3) Farm level 1 HoO4 until viper fighter was level 1000.
4) Make a 2nd cheerleader, make a masked fighter and a few slimes.
5) Run through item world in a crappy weapon until i found my first pirates and got their ship.
6) Grind a bit more exp (got everyone to the 200's that i liked.)
7) Reverse Pirate my crappy weapon until i finally got some statisticians.
8) Grinded a bit more until i had around 4 characters at 600+
9) Got my puppy paw stick.
10) Duped my "exp boots" that are full of statisticians and managers
11) Added 3 more to my 600+ team in the span of an hour.

So right now I have a pair of boots with 3 level 300 Managers (+900% mana?) and 2 level 300 statisticians(+600% exp?) and a nice team that is very easy to level. So i'm going through item worlds with their weapons and killing pirates which is a lot of fun.


Aside from that I got Dante's Inferno (i know i'm late) for my birthday and immediately started on hard and the game kicks my ass somethin' awful(i'm up to greed portions. and golden enemies are a bitch and a half on hard mode). It's fun and all, but since theres no trophy for beating the game on hard, i might go down to normal.

You manage to unlock Land of Carnage yet Hiryo? I've been stuck ever since I hit there. Lvl4k mobs capable of one-shotting my 9999s, isn't fun. The only thing I can think of doing at this point other than capturing some of the stronger mobs in the area is go for the rank 39 items. Not sure if those would help much though, but worth a shot I guess.

naw i havent gotten that far yet. I'm still doing the post game missions lol. Once i complete all of those (i just got the level 800 girl so i must be close to finishing.) I'll try to grind my current team to 1000.

Btw what do you have your statisticians in when you farm exp? Right now I have 2 300s in a pair of falcon shoes since you apparantly can't combine level 300s. Are you content with 1 item with all your exp gear on it or are you rocking 2-3 pieces of gear, all with multiple level 300 statisticians?

I had mine on a Legendary Testament that I took to floor 100 and upgraded to 8/8 population, and added +Movement onto.

You can get one from the nurse when you revive 300 members, but you need someone in the club for the hospital for the reward to show up as a Legendary.
(you just keep entering/exiting the menu where you take the reward until it shows up as a Legendary)

But yeah, Statis cap at 300, so the most on one piece you can have is 8 sets of them, so +2400% XP. I duped it a few times, and I usually rock three of them on one person for +7200% XP, and then my fist has 39,600 gladiators on it to boost the ATT so a lvl1 can easily take out the mobs in HoO4.

I'm currently trying to get a rank 39 fist so I can obtain the rank 40 fist from within it and then boost the fuck out of that with ATT/SPD-related innocents, but I'm having shit luck getting one from a chest via reverse pirating in the land of carnage.

Currently trying out the new Lord of the Rings F2P.. so far, I like the quest system. Also, trying to get back into EQ... been missing that game for far too long. Just something other than FFXI or WoW

demons souls on the other hand is pissing me off. still cant get through 2-2 for the life of me... im just gonna grind some mp pots and use magic to beat the entire level, melee doesn't work well as a mage lol

Currently playing Birth by Sleep, trying to 100% my current Critical Mode file, then I'll move on to lvl1 Critical Mode run. Birth by Sleep is gonna last me longer than I thought.

Don't know about any glitches in the game, but the only duping method I've tried that works is using the puppy paw stick on the dropouts in the Class World.

In other news, I'm still getting my arse handed to me, fucking rank 39 fist won't pop out of the chest even though I've found basically a rank 39 of every other item in the game. >.>

Almost sounds like the trouble I had finding a rank39 sword(forgot name) in IW for Yoshitsuna in D2DHD. I can't recall what I had hard time getting in D3, just been too fucking long since I touched it. But I literally spent a week looking for the shit till I finally came across one.

I forgot, but the ranks in Disgaea 3 are a bit different from the others, yea? I know there's something different but I forgot what that was as well, unless I'm thinking of something else.

Not sure how they differ since i never paid attention to them in the first two games (I didn't bother with post end-game content), but in #3, you could buy up to rank 30 items from the shop when you max out expensive stuff, and then from there it's all treasure drops or stolen from mobs. Rank 39 I'm getting via reverse pirating in the land of carnage with a thief that has the evility which raises chest contents up by one rank upon breaking, and from there having to steal the rank 40 variant from the Item God within the item world of the weapon.


After I get my fist, it's off to figure out what accessories are best to equip as well, and then off to a grueling farm session of min/maxing item residents to get the most out of the stuff. 19800x4 sprinters are going to be a bitch to get/dupe, along with Fist Fighters.
