Just feels like it'd be cheaper to buy the PS3 version than to buy the DLC for my PC copy, which shows the sad state of affairs when it comes to DLC pricing schemes imo. At least ME2 should feel comfier with a controller given how they butchered what I liked about ME1 on the PC vs. the sequel.

Shame I'll have to start a new Shepard from scratch. Something for me to keep in mind anyhow since I got a bit of a backlog currently.
Zaeed and the Normandy Crash Site were part of the Cerberus Network content. (This is tied to a code with the PS3 version, so be careful if you buy it used.)
Stolen Memory, Lair of the Shadow Broker and Overlord were all separate DLCs packed in with the PS3 version. (These are unlocked for PS3 regardless.)
Arrival is a separate DLC added later.

'aight, thanks for the clarification. Will grab it next time I'm needing a fix.......and hopefully before ME3.

Also just wasted the last four hours finishing off Sonic Unleashed. I want to meet whoever designed 'Eggman Land' stage and throttle him with my bare hands. There's something wrong with the design of your level if you have to introduce a 1-up after every single fucking checkpoint (that respawns when you die) just so people can complete it.
    Spoiler: show
And I'll be skipping out on getting the platinum trophy cause I'm not going to bother spending hours trying to beat that entire stage without dying once.

I guess this would be a good time to get back into Dead Space 2. Been long enough since my old PS3 died (along with my 6hrs of progress) that I've forgotten everything, so I should be able to enjoy it.......even though it's now $40 less than what I paid for it. EA/Ubi are getting way too trigger happy with dropping the price on their games, almost no reason for me to buy fullprice from them these days when it'll be $19/29/39 within at minimum three months.

I think I ran Eggman Land 100+ times in order before finally beating it in one life. Muscle memory ftw.

Finish leveling my priest in wow (64), play acreed: brotherhood (1hour in), start batman arkham asylum (still in cellophane on my desk), or play BF3 alone?

I finished Acreed2 the other day and the ending was meh, while brotherhood seems snappier and better control-wise I'm not sure I can do the repetitiveness again. I'll probably pick up revelations when it hits for PC either way though.

Also there is a hidden choice of buying skyrim, having not played other elder scrolls, but I still put a lot of time in on wow. Skyrim also requires leaving the house to go buy it at gamestop since I'd want a hard copy.

    this is all PC btw.

You can jump into Skyrim without playing the others, but playing the others definitely adds to the experience. Morrowind and Oblivion should both be dirt cheap these days, the only issue is setting aside enough time to play them since they're all massive.

Platinum'd Disgaea 3. Testing the waters with Ar Tonelico Qoga now. Still deciding between that Hyperdimension Neptunia, Resonance of Fate, Nier, and Star Ocean the Last Hope as my next game. SO will probably be an on and off thing anyways.

Qoga and tLH are probably the best out of that listing. Resonance isn't bad but the game gets crazy easy once you figure out how to manipulate the combat system. HDN isn't terrible either, but it has some detracting issues. Nier I really know nothing about, so I suppose it could be the best of the bunch.

Qoga is an odd but well constructed game though. My biggest issue with it was the whole "shake controller to explode clothes" thing, and the fact that it still felt really odd/tacked on even when they tried to explain it through the story.

I'd probably wait to play skyrim until you're ready to devote 100+ hours to it, if you're the kind of person that likes to see/do everything. AC: Brotherhood and Batman AC are pretty big games too, so I'd probably finish those one at a time until I got my backlog cleared enough to make room for skyrim. Chances are it'll go on sale this holiday season, somewhere.

    Also seconding Nier

Really? I had only glanced at reviews and never heard much talk about it, so I guess I just kind of overlooked it. Maybe I'll look into picking it up if it's that good.

NIER is greater than the sum of its parts, so don't let its first impressions put you down.

Thanks for the opinions. Qoga is pretty fun so far but I'll start with Nier first, you've all convinced me. I'll be sure to go into it expecting God of War meets Kingdom Hearts gameplay+ and a superb plot, then report back with my thoughts on the game.

Nier is one of the best RPGs this gen imo just for story/music alone. One of the best in both in my opinion. Gameplay is pretty average hack n slash and the sidequests are terribly grindy, but there's no obligation to do them unless you're a achievement/trophy whore. Only "downside" to the game I'd say is you have to play through it multiple times to get the most out of the story, since you get way more info on New Game+.

I'll put in a vote for Resonance of Fate. I just got bored of Qoga and put it down after awhile. It's not a bad game, but it feels like something of a downgrade after AT2.

RoF is worth it just to listen to the witty banter between the characters during combat. Plus, Christmas level, is all I have to say.

Man, I'm like.. a few hours into Nier and kind of lost interest due to the production values. Going to pick it up again after reading all your praise about it. Was looking for another game to plat

I'll also throw in for Nier. Such a great story and music. Now I kind of want to replay for the C and D endings, heh.

On Nier: Having fun so far, but holy fuck this fishing game is the most ill-contrived aspect of an action rpg I've ever experienced lol...I have no idea what I'm doing wrong or is this the hardest part of the game or some shit. I like the gameplay, vulgar characters etc. The low quality feel (similar to Demon's Souls) isn't that big of a deal since the fighting is cool; rest has been great so far.

e: oh I see, not supposed to fish on the wharf yet x_x

the in game fishing instructions don't tell you how to fish AT ALL. they tell you to do it all wrong. youtube up a tutorial on how to really fish and it'll be MUCH easier. actually, I'll do it for you. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tkc1GaCaCDQ
