And damn, I knocked out more trophies than I thought I would on first playthrough, I wasn't eve trying to go for them, but I did do all alfheim challenges I remembered, and luckily I remembered where all Tombstones were, so got that Trophy at Chap 15 from finding last one.

quick question about Star Wars Force Unleashed 1 trophies. All I have left is Force Grip Mastery and Force Repulse Mastery. Doing the Prologue wookie killing thing, and I just want to be certain that throwing/repulsing Wookies off the bridge to kill them counts as a grip and repulse kill, or just as a "fall to their death" kind of kill.

Vanitas at peter pan's world? Rely on magic(fire) and spam cartwheel until you have an opening. When he burrows underground he can kill you instantly so cartwheel the fuck away until he quits.

You can ignite, stun, freeze, poison, sleep, and zero gravity him too.

Vanitas leaves himself pretty open often and Aqua specializes in magic, my only 'real' advice is not to use Triple Firaga/Blizzaga because the cast animation is longer than for some other moves since she fires off 3 because he likes to teleport + counter on a lot of hits and use Aero spells if there's an opening and you're next to him, if he actually gets caught in it you can use something on him, else continue to Cartwheel.
...And there's literally nothing in the game that can catch you during cartwheel spam unless you mess up. I've even Cartwheel spammed through the fullscreen attack from Aqua's final boss. It's just so ridiculous.

Lol, fuck my life... spent all that time getting Healing Paradise on 9 Cheerleaders, getting my combo to 256 with Flonne, and I fucking used Power of Love without using Magic Wall on Flonne first... shit did 9.8~ Bil damage, so close to 10bil damage trophy. Time to spend 20min boosting my combo back up to 256 and hope Magic Wall gives me enough RES to break 10bil, on bright side, this Trophy is actually pretty damn easy to get, don't even need a super buff Flonne to get if doing Reverse Healing way.

And man, Ayane is weak as fuck in Sigma 2, but I'm still gonna use her for Team Missions

Finally got my fucking Disgaea 3 Platinum, no DLC or loading my near maxed out save file from before the patch, started out completely from scratch and it took 167 hours, which is longer than I expected.

My Power of Love went from 9,8bil to 17.2bil.

Flonne(10000 stored levels), lvl9999
8-9 Cheerleaders with Healing Paradise Evilty, and it's on Flonne as well
+9 lvl1 Magic Wall buff

With all of that it did 17.2~billion damage. I didn't have to grind my Flonne at all or grind RES items for her, I used my equipment that was on Mao, which was Perfect Cosmos Infinity, 3 Perfect Traps with 3 Movement bills passed. Innocents that were in items were 30x 19998 Sprinters, 500 Fist Fighter, 500 Guardian.

Managed to force a completed save with maxed-out dudes work pass the trophy security-check after I took the save and had the game re-save it.

I just don't have the time nor patience to farm all the innocents, especially with the current games on my to-play list. Props to you though for basically doing it all twice.


I swear I'm doing to do Disgaea 4's platinum legit. Well, assuming they're not complete bullshit/rely on hours of online-grinding. Can't stand trophies that rely on other players being active to obtain.

[EDIT2] Double holy fucking shit. You weren't joking about hoping for an invincibility tile on the LoC Pirates. 10Gents managed to take out two of the strongest units in this save even though their stats are miles above and beyond what the Gents had.

Looks like it'll still take quite a few hours for me to get the platinum on this. From the look of things of which I can find, this save will only assist me with LoC-related trophies. The rest I've either already done, or will be doing on my own data due to them being gimmicky in nature and requiring specific setups (eg. 10bil damage, the throwing one, ......finding that fucking Cat Tower again, etc)

This data overall is actually pretty shitty aside from the captured OP mob units. Even my Mao is built better. Oh well, beggers can't be choosers.


Any advice for Reverse Viking btw? I have no idea how I'm going to set things up so I can actually throw that many chests/innocents onto the boat within time. Only thing I know is to use that big-ass ship so you actually have room to toss things onto.

