PC version of Last Remnant saw only one at the gamestop here when I went to pre order Infamous and thought I'd go ahead and buy it anyway. Hopefully I won't get my ass handed to me by gates this time because this feels so much better than on the 360.

The end of the UFC 2009 Demo said release date of the 14th May, was going to pick it up after work today but everywhere online says it's still another week

Guess i'll have another weekend of Killzone 2 and working my way through the optional dungeon on Eternal Sonata...

Pretty sure UFC is released on the 22nd. I remember reading it somewhere. I've started playing Infinite Undiscovery recently. I'm trying to play through the games I bought and have left sitting on the shelf for months at a time. IU is the first one up. Combat system is essentially a poorly cloned version of Dynasty Warriors imo. But the story is moderately interesting. So we'll see.

You should grind those games in a row. You are in for a treat, MGS3 and MGS4 are far superior to MGS2. My favs go MGS1, MGS3, MGS4, MGS2. MGS4 is amazing and should rightfully be above MGS3 on my list...but for some reason the ending alone to part three sets it apart from anything else.

Went to gamestop with $30 in my pocket, planning on getting a used game. Walked out with Valkyrie Chronicles and The Orange Box for $10. That's $10 all together, $5 each. I'm walking on clouds right now. I really don't know how that price came up but I wasn't about to question it.

    Nice find on VC o.o

MGS3 though.....I dont know if the learning curve is that steep or if i just suck or maybe i chose the wrong difficulty, but the game is incredibly frustrating to me >.>. I couldnt get through the intro without restarting 4 times because I hate getting caught in the first 10 minutes of the game slike some kind of idiot. But in any case, going to play it right now in between FoVs on Ninja

The game play is a bit different then the others. With all MGS games I have always just put my first play through on easy so I could enjoy the story more then the gameplay.

After I beat FFTactics and Skies of Arcadia: Legends I couldn't really pick a game to play between a bunch of GC and PS2 games. I was leaning towards Star Ocean 360, and even though I have Tales of Vesperia sitting here unopened I decided to go with Tales of Symphonia.

Symphonia is actually my first ever Tales game, I'm liking it a lot pretty far but I kinda feel like it's a little linear compared to other JRPGs. The story/characters are the best part, to a lesser extent combat, I just wish I had a bit more idea of how I was supposed to be building my chars with ex gems and the like. Anyway, pretty fun so far.

Just finished Fable II. Sorely disappointed, it reminded me of all the reasons I disliked the first Fable. I remember getting a magazine, GameInformer maybe, when Fable was first announced and there was this huge article talking about how interactive and expanding it would be and it eventually sucked in comparison of the hype from the magazine, and unfortunately, this felt like more of the same, really, which I honestly didn't expect. Shitty ending, too. Seriously, that was it? Come on. Decent achievement fodder though I guess, since I got around 700+ just playing through the story casually.

Not sure what's to come in Gamefly next, but I think I might start another play through of Mass Effect... such a good game. Although I really need to play Lost Odyssey, Mass Effect is just damn good.

Just got through the Wolverine: Origins game.

I am very surprised, was expecting a typical movie tie-in and actually got a pretty good game instead. Lots of fun, dismembering enemies never gets old and the game's story seems to be a mix of the movie and the comics. Skydiving at (as well as into and through) a sentinel was awesome.

Wish the movie had gone the same route as the game with plot, would have been awesome.

The Gibberlings Three and Baldur's Gate II: Westley Weimer's Mods are the biggest I think but there's tons of others about.

Some clever chaps even made a mod to let you import BG1 into BG2 so you can use the improved BG2 engine and enjoy one huge ass run-through of all the games and expansions.

Then there's custom NPCs a plenty and tons of new scenarios floating about on the interwebs, not to mention the other Infinity Engine games like Icewind Dale and Planescape Torment. (Which they're also trying to port into BG2 engine).

Best of all they're all old so any new machine can run them no worries.
Playing BG while waiting for D2 to come in the mail. Even without all the incredible mods, this game was obviously ahead of it's time and should be a requirement for anyone who plays RPGs. I'm not feeling the whole alignment system, (chaotic neutral ftw) but it adds more depth to an already deep game. Minsc has to be my favorite character so far, his battle cries while commanding his pet "Giant Space Hamster" had me rolling for hours.

Finished Suikoden V. The story was so awesome. I loved it. Decided I'd go through the series again (just bought III since I never played it, but think I'll skip IV since I've heard bad reviews about it).

Suikoden 1 is so ghetto. Felt like an 8-bit game. There was next to no character development and dialog was really shallow ("Argh ya beat me!" "Join me?" "Okay!"). Took me 3 days to play through a "perfect game." I can't really think of anything to compare it to in 1995... but aside from the "3D" battlefields, I swear it looks like it could have been a Genesis game. Music was great, though. It sounds better than a lot of recent games I've played.

So, now I'm on Suikoden II. I haven't played it in about 10 years and don't remember anything about it. I'm only about 4 hours in, but so far it's leaps and bounds above the original. Feels a lot more polished than the first one (and V is remarkably similar), even though the translation is pretty shitty in spots. Hope it lasts longer than a few days, though....

Jump on my sword while you can evil, I won't be as gentle! Minsc was awesome. I've been playing Indigo Prophecy the last two days. I had forgotten how absolutely shitacular the controls are. But god damn that story is amazing. Fantastic game.

Been burning through Resident Evil 5 lately, unlocking all the characters in The Mercenaries minigame and capping out weapons. Going to town on hordes of majini with nothing but a can o' first aid, a few flash grenades, and the bow and arrow hasn't lost its novelty yet.
