Just remember enemies respawn... there is a bunch of shortcuts that half "save" your progress like that though, yeah.

Beat the spider. Really easy once I fully knew how to.
does anyone know of a guide of upgrading weapons/armor?
I'd like to know what I'll ultimately be getting since there's like 4 options for me to upgrade into for my weapon right now.
http://demonssouls.wikidot.com/weapons Not sure how good this is since I used the guide that came with the limited edition for weapons. But it should have most of the info.
Been going through some ps2 games I've missed over the years with help from that massive pic #s posted years ago
Spoiler: show
Recently started out Ico & Shadow of the Colossus. Wow did I really miss out back then. Gorgeous games even till this day. Love the simple interface and cinema appearance. Should I play Ico first then SotC or are they complete different games? Just from the same development team I guess?
Also Ico's really a romantic game if you think about it. Guy and girl alone in massive castle surrounded in beautiful scenery. Guy helping girl and willing to do anything for her.
Soul Calibur3, tekken5, red faction2, silent hill 4 are all pretty terrible.
and metal gear solid 3 isnt on that list! edit: nvm yes it is, I just didnt notice the different cover.
Demons Souls
Spoiler: show
Xenoblade on the laptop.
Menu and some items translated, running around 20-29 frames most of the time which is bearable. I just really wanted to check it out and hope like hell that a NA release is not too far behind the EUR release. The music is amazing and... I get the impression that the story isn't bad either. =P
playing Phantasy Star IV for the first time, just reached Dezolis.
gonna pick up a copy of Raiden III tonight if I can make it to the store before it closes. it's only $6, can't pass it up. of course it will probably get the "Ikaruga treatment" - beat the first few worlds, die a lot, give up - but it'll be fun while it lasts.
Not entirely related, but i have been contemplating buying a katamari damacy game, and there are alot of different versions and from what i read they're not all too different from each other. Since i have a backward compatible ps3 i can play all of them but the xbox one, so i was wondering which version is the best for someone new to the series?
Katamari Forever for the PS3 is best bang for your buck, as it's essentially a 'best of' game which takes a selection of levels from all previous Katamari games. It's also $17 on Amazon.com currently, which is hard to beat.
The only real annoyance I had with it was that all the King of Cosmo levels are done in greyscale for the first playthrough because the devs figured remembering memories and other stuff warrants it. ;/
1st stages of 1-4 complete. just 5-1 left and then on to the 2nd stages.
Hope my attributes are fine. I was just mostly going into endurance and strength, but then I discovered how awesome magic was and I had to put a few levels into Magic stuff.
If you don't get the Tactical Leader title/costume, then you aren't finished with the game.
EDIT: Also, there's hidden extensions to certain moves that the game doesn't tell you anything about on your 2nd (and beyond) playthrough.
Anytime you do Radiant Howl when Ion's with you, hold X and see what happens!
EDIT again: Also... all characters get a new mystic arte on new game+.

Anise does not have any special conditions. Consider it free damage every time you use Final Fury.
So ever since learning magic in Demon's Souls, every boss fight has been a 1 sided fight with no risk of dying for me. Adjudicator, Leechmonger, Tower Knight, all went down without hitting me Fool's Idol would have probably too, but she was incredibly easy enough with no magic. Is it going to be the same for all the bosses?
btw where's the purple flame shield? I looked and couldn't find it in 1-1. I assume it's in a Pure White access only area?
aaaaaand I was just killed by my 1st Black Phantom. I got the message a Black Phantom had entered, he immediately was right behind me and took 90% of my health in 1 hit, then killed me and put me in spirit form. huzzah
I can't remember the specifics, but it's out in an open area that the two dragons lay about in at the start of the game. Pure White does have them disappear from that location, although you can brute force them out of there if you've not killed them in 1-2/1-4. Basically, in the area in 1-1 where a red dragon would come out and roast everything on the bridge, there's a location just back a wee bit where if you take a left instead, it'll lead to that aforementioned outdoor location.
yeah, I know what you're talking about. way down the steps theres the outside area with the 2 dragons sitting around. I can see 4 treasures there, but I never went out there because I assumed I'd just get killed by the dragons there.
another question;
What makes the crystal lizards reappear?
I've only killed 1 so far but I keep seeing ones I missed reappear in a seemingly random fashion. Just got to the part in 2-2 where you see like 6 of them and I didn't manage to kill a single one ; ;
