Turned on my PS3 and was greeted by a Starhawk Beta automatic download. Tried to play it, got a message to renew my subscription. Move over to the PS Store and its under maintenance.

Should be done around 9pm PST if their blog note is accurate (better be since it's a 13hr maint). And Starhawk is fucking awesome once you get a grip as to wtf you can do, since there's no tutorial in it yet.

decided to finish up normal mode on Castlevania: PoR on my Cyclo so I can open up hard mode with level caps. I think PoR hard mode level 1 cap is my favorite Castlevania experience, period... which I've probably said before, lol.

I think the best part is how Charlotte goes from being semi-useless in normal mode to completely invaluable on a level 1 cap hard mode game.

Dustforce is awesome but the controls are taking some time to getting used to. It feels like there's this veeery small input delay when jumping and it's messing with me. It also feels like the game is very unforgivable if you time your actions wrong (doesn't go off etc.). But it was easily worth 8e.

From what I've seen of Giant Bomb playing it for an hour, it's pretty bad.....



As for me, picked up DJ Hero 1 after seeing a single copy in the bargain bin. Unable to determine if I like this soundtrack better than #2's or not. They're both fucking fantastic either way though.

Started playing .hack//G.U. Rebirth, I have a question though and didn't really want to make a new thread.

So my old fat ps3 is having trouble ejecting dics, I'm not sure what the problem is but if I don't use my ps3 for awhile I have to use a cotton swab or something small to try and get the eject to spit out the disc. Is there a way I can fix this? I'll probably buy a slim sometime soon but I wanted to keep this old one for a back up to play my old PS2 games but I don't want a game getting stuck in there.

Just finished playing through Heavy Rain. I regret not playing this sooner, it was an awesome experience. Many times throughout the game I was drawn into what was happening

Oh god I'm so angry right now. Decided to dust off Star Ocean 4 Int. because I never finished it, completed the game and went down the first extra dungeon and decided to grind before Gabriel. Synthed exp weapons and went down 7stars to find Metal Scumbags and started the fun. I think I was there for like an 1hr+ getting all my characters to @200 when the game froze I hate situations like that because it's hard for me to go back playing after such rage-inducing stuff happens ; ;

Well frack you for making me feel even worse I want to get that stuff over with because of SO sentiment, but there's so way I'm doing battle trophies or multiple plays, ugh (I seriously had an urge to slap my screen when watching the ending, that stuff was so bad ; .

Just do what I did and make up your own story and dialogue. Much more fun that way. And when all is said and done, you got that endgame shit do to (which is awesome and fun).

That fight was dicks in my Charlotte solo and I wasn't even level 1 (though I had avoided grindan as much as possible). As for me... not really playing much right now but waiting for the C9 beta to start and Tales of the Heroes: Twin Brave to come out. Demo came out yesterday and it's pretty fun, should be fun to kill some time in when full game comes out.

It's also one of the few games I've seen where you can specifically turn off the voices for each character (at least for the fights)
