I picked me up some NBA Jam & Crysis couple days ago for my PS3. Fucking loving me some Jam, and been enjoying Crysis on delta difficulty, which I could never do on my PC since the game runs like complete ass on my ancient rig regardless of settings.

Trying to pick my way through Fallout 3 in between all the fighting games...anyone know if I can use my save file from normal Fallout 3 on the GOTY edition? I feel like it's going to take me forever to finish so I'd like to just buy it, but gamefly doesn't have enough copies for me to keep the one I currently have.

yeah, capcom sucks when it comes to mega man. :/ MML3 being a great example...

Playing War of the lions, was really sour about the slowdown but I'm over it, I've played the shit nonstop for hours almost every night lately. A friend disliked the ye olde translation change so much he returned it, but I'm not mad one bit, after reading ASOIAF I'm liking it a lot.

That surprises me. I consider its script extremely good and loved most of the cutscenes because of the poetic and evocative use of imagery and language.

I get the complaint, looking at the script aside from specific inaccurate mistranslations it works well as is and in some instances the new doesn't sound exactly as cool, specifically here, but the point being made is also more accurate, so it seems worthwhile: http://dekaja.dreamwidth.org/1675.html

The original being punchier and more bad-ass, as the person who collected it comments, but the intent of what he's saying becomes a lot more clear. What's the style that it's in anyway?

How bad is the slowdown? Are we talking minorly annoying, or Spectral Souls loading time bad?

We're talking 50% slowdown on EVERY SINGLE ATTACK/SPELL in the game. It still boggles my mind how they achieved that state as it's perfectly consistent.

It broke the game for me personally as I already felt FFT was a bit slow paced......, and then even more-so after I sunk a couple hundred hours onto the PSP Disgaea ports.

Replaying the Suikoden series going for 108 stars on every game. Disappointed there wont be any more games coming out from this great series.

I'm not a linguist as such but I would call it very Shakespearean stylistically. I find the second phrase a lot punchier too, but it's probably because I like more eloquent language like that.

I can't really sugarcoat that it doesn't suck, but from the little I played of Spectral Souls, I wouldn't compare them. All I can say is I was annoyed for the first 15 minutes and then fell into "I'M PLAYING FFT" mode and it wasn't even a thing at that point.

Man, I still need to get around to playing inFAMOUS 2, it's been sitting on my shelf since I got a second PS3. My backlog just keeps getting bigger and it keeps getting skiped over. Working on Nier and Saints Row 3 right now.

Added DDR & Child of Eden to my list. I need to stop picking up games I see for dirt-cheap while out grocery shopping.

Child of Eden is fucking bananas in 3-D. Problem is that the game sucks on controller, and I can't find my PS Eye webcam stand to use my PS Move with. Hard to keep up with the onscreen targets when your cursor doesn't move that fast.

I think Agarest War has saved data that carries over to Zero.

I was thinking of going through Argarest War first before zero because most prequel games has subtle hints and shit from the first game. Only finished the tutorial part of zero anyways.

Also is the True end route for these games a bitch to do?

Rayman Origins is so gewd. I'm not really sure what those medals do though. If it results in some lame achievement all interest is gone. At least there's elektoons to catch.

Haven't finished either, but to my understanding:

True Route in Agarest 1: Pain in the ass (part of why I didn't really get into it as much yet)

True Route in 2: Not so bad.
