I'm tempted to get it in time, how do you like it?
"Go for the eye's Boo, go for the eyes!"
"Butt kicking for goodness!"
"Squeaky wheel get's the kick!"
I just don't like how he's different classes in different expansions. He's epic as a ranger, but his strength bonus makes him the ideal fighter. There's probably a mod out there to fix that, but I'm still new.
Just picked up Yugioh World Championship 2009 and it seems pretty silly. Would have preferred not EVERYTHING being in the DS's crappy 3d but whatever. A duel's a duel amirite?
Sims 3 >_<)b
more Prophet/Frozen Valley sodomy
1st: 20,606 (which capped at 4000 base points 15-20min before game's end; final mod was ~5x)
2v3 here, only one guy quit--this was the first time I've seen the new points-per-match cap come into play
I think Rank 4 Veterancy isn't currently attainable; anyone seen this before? If 75 minutes of 1 Prophet (and killing 200+ units with him alone) doesn't get it, I think it's gotta be capped at Rank 3, even though you can see a 4th Rank on their site.
S4 League, and replaying Tales of Vesperia when not on FFXI.
Alright, beat Metal Gear Solid 3. Kinda funny that in the beginning to so wanted to skip this game and go straight to 4, it was jsut incredibly frustrating lol. But once I got into the system and the story picked up it turned out really great.
So now my current games are MGS4, Ragnarok Online, Yugioh World Championship 2009 and logging in and out of ffxi appropriately lol
How did you like the ending? It solidfied The Boss as one of my favorite characters of all time.
Have you played PO? It's set right after MGS3 and the story is canon. Fairly fun and nice to get some background on Null.
Edit: Glad you finished it. MGS3 is one of the more important ones to fully understand MGS4 and get the most out of it. If anything I'd actually recommend playing through it more then once. Can't think of much from PO that is important to it.
Team Fortress 2 until my eyes bleed.
Forgot how addictive and fun this game was. Just wish I wasn't a Crit magnet.
UFC Undisputed, Wow, Infamous.
Portable Ops, the MGS on the PSP.
(get the non "Plus" edition as it doesn't have the story elements)
Lately, been playing Resistance2 (scored it new for $29), Cramp Hero DS (er, Guitar Hero DS), and lots and lots of Team Fortress2 with a little Mass Effect (PC) on the side.
let's see...
taking a repreive from Persona 4. I'm at the boy's dungeon, the one that's like a videogame, and I just haven't felt like grinding lately. I have months at a time where it's all I want to do and periods like this where I can't be bothered. I'll come back to it one day when I'm bored enough. but I kinda have to grind right now, I have less than 5k yen. d'oh.
also taking a break from Fire Emblem 6. the chapter with Douglas is a bitch. keeping him alive is kinda hard without losing a character when he's dedicated to killing you and will chase your guys all over the map relentlessly. fucker. and I can't just let him die like I did with Garret and Hugh because you need him to get the best ending. fuck.
currently playing Tales of Destiny II (US). I'm liking it 100x more than the first time around after realizing I could turn the voices off. it has one of the best battle systems in the series and is a blast on hard mode. I also love the spell system (though I hate the terminology - craymels? fringing? who wrote this, a second-grade fantasy nerd?) I just reached Luishka, in case anyone cares.
also playing through Mega Man Battle Network. I can't decide if this game is horrible or awesome. bit of both really. I read they fixed the 10-chip trader for future games in the series, so I think I'll just finish this one and leave it at that.
For Battle Network games, 1 is definately not as good as some of the others, but its definately not as bad either. Most people hail 3 as the best, but I find 3 to be one of the worst (maybe only better than 4). 2 is the best with 5 and 6 not far behind, to me. Most people tend to agree with this, except they stack 3 above 2. 2 really refined the battle, yet it still kept the extremely good Add ability and was the best of the style system (3 added 3 more styles, although I found none of them to be particularly fun or useful). 5 is great for the mission like story sequences where you can control other Navis, and 6 is also good for (in my opinion) perfecting the Soul system.
Right now I'm playing Final Fantasy Tactics: War of the Lions. Chapter 4 right now. I passed on the PSX version a long time ago cause I couldn't get into it, I still needed to drudge through the first chapter here too, but once you get past it, the game has you hooked like hell.
Chrono Trigger...for the first time!
