It's always more fun to take people literally.

oh wow. LBP's 1st level boss fight stage uses a Nightwish song. very unexpected lol
rediscovered the joy of MAME recently
rainbow islands, strider, bubble bobble, raiden, r-type, oh my god I'm in heaven
Dungeons & Dragons Shadow Over Mysteria (I think that's the name of it) fantastic game. The original is okay, but the second one is where it's at. I used to plunk so many quarters in it.
The Simpsons, Narc, Turtles in Time, Super Off Road are a few I can think of.
So I picked up Duodecim a few days ago, and I just started playing it for reals tonight. I'm on Kains chapter, and holy bejeezuz can that guy fight.
I'm also downloading Grand Theft Auto IV on steam, I bought it a while ago but it didn't really run well on my laptop. I'm using the same laptop but i'm going to try and play with the settings and see if I can get it to run favorably. Actually if anyone has any experience with GTA and wants to give me a few pointers i'd be infinitely happy.
If I can't get GTAIV to run decently on my pc i'll probably pick it up for PS3 when I get paid. It's like $10 used at Gamestop.
Still playing Unlimited SaGa. I'm almost at the end of Ventus's quest. Fuck this game. Seriously. Once I finish it, I'm putting it as a line on my resume.
Also, I was originally going to pass up on Z2 (I still haven't played Z1), but from what my best friend tells me, it's the best SRW in ages. ..Really should get back to my Japanese studies.
And Endless Frontier is good stuff. I wish they'd bring the second one here.
Z2 does look fucking amazing, and I really want to play it, but the story for me is just as big as the gameplay for me
Playing mostly Dungeon Hunter Alliance and MvC3 at the moment, with God Eater Burst here and there. Still debating if I even wanna try and play T3B. Might just skip that shit and finally start playing Duodecim.
Picked up Rock Band 3 for a twenty since my local Wally was out of PS3 copies of Portal 2. All I can say about Rock Band 3, is 'fuck'.
Why? It's the game Rock Band 2 should have been, as it's streamlined all the controller management hell from the prior entries, and also because I'm no longer living near my friends who actually know how to play rhythm games, who have likely lost interest in them at this point in time anyway. There's also a bit of song overlap in this from GH1/2 which I'm dinging them for anyways because Harmonix produced those two.
Will at least go through the entire setlist and do as many of the goals as I can, at least it's not as remotely tedious looking as spamming set lists in RB2's career mode. Will see from that point if I want to invest $50 into the MIDI adapter so I can play using my midi keyboard. RB3 is not a bad game, but its timing is really unfortunate, which I'll put the blame on Activision for thanks to their extreme over-saturation of GH titles in the last four years.
I also really need to take a break from FFXI, I've still yet to load up Bioshock 2 or Darksiders once.
So, going home in a few days, got a few months of nothing, thank god finally a break from 2 years of 14-16 credit hours nonstop with at most like a few 2 week breaks tops here and there.
I have a huuuuuuuge backlog, wondering where I should start... D:
I know I've posted about it 3 times or so already, but I finished Unlimited SaGa last night.
At least for Ventus, dumbest ending ever (not quite as bad as Blue's from SaGa Frontier). Whatever. I finished it. Yes it was with one character, but it counts, damn it.
Any clue what this game is? Or is it just some teasingly awesome picture?![]()
Those are FFT characters, but looks like a fan made picture that's trying to make it look like a different kind of game. The formation reminds me of Valkyrie Profile.
So, Demon's Souls...
I'm trying to get Pure White character tendency, but is the only way to increase white tendency to kill invading Black Phantom players?
From what the wiki is telling me, killing Player Black Phantoms and Named Black Phantoms is the only way to increase white character tendency, but I've only had Player BPs appear twice in my 60hours of playing, and Named AI BPs only appear in Black Tendency areas, and to get an area into Black Tendency usually requires me to do things that'll put myself closer to black character tendency.
I just need Pure White so I can get the friendship ring :/
still playing Radiant Historia. shit's awesome.
also playing some Raiden III for when I need to have my ass handed to me on a silver platter.
and of course, I always have time to spare for Rainbow Islands. trying to see how high of a score I can get.
