Voting Lost Odyssey on story and score alone, battle system didn't bother me enough to stop. Haven't played Tales, though.

Gamestop had that 50% off GC games sale Thursday. Bought Tales of Symphonia, Mario Sunshine, Starfox Assault, and Final Fantasy: CC. Symphonia got a disc read error like through the first 30 mins. Not another copy for miiiles D:
Mario Sunshine is surprisingly entertaining.
Also bought that Robotech game for $1.34 lol
Vesperia is basically the best game ever get on that shit man.
Too many fucking games, man. Just bought a PSP, too, never going to dig myself out of this hole. Will definitely queue it up behind Dark Souls, though.
Damn, all of my local EB Games stopped carrying GC games this past year. Kinda sucks as I've been wanting to get my own copy of Sunshine, and also play around with Assault.
Same for Eternal Darkness, but that'll never be in stock. Can't believe I didn't pick that up for $19 way the fuck back from the pawn shop. Worth so much on eBay even for used.
Bought Tales of the Abyss today, tried to get Vesperia too, but they didn't have any. What should I expect from it early on?
Luke being an annoying cunt.
And Jade being awesome.
Sidenote, what is your avatar from, some type of DBZ parody comic?
Awesome game that gets even awesomer as you proceed through the awesome game.
But really, what Kiara said. Don't worry, though. You're supposed to feel that way. I would recommend playing on Hard or higher if you don't do that already. You get something awesome after 200ish battles on Hard and it can get pretty easy on Normal.
ended up ignoring all of you and playing Brave Story and Loco Roco 2 on my trip
Loco Roco is the shit. weird to control and I doubt I'll finish it 100% but definitely fun, and cuter than a kitten and a puppy having a baby.
Brave Story is... ok. nothing amazing, but not bad for a JRPG. it does have plenty of style, and the graphics are nice, if a bit bloomtastic.
Strangely enough I only just got around to playing Brave Story myself. Got sidetracked by Lord of Apocalypse and UMvC3 though so I'll probably never finish it now, was pretty enjoyable from what I did play though, even if it didn't do anything special.
PSP HOT LIST, GET AT ME
I think I have crisis core written down so far
Brave Story felt too "My first RPG!" for my likes, got tired of it after a couple hours. Looked good for a PSP game though, visually clean and appealing.
On the subject of RPGs, picked up a D&D game pack in retail that includes every Black Isle RPG made on the infinity engine, so I've been spending some quality time with Planescape Torment. The mood of the game is so deliciously dark and screwed up, I'm loving nearly every NPC conversation.
Also Morte.

Been so long since I played one of these games, I forgot how much like an offline MMO these titles were.
I eventually got stuck/annoyed with Planescape but it's definitely fantastic. Morte is the shit.
Other than reaplaying TF2/Killing Floor, and a few other things, picked up the following games.
Super Mario 3D Land -Currently on the 5th world. Pretty fun game, though a bit disappointed the only power ups (Excluding Mushroom/Starman) are the Fire Flower and Racoon Suit.
Jamestown - Pretty fun, but annoying how I have to replay through all the levels on a higher difficulty to unlock the next. And the Xbox controller only shit isn't fun either. Why do most game developers seem to be lazy with button mapping options to allow most gamepads?
Gary's Mod - Not too bad, but need to find some tutorials.
Also tried Spiral Knights again, but dear lord that game is the prime example of what not to do for a F2P MMO.
If you're asking for games..PSP HOT LIST, GET AT ME
Ys: Oath in Felghana / Ys Seven
Spectral Souls (if you can get an ISO that cuts out the bullshit loading time)
Star Ocean 1
Hexyz Force
Persona 3 Portable (if you ignored the console one)
Anyway on my end.. finally finished KH2 a few weeks back and now I hate the series slightly less once again. I'll say that while I disliked 358/2 Days and disliked the idiocy of the mains in BBS, playing those two made me make more sense of 2's story. I also see WHY people are so pissy about 3 taking so long, given how 2 ends.
Also finished Ar Tonelico 3. Kind of underwhelming after how awesome 2 was, bugs be damned.
Probably going to start working seriously on Eternal Sonata. Messed around with the Last Remnant (finally) a bit ago (after the annoyance of getting it to work on my new lapotp.. should just stick to my desktop, but more tempting to output it to my giant TV from there).
