Same writer did both I believe. Beat the game recently myself, great little story. I did wish though that it had a mission-based mode unrelated to the story which focused more on the gameplay aspect of "Getting from Point A -> B", which I felt was under-utilized in the story since it was heavily plot-driven.
As for me, picked up Resistance Retribution from EB Games the other day since it was on sale (first PSP game I bought since God of War:CoO >.>). Very well enjoying it. Probably liking it more than Resistance 2 at this point in time as the game feels more like the original in terms of plot and setting, as well as it having the weapon wheel which I missed sorely in R2.
Granted I kinda have the game on easy-mode as I infected the game via R2 on the PS3 so I have access to my fav gun from it (the revolver w/ exploding bullets) as well as accessing additional intel, but it turns on auto-regenerating health. I mean, it makes sense as far as the story goes for the Resistance series, but the game doesn't adjust the difficulty at all to accommodate not needing to make a mad dash for a health pack (in fact, they're turned off completely when infected) when things are getting tight.
Game looks and handles fantastic as far as most PSP games go, and I wasn't expecting any less from these devs as they were also the ones responsible for the Syphon Filters which I enjoyed immensely.
I just finished Ending 'A' in Nier, will get the others here in the next week or so hopefully. I thought it was a good game though, definitely not deserving of all the negative reviews. I'm also starting to work on Bioshock now since I have Bioshock 2 also waiting in my backlog.
Played through Xenosaga Episode 1 with people watching. Took me 30 hours to get through the story with minimal distractions.(I guess thats bad? Probably 4 hours of cutscenes, so 25ish hours of actual gameplay?)
Starting up #2 reminds me of just how much of a horror the changes were. Don't get me wrong, I still enjoy the battle system and story, but all we do is laugh at MOMO's new voice actor, and that kills some of the credibility lol. Oh well, 30 hours of that and we'll move on to #3.
Almost done acing levels in LBP2. Not too difficult seeing as you get an HP bar in some of the vehicle levels. Then I can go on my creation spree and try to draw out/record some of the crap I've come up with.
Then I'm still playing the first playthrough of New Vegas(still on hardcore) and I'm so stuck. I'm only level 9 and everywhere I go is overrun by bullcrap. I wanna go north? Mutants. East? Deathclaws. South? Glowing Ones. And I can't kill any of them because the only shop I have access to is Goodsprings.
What area are you hitting where you run into Glowing Ones? I can't recall any between Goodsprings and Primm or Novac.
Basically, you want to get to Primm and unlock ED-E. Then, work your way to Novac to recruit Boone. They'll help with killing shit and are great for early-mid game. Far to the Southwest is the Mojave Outpost. It's a decent spot for exp and weapons early on as well if you haven't pissed off the NCR. The Ranger there has a 100 repair skill.
C9. Anyone playing this?

Right now I traveled pretty far north since I assumed I can explore early game like i did in Fallout 3. So right now I'm at black mountain.

Down here at Camp Searchlight is where things are also not dying lol. I guess I should use a guide more often. I did forget about that broken robot in Primm, so I guess i'll do that. Just the roads to Novac always has Deathclaws and I can't pierce that defense. At least not yet?
Black Mountain at 9? Impressive, but yeah... you're pretty fucked there. If you can manage to get to the top and fix Rhonda or kill Tabbatha though, there's more weaponry in there then you can carry. The centaurs are a pain though.
You can avoid Searchlight if you go around it to the north. Going east past it will take you into Legion territory though.
I would try to fast travel to Primm, and work through Nelson to Novac I guess.
almost done with level 1 cap hard game of Order of Ecclesia (with all boss medals, of course). Death took forever, but nothing else is as hard as you'd think, as long as you know what you're doing.
in other news, I'm already pissed off at Final Fantasy: 4 Heroes. I beat the first two bosses but now I'm wandering through some desert and there are enemies that can poison me and I CAN'T EVEN BUY ANTIDOTES YET WTF? this game isn't kidding around.
quit playing Morrowind for now since I quit smoking weed. the game just isn't the same if I'm not blazed off my ass. I'm sure I'll get back into it at some point.
otherwise, just killing time until MvC3.
Trust me, I can't do shit there. Thanks for the advice though. :D
Playing Tales of Legendia still and it makes me sad that they can't retroactively add this move on to my game disc.
Captain Falcon ain't got shit on Senel.
Been bouncing back between WKC and LBP2 till HN releases... Made a 2nd avatar to get to GR15 again on WKC, so I have something to keep me busy on that again for awhile, even though I can get GR15 gear at GR12 now. Having alot of fun with LBP2, mostly only get on when few friends playing as well, but even solo it's pretty fun. Me and friend Aced final boss last night, was pretty easy, but can also glitch trying to Ace it which sucks, but the glitch doesn't occur till beginning, so not too bad.
I think I'ma pick up NUNS2 and NFS this week or next week, maybe Strikeforce too.
GF suggested that I play Chrono cross and I'm loving it. Never played trigger or cross but I wish I would have now.

somehow I missed 1 of the 10 trophy hunts in the first chapter of The Witcher so I can't get the best Silver Sword at the end of the game. I fucking love this game so much, I am definitely going to be playing again to experience the other factions and whatnot.
Also Dead Space 2 of course
I still need to write up my Morrowind article but I think I'm still processing the 200 hours I dumped into it lol
