Dying is just world tendency.
Playing Mass Effect. Would be doing co-op on Portal 2, but looks like I'll have to wait a few more days.
Just picked up Tales of Vesperia and Resonance of Fate on amazon for $19 dollars each. I was always hoping they were eventually going to release the tales on ps3 here, but i guess not.
Demon's Souls:
Foe's Ring, Pureblood x2, Hero, Yellow x2, Storm, Hard, Dragon Souls, Blind, Bramd, Istarelle, Dragon Bone Smasher, Talisman of Beasts, and a bunch of miscellaneous crafting stones is all I need now. Marrowstones will probably be the biggest pain in the ass.
on NG++ now, I should beable to get everything except for the extra Pureblood and Yellow Souls on this playthrough, then all I'll need to do for my 4th playthrough is beat 1-1, then all of worlds 3 and 5. oh... and also 4-1 because I'll need to rescue Freke from 4-2
I started playing Jeanne D'Arc a few days ago. I want to like this game but I don't know. There is potential here. I'm personally not a fan of people outside of battle getting exp. While it is nice for some things, it's annoying when you're trying to get everyone to equal level.
I liked the level system in it, but granted I like going through the story without having to grind additional characters up just because they weren't in combat. Transforming in the game is also horribly broken, but it's fucking fun just plowing through 5+ monsters in one turn.
As for me, been going through my lot of GBA games lately. Was thinking of 100%ing Yoshi's Island, but FUCK those unlockable stages are brutal.
Also put 6 hours into FF2: Soul of Rebirth chapter. Pissing me off because I spent all those hours grinding because mobs in the unknown tower just raped me prior. Started off with <1k HP on each character except Ricard who had 2k. Now they're all at 4-5k HP, and mobs still proving to be annoying, with some even hitting for 1k+ dmg, and this is with the best crap I could buy from town. I just can't tell if it was intentional for you to slowly grind through this chapter to abuse its broken levelling system, or that the devs expected you to level up these side-characters a fair bit during the story of FF2, since it takes their stats from your clear save of the core game.
I have been looking at GBA games to play with as well (Mainly to have games to play on my phone) and how is FF2 on? It is the only Final Fantasy I have never played some of at least. Mind if I ask what other GBA games ya going though?
As for myself, Portal 2, M&M: Clash of Heroes, and Eternal Sonata mostly... Beat the first 2, kind of lost steam on Eternal Sonata.
Since there isn't shit releasing till June for me, and PSN still being down, I just been playing some random MMO called Elsword my friend told me to check out while PSN down... I guess it's ok for a time killer for the time being, until I find a new PS3 game to gamefly, still can't decide on what to get, but thinking of trying out BB:CS for a bit, then maybe finally move on to Nier.
Still slowly playing GEB on the side, I really need to finally finish this shit, been slacking for over a fucking month now due to being busy with other games. I still can't find the motivation to play Duodecim still, was hyped for that shit at first, then easily lost interest around the time of release... I wanna get back into finally playing shit on my PSP, but I hardly have time to play it anymore due to being busy playing other shit.
EDIT: double post
Finished Miles Edgeworth: Ace Attorney Investigations. Pretty fun and loved how how deep the story got when you got to the final case.
Too bad Capcom said they currently have no plans to localize Ace Attorney Investigations 2.
Hopefully. The main reason is they predict the cost to translate will be greater than the profit. I know a Capcom rep has been discussing it with the community.
As for Apollo/Phoenix, the game took place before Phoenix was disbarred so that explains the lack of Apollo. However Phoenix does make some clever cameos, although I do know what you mean about it sucks not being able to interact with him.
Been playing The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky. So far this has honestly been the best jrpg I've played on any handheld. One of the strongest points I've noticed that I think alot of jrpgs recently lack is the character development and interaction. Both are top notch.
I've been playing through it ever so slowly myself. Keep being distracted by other games, but I'm in no rush to finish it. The second game in the trilogy is apparently twice as big, so it's gonna take ages for them to localize anyway... Apparently it was originally made as 2 games, so hopefully waiting for the 3rd won't be quite as painful if the story has a decent conclusion.
Trying to get back into Mirror's Edge for the platinum now that I finished Bayonetta(thanks to no PSN). I used to be good at the game and now I'm just garbage. I feel like I try to do things that everyone else can do with easy but it just won't work for me. And having no ghosts to run behind kind of sucks, I have to watch youtube for this crap.
Took a break from Demon's Souls (DS) to finally finish Dead Space 2 and Extraction. After, I'll come back to DS to finish a pending game+. I already beat it @ level 37 (False King delvld me to 35) and plan to beat it for the second time w/o leveling up beyond 37. My friends say it's almost impossible, I don't think so.
I'm tempted to try it without leveling up at all. After I platinum it that is.
Spoiler: show
It sounds incredibly possible on 1st playthrough.
I'm on NG++, all of world 2 beat, all of world 5 beat, up to world 1-3 beat, just world 3 and 4 left, but I'm stuck on world 4... I ended up with pure black world tendancy and BP Samurai dude keeps kicking my ass bad. I need to buy some Soul Remains, but the only guy who sells them is past the BP :/
Yeah... fuck BP Satsuki. got him down to 5% health and he ate an herb and restored to full then ohko'd me in human form.
Beat that mother fucker after like an hour or experimenting with different set-ups. Meat Cleaver, Cleaver Cat Ring, Light Enchantment. 1 swing knocks him to the ground, just swing again right as he stands up and it'll knock him down again. Repeat 7 times.
