I thought prototype was pretty good, but if you've played inFamous, don't expect the same type of game. Prototype is a "fuck up everything is bad as you can, all the time" kind of game with little variation. That said, I'd probably buy it for 5-10 dollars to try it again. I completed it when renting.

When those two games came out I thought it was poor timing on the part of infamous to compete with the multi-platform prototype. For some reason prototype got avg reviews and infamouse got good reviews. I was very unimpressed with infamous personally, wasn't too impressed with prototype either but liked it quite a bit more than infamous.

I thought Prototype was exactly what Abandon said, nothing more. Infamous on the other hand, I loved. One of my favorite games ever.

Speaking of Burnout, I still need the trophy for meet-up in the stadium, though I doubt I can get 7 other people to do it. If I had that, I'd probably go for the Platinum.

Best way to do it is to be the host, and initiate the freeplay challenge for 8-players (when they're all in) to meet at the stadium. Took me awhile to get that one, along with the 'Ride 10 miles on a bike in an 8 player lobby' add-on trophy.

Speaking of trophies, FUCK BLAZBLUE CS. Argh, wasted two hours trying to beat Score Attack again. It's like hitting your head against a brick wall once you hit unlimited hakumen/hazama. Cheating-ass mindreading AI.....


Now that that's out of the way, back to playing GTA4.....been taking my sweet time progressing in this one.

Whelp, that was a waste of.......7 hours? Finished beating Scott Pilgrim for the fourth time to unlock the hidden fifth character so I can nab my final trophy, and it appears the trophy glitched on me and refuses to unlock.

I honestly can't be arsed to delete my data and start from scratch again, so fuck it, game can stay 95% done on my trophy list for all I care. Nothing I hate more than bugged trophies.

I defeated add-on chars as well and still cannot use them. In fact, my ps3 has started to have HDD issues starting with my DL of the SP demo (slow reaction times in the PS store and especially the Scott Pilgrim game music and menues). I have the backwards compatible 80 gb and I'm contemplating selling if it will equal swap for a slim with a larger HDD. I only wanted backwards compatibility for Guitar Hero, but the ps2 versions won't work with a ps3 guitar...

Beat Other M a few days ago, which made me want to play Metroid 3, which made me want to play Metroid Fusion, then Metroid Zero Mission lol. Now that I got all of those out of the way, I started playing ToV again to get the Platinum. I'm just missing a few annoying trophies like All Titles, Complete Monster Book(97%) and Complete Collector's Book(99% Missing 4 items. 3 Attachments from the Bunny Guild which requires almost all Titles, and 1 from the PS3 only NPC that combines Attachments to make new ones.)

Trying to get back into osu!, but multiplayer trends change so much I have no clue what to download song wise. And just like any online game there's usually some pricks around that will kick you without warning if you don't have the songs downloaded.

that's funny, I've been playing through EBA over the past week or two. since I got a new Cyclo I'm playing through old games whose save files I lost, got up to "let's dance" and "the anthem" on 3-star mode and gave it a bit of a break. didn't know Ouendan had an online multiplayer mode... nor that you could download songs o.O

speaking of my Cyclo, just got a Class 6 8GB micro sdhc card in the mail and ohhhhhh fuck does it make a difference. not on most games, but on the few that have slowdown like Order of Ecclesia and Tales of Hearts it completely eliminates any problems. actually that's going to make ToH a little harder >_> those slowdown moments were kinda helpful in hectic battles lol.

now I need to load it up with games, since 8GB will hold quite a lot. want to try out Etrian Odyssey III but I hear it has some issues so I'll probably wait for a hacked rom or firmware update.

EDIT SOME MORE! Looks like you may be referring to Etrian locking up when you return from sailing? Figures, I stopped just short of doing that part the other day. I have read ONE person saying that if they zoom all the way in on the minimap during that part, it will not freeze most of the time.

osu! is a fan game based on EBA/Ouendan. Kind of like those Stepmania games where anyone can make their own tracks for it. Has a fucking ton of tracks available at this point, so definitely worth checking out if you like EBA. I just suck dick at using the mouse compared to the DS gameplay.

admittedly I haven't tried it yet but I've heard of that sailing thing, and also that the game freezes when you use certain attacks. I'd try it out anyway but there are literally dozens of games I could play first, I'm in no rush to get into EO3 if it's buggy, or even if it's not. I have sooo much to keep me busy until any potential kinks are ironed out.

Yeah, osu! is pretty fun, though I do the Taiko mode which is the drum mode. Shit's a ton of fun to play. Real nice to jump on, do a few songs, and hop off.

Sorry about not mentioning that. Osu! is a fan made game that plays like Ouendan/EBA games. The other modes (Taiko and Catch the Beat) are pretty fun to play to for something out of the ordinary. If you do play it, I highly suggest you have an optical mouse and a good mouse pad. Since some of the beatmaps are pretty intense.

Though yeah, if you ever try Yuri it's well worth it. Multiplayer is fun since there's 4 game modes for it. However like I said before, just need to be careful with who you play with since it's somewhat common to be booted for a room for not having the songs already downloaded.

Also Akiyama, what are the rules to Taiko exactly? I always seem to fail during the segment breaks.


Anyway speaking of Ouendan I've been trying to get the last rank in Ouendan 2. (Need a total of 100,000,000 points, I'm at 91,391,927) However I can't get a perfect in Countdown.

Just finished Prototype. It was alright, nothing too spectacular. Feels like they just made certain parts of it hard just for the hell of it. And not the challenging type of hard, it's the stupidly frustrating type of hard. Now, I'm not sure what to move on to next. I've got MGS4, FFXIII, Red Dead, and Blur sitting on the shelf. Any suggestions?

i didnt send my game back to gamefly soon enough so they didnt send dead rising 2, so now idk what i want to get... i put spider man on my list since it just went up to medium, but i might just wait for fallout new vegas. it sucks because im moving out of my house and i wont have an HDTV for a while :/
