There's actually kind of an affordable work-around for wireless on the 360 but depending on how comfortable you are with tinkering with shit and I'm just remembering that you're horrible at that so nevermind hey $60 isn't so bad

lol yea pretty much
I think I'm going to buy a charging station for the move for 15 bucks this week(at best buy if anyone is interested)
might not be so terrible, though, if you have a router already for your apartment you could try one of those powerline networking kits? it'd probably even out to about the same $$$ with some potentially better performance
Are there any of the Tales of... games that aren't worth playing? I've got a ton of games on my to do list and want to pare off any that aren't worth it.
short answer: yes
long answer: depends on your preferences. i.e. I love Tales of Destiny, others think it's terribad.
off the top of my head the ones that are almost universally reviled: Tempest and Legendia
the ones that seem to come highly recommended by all: Eternia, Symphonia, Vesperia, Abyss
and if you're willing to read moon runes, well that takes things to a whole new level.
I'll put Eternia, Symphonia, Abyss, and Vesperia on the list and go from there.
My gf speaks/reads JP but fuck getting her to translate for me, lol.
That's pretty accurate. Don't play Legendia, but do listen to the OST.
(Normal battle theme)
Ragnarok Hikari to Yami no Koujo[PSP]
Graces isn't too popular on these forums I don't think, but I'd recommend. I enjoyed it a lot. Definitely one of my top favorites since Abyss. It won't be coming out in the US till February(or that was the last time it was said), though.
As for the ones in English, the only ones I've beaten are Symphonia, Abyss(my favorite, so I highly recommend this one), Vesperia, and Legendia. I recommend them all except for Legendia.
I liked Phantasia though it feels incredibly stiff now compared to recent games in the series.
yeah, I feel the same about Destiny.
and if you're going to play Phantasia, PSX version is the route to go, until the PSP full voice edition is translated anyway. I have the PSX version on my PSP and it plays just fine (slightly better than Destiny to be honest).
oh yeah I forgot about that. that's still in moon runes though, right?
Finished Mass Effect 2 a couple days ago. Hoooly shit I feel like some sort of gaming heretic for not playing this sooner. I don't think I've ever played a game, finished it, immediately stood up and walked out of the house to go pre-order it's sequel.
Digital Devil Saga's ending cliffhanger was so fucking epic that I actually drove to EBgames and bought the sequel immediately. Oh was I fucking let down... DDS2 was shit compared to DDS1 aside from the improvements in the combat.
playing Shin Megami Tensei, the original. forgot how addicting this game is. also forgot how frankly it encourages devil worship (or Lucifer worship, to be more accurate) while making God look like the universe's biggest asshole. this is in addition to the whole part where the American armySpoiler: show
yeah, I can see why this game had trouble making it stateside back in the 90's.
Still playing Stella Deus for the PS2. Still getting angry at how retardedly difficult some of the missions are. Other than that playing FFXI. But I got Deus Ex the Human Conspiracy in the mail today so I'm thinking Stella Deus might be on the shelf for a while.
