I've seen people literally spam quickest chapter just to farm items for NSIC, mostly Yellow Lollipops since those make you invincible. I forgot about Angel Attack, lol, but I thought you could buy all items up to 9. It's definitely not needed for Hard, but I can why some people have to do this for NSIC. NSIC is a lot harder than DMD, IMO. I only died on NSIC if I fucked up, always kept Auto-Revive items handy since that's pretty much only item I used. I'd use Red Lollipop if I wanna super blitz through a chapter.

<3 Fucking up fighting Gracious and Glorious on NSIC, I'd get fucked up bad fighting more than one if I made a mistake, and I think in Lost Chapter you have to fight 3-4 at one time on one of the floors.

My solution was simply to abuse Pulley's Butterfly. It's how I got most of my PPs.

god, i remember the first time I fought gracious and glorious I was like EAT A DICK WHERE IS MY FUCKING WITCH TIME lol

Oh and finally beat Terra's story 100% in BBS... I should have waited til after I beat the main story to do that Keepers of the Arena challenge since you get 2 or 3 HP upgrades from doing the final boss (which was fantastically easy for me, at level 66, with vanish and shotlock). Just gotta do the 2 arena challenges you get from finishing aqua/ven and the level 30 one, but other than that it's on to Ventus' chapter now.

Taking a break from BBS for Deathspank: Thongs of Virtue tomorrow. Hopefully I can finish both to 100% by the time Dead Rising 2 comes out.

The Butterflies is my favorite accessory, I don't think I ever replaced it with anything else, that I can think of. I roled with Buttrflies and Moon of Blah-Blah on NSIC, it'd made NSIC a breeze pretty much. I still suck ass at trying to get combo points on NSIC without using Kilgore glitch, and sometimes it's even hard to do Kilgore glitch on NSIC, or so I heard. I know I tried it once and it didn't work out too well with getting combo points.

And I'm sorta taking a break from BbS as well. I'm trying to play PSP2 a bit more often now. I think I'ma put ClaDun on hold for a bit, although I really wanna play it.

Taunt freezes the combo gauge, which is helpful when you know when to use it, but has gotten me wrecked many times lol

The fucking block they do just midway through or at the start of your combo is fucking annoying, I didn't really know how to get around it much, why I had a lot of problems doing a PP run on NSIC. I pretty much had to resort using Kilgore to get combo points on NSIC, and even then you had to be careful of how you used it on there.

http://www36.atwiki.jp/to_graces/ (This one is a little better, in my opinion.)
Yeah... uh, Graces isn't so import friendly as you're making it out to be what with having to do things like go by Richard's window as children and other choke points you'd reach without knowing the game.

On the last disc of FF9 however I can't bring myself to play since I got a ton of stuff I need to do. Synthing weapons for abilities, raise a chocobo, catching frogs, etc.

I tried to find some free RPGs on the net, but most searches only bring up MMOs.

It was pretty damn easy to figure out for me without using any sites. If a city is blinking, you go in and talk to everybody(which isn't hard since most towns are pretty small.)

That Richard part was easy to figure out cause it was pretty obvious that Asbel's dad was taking them in, so where else would they go? And if I remember correctly, there's a guard in front of that room's door.

I dunno, it only took about 48 hours to beat it and that was with running around checking everything/talking to everybody to get the next scene.

I saw a few browser based RPGs that looked semi-decent on newgrounds but I'm not sure what's actually good

Frankly, that just means you're somewhat of an anomaly. Tons of people complained about that and several of other parts after being told the game is import friendly.
That aside, how often do you think people really pay attention to cutscenes they can't understand? I mean... really.

Yeah, that's true about paying attention.

I'll admit that I know a few random words/phrases, but none of that really helped with where to go next. But yeah, with those wiki sites out now, it should be much easier.

Whelp, that was a waste of.......7 hours? Finished beating Scott Pilgrim for the fourth time to unlock the hidden fifth character so I can nab my final trophy, and it appears the trophy glitched on me and refuses to unlock.

I honestly can't be arsed to delete my data and start from scratch again, so fuck it, game can stay 95% done on my trophy list for all I care. Nothing I hate more than bugged trophies.

Finished up Dead Space and gonna start on Prototype soon. DS was alright, but the camera angle made me dizzy as hell at certain points. Liked it, but doubt I'll get DS2.

I thought prototype was pretty good, but if you've played inFamous, don't expect the same type of game. Prototype is a "fuck up everything is bad as you can, all the time" kind of game with little variation. That said, I'd probably buy it for 5-10 dollars to try it again. I completed it when renting.

got back into Burnout Paradise(pretty much my favorite game on ps3) and Supreme Commander 2 skirmishes(pretty much the best rts I've played in the past few years). Contemplating getting serious sam HD on steam this weekend for nostalgia at $10.
