That's why you play the undubbed version!

You know it's odd, but I never considered that SO2 had Japanese voices lol. I need to look this up.
I dunno, NA Dias sounded pretty ballin.
Yeah, Dias was about the only voice actor in the game that wasn't too bad. Celine didn't seem that bad, either.
But some of those lines? "TEAR INTO PIECES" sounded like "PEAR INTO PEACHES"
..Yet it didn't stop me from playing the hell out of it. I don't know. ARF VA is bad but.. I don't know how to explain it. It's not so much the VA's are bad so much as they're..overshooting it a bit? Cecille tries a bit TOO hard to be girly. Niko sounds a bit TOO incompetent. Ryfia sounds a bit TOO naive. Weiss sounds -too- villainous. Other people like L'arc, Rastan, and Alf weren't too terrible.
Though honestly, the Japanese voices weren't that stellar.
FF XIII-2... Praying they did something right this time.
Have about 5 quests left to plat Skyrim, then I'll fire up FFXIII-2. I also need to check on my ME2 saves and refine things for ME3.
I dunno, I liked Rastan's voice better in English. Serge wasn't too terrible. Nor was..Freya, I think?
Yes you do. That was one of the few games where the boss fights constantly had me on the edge of my seat.
Oh damn, I had forgotten about ARF. I actually have played through most of that. I'm in the final dungeon and something kept crashing me so I set it aside for a while and just haven't gotten around to finishing it. I'll probably have to re-learn how to play while dicking around there, but that's no biggie. It's a fun game. I never really had much of an issue with the VA but I know my standards for English VAs are really, really low.
Thanks for the other tips! I loved SO3, and I think I've played the first one a while ago but I didn't know the second one was out on the wii. I'll definitely be looking those up.
If you have a PSP there's an improved version of SO1 and SO2 on it. The games are still ass though. I don't give a fuck about your nostalgia these games have aged horribly.
Fuck that, I enjoyed the heck out of SO: FD.
Aged awesomely.
Especially after I got Erys (best character ever, I believe I actually changed my BG sigatar to pics of her while I was playing it)
Eh, I still think SO2 is fun as hell.
Now, the original SO on SNES, that has aged pretty badly.
Fuck, I actually feel like playing SO2 now. Bowman Chisato Opera <3
Etrian Odyssey 3
I haven't finished one of these games yet, and probably never will, but damn are they addicting.
POISON POISON POISON POISON POISON POISON PILLS
<3
There was something so satisfying about spamming the shit out of poison/explosion pills, 10kvolts/teargas, alpha on one, and star sprayed cles..er, claude :D
Too bad there's no place for Ernest (I think I used him once and never again) in that team. Pills, tasers and whips sounds much kinkier.
Having beat Metroid, im not sure if I should play Twin Snakes, Infamous, or Uncharted now.
inFamous if you can. Game isnt that pretty (jaggies and pop-in fucking everywhere), and it takes awhile before you can maneuver around quicker, but god fucking damn was it a fun game after the 3hr mark when you're geared up a little better.
I'm still grinding % completion in RDR here. Almost done the challenges (fuck those), then off to the small crap.
Also reloaded my FFXIII save to finish the story and possibly platinum by the time XIII-2 drops in price so I can check that out. I cannot tell if I'm underlvl'd in the game, or there are just a lot of battles near the end of the game that were intended for you to run by, cause it's about a 50/50 chance I complete it (usually with 5* rank), or hit the game over screen.
Finally got my kill to death ratio in Black Ops up to 2.0 tonight. I'm quite happy about this.
Beat Borderlands last night. Game's story kind of fell apart after reaching New Haven, but still one hell of a fun game.
Now to do the DLC with a friend.
