Hope you've been vigilant in collecting those red orbs since you need them all last I checked for the platinum.

Tried to play red faction Guerrilla in steam but when I bought the new section 8 I had to use an online windows live ID soo... my save is now lost forever in red faction. I got to play the demos for the new red faction and infamous 2 with a live psn at least.
nvm, copy/pasted saves to random name live account works. dealing with live reminds me of itunes....
Souj, can I get a quick summary of what happened in Demon's Souls that made it go from kill-me-now to addictive fun times? I chose Knight as my starting class and it's kind of fun and all, but now I'm at the point in the Nexus where I have a couple stages to choose from between the different tablets on the wall and I just die everywhere I go
I...really can't explain how or why I found it so addictive. I guess just because of the challenge and actually getting through it. Every time I would get stuck somewhere and die a billion times it would piss me off, but each time I would get just a little bit further and that was great.
I was going to try and beat the game without dying or leveling up. I picked Royalty (only class that starts at level 1). 1st attempt I beat the 1st sections of 1, 3, and 4. died falling off an elevator in 2.
2nd attempt I made it through 1st section of 1, 2, 3, and 4, but dies at the boss fight in level 5. Not by the boss, but by falling...
But then I platinumed the game and I haven't really attempted a 3rd try yet. Not sure if I'll attempt it again or not.
I kind of get that feeling, I definitely enjoy it when things are going well, I just don't feel like I'm making any real headway as far as learning how to survive consistently. Trotting along with no worries and 5 fucking wolves ambush me and my stamina's empty and that's the end of it, lol
Alan Wake is... interesting. It's like being in an abusive relationship where you get your ass kicked every few months or so but you stick around anyway because the good times are so good that you hope it'll change for the better permanently.
Seriously, the story is great. The environments are solid. Great graphics and great sound, but the combat... oh god the combat. I mean to dodge you have to stand still and then if you pull it off, you lose focus on the flashlight which is the one thing keeping your dick from getting ripped off.
Alan Wake is awesome. I didn't think it was that special when I first played it but it's definitely one of those games you keep thinking about after you're done.
Anywho I didn't have many problems with the combat myself, maybe some of the platforming parts were annoying but I thought the combat was actually pretty smooth. Alan always seemed to do what I needed him to during some of the harder combat sequences
But yeah, the story is the best part. The DLC episodes are pretty good too, btw.
Those wolves in 1-2 get everyone. Memorizing enemy layouts is part of the key to not dying in Demon's Souls.
As far as gaming for me. Got a couple gigs of LA Noire DLC downloading alongside the inFamous 2 & Duke Nukem Forever demos. Can't wait. Not been playing much lately aside from BBCS, trying to get the platinum in it.
A bow is a solution to many problems in Demon's Souls.
Snipe a single wolf and take em out 1 by 1.
Thief's Ring is also pretty useful. I usually have it equipped at all times in single player.
thanks, both of you, I appreciate the tips (atreides don't make that gay)
Enslaved ending:
Spoiler: show
now just to play thtough all the levels again because I only have chapter 14 100% lol
Naruto Ninja Storm 2 story mode is the most painful thing to do.
the fighting is fine, and the boss fights are great, it's just everything else that's a horrible experience, especially the walking.
As Naruto, walk from the village through 10 zones to the training ground. Do 1 fight.
switch to Azuma, walk from the village to the training ground, do 1 fight. Then walk from the training ground to the village. Then walk from the village to just 2 zones away from the training ground.
Switch to Naruto. walk from the training ground to the village.
switch to asuma, thank god no walking. 2 fights.
Switch to naruto, 1 fight, walk from training ground back to village.
wtf is this shit?
and jesus christ this game increased its difficulty 100fold in just 1 battle. Never came close to losing any fight so far, S ranks in everything, but all of a sudden in the Kazuka fight, i've died 4 times.
I remember spending a whole night beating that damn Kakuzu fight, I know what you mean -.- I havent played it in a month but I think that was the hardest battle so far (I got as far as finishing the Jiraiya v Pein fight)
And yes, the walking around 5000 miles on a character, only to switch and have to walk back as another character is really annoying. Husband and I do enjoy the PvP battles after a couple drinks though lol
Finished up L.A. Noire tonight. I'll go back and clean up the cases I missed 5 stars on and car hunt next week probably. Great game.
Found a copy of Skies of Arcadia Legends. The graphics look so fucking dated. Still fun, though. Also doing my second run in SoTN as Richter. What a fucking beast. Downloaded inFAMOUS and LBP from PSN earlier, so I have enough games to keep me busy for a while.
I can't play Richter because I'm never able to fight the urge to just hydro storm anything that might be even slightly threatening
Downloaded inFamous yesterday off of PSN. Really fun game so far. Some of the challenges have been pretty frustrating though lol. I'm up to the on where you have to stick a bomb on the enemy and headshot them before it explodes and I wanna kill myself lol.
Mostly just playing Elsword... ended up liking this MMO more than I thought I would.
Probably gonna start up Dead Nation tonight with a friend, looking forward to finally getting a chance to try it out.
