Finished off Portal 2 sp, so I fired up Fable 2. I enjoyed 3 and everyone says 2 is better so I figured I'd give it a shot.

Been playing Moon Diver on 360. Definitely makes me wish Capcom would make another Strider game.

lol god, fuck Black Sigil. I think I got maybe an hour in before I gave a resounding "fuck this shit" and started something else.

With that said, finished Ghost Trick and Radiant Historia back-to-back recently that has left me in a conflicting "I love my DS"/"are these the last good games ever" mood. Holding out for the Blood of Bahamut translation right now but I really wish I had a solid SRPG to jump on. Played the fuck out of Valkyrie Plumefile and Advanced Wars, but I can't come up with what else is left.

Other than that I played the balls out of Borderlands last week and kind of want to jump on the DLC now.

Pretty much what I said myself. I would have been able to deal with the encounter rate if the battle mode wasn't so god damn fucking slow also.

Been playing some more Tomb Raider Legends in the PS3 Trilogy release lately, quite enjoying it. Last Tomb Raider experience I had was Angel of Darkness, and this is a pretty fucking large upgrade over that, and I almost prefer it over the PSX Tomb Raiders, if only thanks to its proper checkpointing, rather than the limited-save crystal BS.

I endured Black Sigil until half way through the game where they decided to space out save points with 2 hours of dungeon between them while also leaving the game buggy enough where it would freeze every hour to a hour and a half. I lost so much progress that I ended up sending them hate mail for making a shitty game.

You mentioned VP and AW for SRPGs but did you try FFTA2? That is still my favorite SRPG on the DS and I put over 300 hours into it easily.

Yeaaaah, I liked that as well, didn't think to mention it because I'm generally angry at "Tactics Advance" not being labeled appropriately as "Tactics Lite" but that one's certainly good regardless. Last I recall I was jumping around jobs like mad to unlock new crap and forgetting to progress one role forward leaving me with a really random ass cast to make due with on hard battles lol.

I have always wanted to play one, but never knew which one to start with. The type of game play is right up my ally.

Started playing Borderlands and I need to admit I never thought I could have this much fun in a FPS that had single player mode.

The PSP remake which was recently released is very good, I'd start there.

Played Bullet Storm, got tired of that almost immediately, so I returned that. Got Mafia 2, not liking that any either.
    Starting Nier now.

That's too bad because it's far and away the best TO game there is and one of the best games to come out recently even though it is a remake of a remake.
And yes, playing the SNES and/or PS1 versions of Let Us Cling Together will be that different if you decide to go that route.

This is true, I remember trying to play the PSX version a while back, and it was just kind of unplayable. I mean, it wasn't bad, but it felt a bit... archaic, and I never really got into it, even though I knew it was an amazing game. I mean, I still kept it somewhat high in my huuuuuuuge list of games that I need to play, but the second I tried the psp version, it just blew me out of the water, and I haven't put it down since. >_>

I think there's a pretty decent PSP emulator now, if you want to try it.

There's also The Knight of Lodis on the GBA, which I think I beat. Honestly don't remember, need to dig out that cartridge some time and find out.

I never did finish Bahamut Lagoon... but I really liked that game.
I couldn't get the sub-battle theme outta my head for the longest.

it's definitely a great mix between awesome and horrible. the AI is typical SNES-era stuff (enemies that don't attack until you come close enough, and use AoE spells on one person instead of a group) and this makes the dragons fairly limited, plus the translation is awkward (the Dejap curse), but it's still fun.
