- Parappa, anyone who was a fan of this and wants to give me tips on nailing the timing, feel free. it's not exactly on the beat, and it feels like it has something to do with the way the words are being rapped, but it's so much harder than shit like guitar hero or EBA.

I played as a Ventrue, as that's what the little questionnaire suggested. Malkavian would be interesting I think (especially given the amount of humor in the game already), or Nosfaratu with the restrictions on movement.
Impressive game in some respects - hell of a lot more ambitious than DXHR, but the combat and clipping/hit detection are still horrible even with the unofficial patches. Still quite fun on the whole.

You need to be on custom firmware (which requires 3.55 at most, if you're above that you're SOL) to patch Vesperia. It's just a case of putting custom firmware on your PS3, playing Vesperia from the HD and replacing a single file with a patched English file. Only took a couple of minutes to get it going when I did it.

Took a short break from DFO to screw around on a D2 private server. Back to DFO after finding a creative solution to getting rid of those annoying sound effects. Still haven't played my mechanic since hitting 60, but might put some time in soon. My exorcist is hitting awakening territory so I'm already getting an early start in on victory points, quest items, and I was smart enough to hoard any items needed for ancient dungeons. On top of that, there's a new character linking feature I'm taking advantage of, so looking forward to advancing to a hyperion within the next 2 weeks. Only thing I really need to decide on is if I want to stay with full magic with rosary or hybrid with scythe after the free reset. Going to watch some pvp videos to get strategy and ideas.

glad someone (kiarax? I forget) recommended Ys Seven. it has the same ultra-fast combofest gameplay that I loved so much in Felghana, but switching characters, attack types, and the skill system makes it even better. I only just got outside the first city but loving it. awesomeness!

edit: anyone play ClaDun? thinking of trying that out, too. or maybe the sequel, since it just came out.

Started up FF13 since every time I see an update for 13-2 I feel like i'm missing out. Anyway was wondering if there's anything I should be looking out for that I cant go back and get. I know you can upgrade weapons and armor so just wondering whats recommended for who and what I should waste gil on etc.

I tried playing ClaDun 2 recently and thought it was pretty boring. The customization stuff is pretty cool, but the gameplay is just... bleh. I spent a while making characters and then never played again, lol. Lots of people seem to like it though, so maybe worth giving a shot to see if you do.

Finishing up my DS g+ @ lvl 37, the last leg is The Shrine of Storms. It's a little tough because the skeletons rush my ass and I have a crappy shield, and is as useful as a pot lid. Beating Maiden Astrea was rough, if given the option I woulda walked away ;x

Just grabbed a partially translated copy earlier today... hoping to try it out over the next few days. Playing FIFA/PES demos and Dead Island otherwise. Oh and Ys 7.

I'm playing in runes until I can't figure out what the hell to do next. There are 3 nations to choose from and you're stuck with that nation unless you delete your save(or a ng+?) I chose the Logras red nation.

thanks kiarax. I ended up trying it out (ClaDun), it's ok. basically a mix between a rogue-like and a crappy zelda clone. kinda fun though, and will be good for killing time.

I thought that Grand Knights shit looked like a Vanillaware game... I'm going to have to pick it up. hopefully the translation gets rolling pretty quickly, the patch so far looks like it makes the game just barely playable.
