wish I owned an Action Replay. unlocking packs is a slow and painful process. At least I have a semblance of a useable deck now. I've got an oldschool 6sam (as in no legendaries) with a few other random cards to make up for other missing cards. and a gimpy, but able zombie deck.

don't worry, im not using an action replay either. i'm in the same boat you are right now im sure, beating people 3 times before I start working on the turbo dueling more. Since I got a plaguespreader and a lot of synchros, i'm using goblinless/mezukiless zombies. Might try out Steelswarm since I got that pack and most of the cards. Steelswarm are a deck based on tributing monsters easily and getting rewarded for it. So it is a lot like monarchs etc with no hope of synchroing and better monsters overall :D

Also, just got out of family game night with LA Noire. Except this time its not me playing, its my girlfriend's mother.Sound like fun? You bet it is.

So, I started my no death no leveling up run on demon's souls. Started as Royalty (soul level 1). Beat 1-1, 3-1, 4-1, no problems whatsoever. I start on 2-1. Get all the way to the elevator shortcut at the beginning of the level, miss-step and fall to my death... such a goddamn lame way to die.
2 and a half hours wasted D:

All I have to do now is beat 3-1, -2, and -3 and get my Yellow soul and then I will have platinumed Demon's Souls. Then I will concentrate on my no deathg/no level run.
As of the start of my 4th playthrough with my 1 character, 111hrs spent, 445 deaths lol. Granted maybe 40 or so of those deaths are me jumping off a cliff after not getting a Pure Bladestone

Demon's Souls;
Ugh... always the dumbest things killing me on my no death/no leveling playthrough. 1st time it was me falling at the elevator that leads to Ed in 2-1, this time it was falling off a ledge right at the boss of 5-1 (after having already beat the 1st sections of levels 1 through 4.
Time for my 3rd attempt! At least it only takes like 2.5 hours to get back up to that point.

Finished Lufia: Curse of the Sinistrals last night.

I enjoyed the original Lufia 2, but screw the haters on the DS retelling -- yeah, it might not be the best action RPG, but I enjoy certain components which they changed. The Sinistrals this time around (-especially- Daos) look fittingly villain like. While some character designs were kinda huh (Lexus looking more like Doc from Back to the Future, Maxim now being XTREME Maxim, and pink-hair Dekar), others turned out pretty well.

Plus, there's an incentive for a second playthrough.

Also, Dekar's so stupid and one dimensional in this one that it's freaking hilarious.

Oh well, time to write up on that one soon, but perhaps after I make more progress in Resonance of Fate.

Always playing SSF4 and MW2 on the AlterIW dedi servers, now I just picked up Tactics ogre on PSP and Phantasy Star Portable 2 w/ the gf, however, since I have an ISO, is it ok to play this game online or do I actually HAVE to purchase this to play online?

I love tactic RPGs, i'm only still at the beginning in chapter 1, how much better does the game get?

If you're not into it by chapter 2 you probably wont like it that much.

I've been enjoy it a lot. The job system is actually kind of limited, but it's still really fun.

Compared to FFT, the gameplay is probably a little bit weaker, but the story and world system are much superior.

Absolutely love it, Raiden meets everything. English VA is garbage but there's an option for JP which is well done.

GoW3 has one of the easier challenges. #1 was the worst of them all by far, especially with its final challenge. GoW2 platinum is a cinch btw.

I need to stop buying those HD-collection releases. I got both Tomb Raider & Prince of Persia Trilogies sitting barely touched, and I was intending to platinum them all. Definitely looking forward to Splinter Cell trilogy next month, assuming Ubisoft doesn't botch it any further than the cell-shaded visual overhaul and removal of the multiplayer functionality.

Hated Challenge 8 and 10 so much, especially the last one... would always get knocked off right near the top of the platform. Only thing I'm worried about with GoW2 Platinum is the glitched Boss Batch 3, I think that's what it is. Don't know much about GoW3 though, but I hear it's extremely easy as well.
