it's about as fun as I was expecting, which isn't really saying much considering I'm renting it from Gamefly after canceling my preorder because of the demo controls

Finally got my laptop back so I've been playing a bit of WoW. Still playing NHL 09. Hmm what else. I just started a new game in Need for Speed Underground. Been tooling around with Pride FC. Other than that I haven't really been playing anything really exciting.

Been at the GF's house for a little while so that was a lot of LBP, Mario Party 8 and Resident Evil 5.

But now that I'm back home I'm bouncing between a lot of other things
Armored Core For Answer: Loads of fun but I feel like im really sucking at the arena matches and thats killing my morale ;(
PSONE Metal Gear Solid: Not sure why im not playing this straight through, game just seems so long ugh, missing out on my other games.
Valkyria Chronicles: Hard Skirmishes until I can actually beat an expert one ;_;
Yu-Gi-Oh World Championship 2008: Quelling my thirst for fairies, relinquished and necrofears until 2009 comes out. Too bad the "new features" and crap are going to be completely garbage ugh
Flyff (fly for fun): Checking daily cause noone is selling cruiser bodies except at retarded prices...

And thats pretty much it. And yes I seriously play each one back to back (cause something dumb always makes me switch games ;_

Oh yeah, I've been playing Armored Core for Answer as well. I'm stuck on the one board where you have to fight 4 of the mini forts. I cannot get past it to save my life. Their energy blades fuck my shit up nonstop. By the time I knock out two of the forts my HP is basically gone.

That Kojima blade you get can oneshot most Arms Forts aside from the absolutely tremendous ones (The Algebra one with the unmanned drones, the flying Interior Union one with assault armor, and the GA one that shoots ludicrous amounts of missiles)

Well I'm on the mission where there are the four mini forts and the only vulnerable spot is the ventilation shaft on the top of them. Blade works on that? When I target the shaft it looks like it's on the ground so I wasn't sure if the blade would actually hit it.

Finally beat FFTactics (thanks to everyone here for making me keep going!) with Ramza + 4 generics, and did everything except Midlight's Deep and poaching as well as leveling the 4 story chars I wanted to originally (Beowulf, Orlandeau, Agrias, and Balthier) but after spending 80 hours on a handheld rpg and already grinding all that JP for my generics I didn't have the patience. I've left it in my PSP for the time being, I'll grind up the JP on my story char dream team when I take my psp places or when I have some free time.

Currently I've moved on to Kingdom Hearts RE Chain of Memories for ps2, I find the battle system to be fun but incredibly repetitive. This was my main complaint with the GBA version, which I never finished, but the high production values and 3D graphics in the remake are letting me stick with the game. It's only around 30 hours long and I'm already about 15 or so in.

My choices for next game are:
1) Skies of Arcadia
2) Valkyria Chronicles
3) Tales of Vesperia

and while I really would like to play Tales next my 360 is in my living room, and I would rather play something on my ps3/ps2/gc since it lets me be closer to my PC so I can actually look for a job, lol. So far I'm heavily leaning towards Skies, mostly because I never finished it for dreamcast and I've had the GC version sitting on my shelf for months. Other contenders for my next game (if not a 360 game) would be Dark Cloud 1, Shadow Hearts 2, Mana Khemia, or Star Ocean 3. Any input?

I wish they would make a reboot of Skies of Arcadia. It would be fantastic. But I also wish they would do a remake of the Record of Lodoss War game from Dreamcast. But I think we all know that isn't happening.

I downloaded Burnout Paradise for $20 and am having a blast. It's really damn fun, I kind of wish I bought it earlier.

Other than that I've been playing MLB 09 The Show's Road to the Show mode as a pitcher. It's surprisingly fun with all the ups and downs. The mode sucks as a position player though, imo.

okay I know no one plays Halo Wars or cares but..

I had one of my most statistically dominant 3v3 matches this weekend.

I find that it's pretty enjoyable to win in an RTS when you have no business doing so. At 7 minutes into the game, both of my teammates quit/disconnected/something--it felt like a legit angst quit, and given they were both recruits, it's possible.

Ultimately, I don't know; the point is I was fucked, or so I thought. It's 3 on 1, and while I was pushing hard on one of my 3 opponents at the time, my outlook was bleak. I did manage to finish off the Anders at around 11 minutes; this turned out to be the only somewhat competent player on the other team, and at this point, the ass-beating was imminent.

Over the next 16 or so minutes, my Prophet and a very defeatable mixture of Hunters and Jackals marched ruthlessly around the entire map of Frozen Valley, laying waste to laughable attempts at stopping the slaughtering. I cleared first the original bases of my former teammates knowing they were likely now the enemies' expansions. The remainder of their bases followed suite and up popped multi-shielded bases of my own as I knew the map was way too big to hold down with just the movement of my army.

Obviously the people I was playing were complete garbage to allow it to happen like this, but never have I won 1v3 in this game. And yeah I had the bonus reactor spawn on my side of FV, but god dammit I still shouldn't have been in it. I've had some 2v2 matches where a teammate has disconnected and I managed to finish off the job alone, but nothing like this before.

Finally had the time to finish MGS4 for the 2nd time and got the solar gun, finally, will probably start my no alert run sometime this summer with the solar gun and such. Currently I'm still in MMO withdraw and this time I'm playing LOTRO and it's actually good but I cannot make up my mind on what class I would like to main to 60 currently have a captain at 20 and I like it being a jack of all trades type of deal feels werid but the class is can keep up with itself really well. Playing Runes of Magic again since when open beta started and that free mmo has changed a lot and for the better, kinda.