I got lucky as shit with Reverse Viking, I kept getting easy maps to loot all shit on ship in 3 turns. I used War Galleon ship since it's the biggest and makes getting everything on much easier. You'll need a couple of Slimes, doesn't matter what tier, and you'll need a couple of cheerleaders as well. You'll want some shoes for your slimes so you can move them further and place them easier. The cheerleaders you use to boost Move Up and Throwing Range, cast these 2 on all your characters. Items can bounce of slimes head, the number of tiles it can bounce to depends on it's throwing number, that's where cheerleaders come in to help move items to ship easier and quicker.

I used 2 Cheerleaders, and about 3 Slimes, IIRC. My main guys had movement around 18-24 at the time I believe. Make sure enemies don't kill Slimes, chests, or spheres. I'd have one or two units kill of a few enemies if possible, it helps wonders. Important thing to note is, make sure your Slimes are facing the direction towards the ship

If I stick to reverse pirating lvl20 I'm guessing I can easily get a couple slimes to leech XP off of my Mao to keep themselves alive easily on a weak item.


Going to get on that and the other crap once I finish LoC pirates with this data, then back to doing things legit.
(LoC was a brick-wall for me, took the fun out of things due to the insane amount of grinding/innocent duping involved)

Depending on the map, you may not even need items to keep your slimes alive, you can put Slimes out so items can bounce off their head onto the ship, then put them back into base panel, that doesn't count as a action for them, so it's pretty nice. That's what I did, I just put duped testaments I had left over on my lvl1 slimes, but none of them every took damage since I didn't have to end a turn with them out. To change slimes position they face, select them and hold [] then use stick to turn them in direction you want them in, this is one of the most important things of all. Also why Shoes help wonders for slimes over DEF items, you can move them to nice rance to bounce shit off their heads, then put them back into base panel, also reason why few extra slimes are recommended to make incase a few die, but I only used 3 and never had to leave them out for a turn. Just make sure you're all set before resetting and reloading over and over 'til you find good map for reverse pirating/viking

Double post since I'm on my PS3. But yeah, I don't blame you, my friend is thinking of doing same thing and using someone elses save to get the Platinum, even you do that, it still takes a bit of work and patience, Pirates are a massive pain in the ass and are worse trophies to get, imo, at least the silver ones. It took me 3-4 days without about 6-8 hours total just to fucking find Baal Pirates, ran into 10Gents AND Prinny Pirates on same map once, shit pissed me off so much. Baal Pirates are absolutely ruthless, even in a low rank item, I'd only look for them when I can actually kill them, relying on invincibility panel and Baal Pirates are just too damn slim. Reverse Viking can also be a pain in the ass, and 10 bil damage as well without DLC, but not soso much. Silver Trophy Shop you'll eventually run into while looking for 91-99 pirates, same for Axel Rose

Makes me curious if the game will accept a save data with DLC characters already on it even if I don't own them. Something to test later I guess, since I wouldn't mind the shortcut means of 10bil dmg.

But yeah, aside from the silver-trophy pirates (which I'm working on atm, already got the rest), this game has some really annoying bronzes compared to the majority of single-player focused PS3 games. Says a lot about a game when you only have a single bronze trophy after you beat the main storyline.

Axel Rose and 10 Block Combo are 2 Bronze I hated the most, setting up 10 Block Combo was really annoying, I fucked it up twice and to repeat process all over again. Obey the Cat God can be annoying as well, I always keep 1 person in Birdman club so I can jump the maximum height. Out of all my Item World runs, I only ran into Axel once, and that was while going for Baal Pirates

I don't even know how to set up the 10 Block one. I know you have to use the story mission in chapter 2, but you can't even pick up half the blocks.

You have to destroy a lot of blocks to throw around and set up, stack it yellow or red on top, and other on bottom.

Picked up Borderlands GOTY for $39 today for my PS3, and aside from being absolutely pissed that they didn't even bother to include the DLC on the disc itself (it's a fucking BluRay, make use of it like Bethesda did for FO3:GOTY -.-), I may as well ask here while I'm downloading 4.4gb of shit: Anything I should know about stepping into the game as far as missables go?

I know the game is trophy-friendly (aside from some glitched ones in the DLC), but I'm assuming in a game like this there are hidden one-time goodies scattered about for uber weapons and stuff.


How friendly is the local co-op btw? Tempted to see if my sis wants to play, wondering if it allows hopping in/out freely and whether or not mobs scale based on our levels.
