Eh... not quite sure I feel that way when they go from "Arche is Arche, she has some undeniable charm." to "...but I bet Arche fucks like a tiger."
That's really the biggest gaffe I think they made, definitely the most famous. Overall I don't felt they did too terribly but some of their choices were... questionable and certainly awkward as Yuri-G said.
These guys SUCK
Demon's Souls question;
does Pure Black World Tendency make the quality of drop items better?
I need Mercury, cloud, grey and Marrow chunks and a pure Bladestone to finish off my upgrade trophies, but I just keep getting overwhelmed with shards.
Just finished Portal 2 and Force Unleashed 2 this week, both were incredibly short (though Portal 2 was amazing). Now for a question: should I play Singularity or Borderlands GOTY next? I have both on my shelf and don't know which to go with.
Borderlands is going to be a huge time sink, fantastic game, havent played singularity.
got burned out on ff6 and portal 2 so i've been going through LOH: TITS (nice subtitle). thank god this game wasn't released with the other three loh games on psp a few years back; namco butchered the translation. in a perfect world xseed would re-release those games but i'm content with all three sora games coming over here. after this it's probably radiant historia or ys 1 and 2 (psp version). speaking of that ys collection it sucks that the original ost to the pc engine cd wasn't included.
Is Ass Creed: Bro's singleplayer long? Price dropped on it in Canadia finally (was $69, now is $39), was thinking of either picking that up, or Prince of Persia trilogy. Granted I already own the PoP trilogy on PC, but I pretty much forgotten everything about it.
Brotherhood .. I'd probably say 25hrs? Don't crucify me if I'm wrong but it's about that much if you just go pure objective, probably quite a bit lower actually. Add more on to that if you take time to explore/check out the view/have fun/side missions/100% trophies/etc etc.
I'd probably be aiming for the platinum trophy assuming the multiplayer doesn't take 10 years to grind to the level cap on. Ass Creed 2 didn't take me very long to 100% the single-player aside from farming all the feathers, which is why I asked about Brohood's duration. 20+ hours should be good though, as I intend to take my time rather than critical-pathing everything. Granted, probably better for me to tackle the multiplayer when I can while it's still active prior to the next game release.
Hmm, b-day coming up, perhaps I could just buy one, then ask for the other. Not like they're full-priced games anyways.
I need to find me a copy of Ass1 dirt cheap sometime though for PS3. I own it for PC, which runs a steady 15-20fps, but the sound skips like a mofo which kills it for me, as every NPC sounds like they have a speech impediment.
I just recently plowed through Borderlands (+DLCs) and it was... pretty fun... but playthrough 2 proved to be a bit too boring for me to continue with it. I could fuck shit up a lot easier, but my shields/health as Mordecai didn't allow me to be any more reckless at high levels so it was just boring having to be so careful while killing shit for 4exp a pop. P.S. Moxxi's Underdome and all the "Circle of ___" Missions are so fucking retarded while solo and I think trying to complete those frustrated me enough to just hang the game up.
I jammed through Portal 2 and thought it was absolutely amazing.
I set Mass Effect 1 aside as I was trying the series for the first time... I'm not finding much reason to pick it back up. I think my completionist attitude is making the game really slow as I'm avoiding the main missions to fuck around on repetitive planets/bunkers/etc for crap rewards.
I have been bored with everything I have right now (waiting on FFXIV patches that affect my rank) and so I just picked up Oblivion and I'm finally about to give that series a try now... since Skyrim just piqued my interest.
Anyone wanna recommend a good SRPG for the PSP? I've beaten Tactics, Tactic's Orge, Disgaea 1, 2, and now I'm playing Jeanne D'Arc but I'm getting bored with it and want something else.
Wild Arms XF, it's... different and some (a lot of) missions practically FORCE you to use a certain setup (though the setups are usually pretty obvious so it's not like it's trial and error, you just switch and do it) but when you get all of the classes you can customize like no other.
Oh, and it's actually somewhat challenging sometimes unlike the ones you listed there!
Buh... after a day of trying out Oblivion... not enjoying it at all. I'm all for sandboxy/open-ended/exploratory RPGness, but good lord, the combat blows anus holes and makes it not fun whatsoever. I kinda' want something Borderlands/Mass Effectish to play, as this was not cutting it for me. I'm kinda' at a loss of what to try out that's not severely out-dated in the graphics/physics departments.
Looking for a good RPG? Planescape: Torment is pretty damn awesome. Also, Morrowind is pretty epic as well.
