Anyone got a Do's-and-Dont's guide for WKC2? Picked it up today, am going to do the story of WKC1 first before anything else, but i don't want to end up speccing into something useless.

WKC2 topic has a lot of that stuff in there. Ask or go back a few pages and you'll find some good advice.
All I can say make sure someone specialises as a mage, which is staff/elemental (or play one yourself), they're stupid strong. Bow/Healing is also a good combo, less so with the patches and stuff. Abuse skill reset until you're level 35 (you can't do it afterwards unless you rebirth) and find out what skills you can get and the best way to get them while ignoring useless skills. Axe/LS are the best for dealing damage, though spear and sword have come up a bit but I don't really know the specifics of the rest of the weapons.
I think I'll check out Y's Seven. Thanks for the suggestions~
You owe it to yourself to play Ys Seven, Oath in Felghana and Ys Origin (both storylines).
I'm playing Star Wars: The Old Republic. Shit is so cash.
After hours on the ME3 demo I need to replay 1 so I can get back into the series. Getting ready to start it up in a couple of minutes... wish me luck lol
Finally started ME2. At first I was a little upset about the thermal clips as opposed to weapons just overheating. About an hour in and I don't mind at all now. I love the fact that my squad members aren't completely brain dead like they were in ME1 and customizing the look of my armor is pretty cool. The little things so far have me hooked.
I think it's a Metroid Prime marathon weekend... not sure which one, though.
- Prime, my favorite. but I've played it so many times.
- Prime 2, still love it. might pick this one.
- Prime 3... honestly, I got a couple hours in and didn't dig it. seemed much less atmospheric and exploration-heavy than the previous two, which was what I loved about them. way too much focus on story as well. does it get better?
It's been awhile, but I thought Prime 3 was pretty bad ass. I think it did start slow, though. The final fight is also pretty cool.
Prime 3 starts off fairly narrative heavy. It's only until 40% into the game does it start letting off and letting you start figuring things out on your own pace.
I'm probably one of the few folks I know that thoroughly enjoyed Prime 2. Loved the dark world setting, although I wish it was quicker to kill you off outside of the light bubbles to to further exasperate the feeling of you not being welcome there.
yeah, dark world in Prime 2 is a cool concept but not nearly as dangerous as it should be. although I think there was a boss battle where you had to keep throwing up light barriers, if I remember correctly? that was cool.
hmm I might skip Prime 3 for now... I'm not in the mood to deal with all the narrative stuff and the slow pacing. I'm sure it's an awesome game, I'll get to it eventually.
maybe I'll see if my local Gamestop has the trilogy pack... aaaaaand $70, nevermind lol
The Cursed Crusade - I love this game right now. It kind of is mediocre, but I'm enjoying it.
No More Heroes: Hero's Paradise - Kept forgetting to buy the wii version so why not. Thinking of picking up 2 on the wii sometime later after beating this.
Majin and the Forsaken Kingdom - Another mediocre game that has some fun with it.
Crackdown 2 - Been meaning to get this for a long time now. But why freaks/zombies? Skills for kills, not mindless kills for fun.
I got it for $5 on amazon.
Still playing WKC2, still enjoying it beyond it's wut-worthy story and its flaws. I really like the large outdoor locations in the WKC1 campaign I'm doing currently. Taking my sweet time getting from point A to B killing everything in the way. Still feels like a mix of FFXII and an offline-FFXI to me in the handling respect. Just wish they ripped off XII's gambit system while they were at it. Also wish there was a means of switching party leaders mid-combat, I tend to use my avatar so I never keep Leonard up to date on gear and his combat bar, so boss fights are rough inbetween transformations since I'm forced to play as him.
Also tried playing some Skyward Sword, and immediately remembered my nunchuks do not want to keep a clean connection, and then proceeded to shut the Wii off. Unplayable shit when I spend more time in the nunchuk-disconnected screen than I do combat. Can't be arsed to pony up $25 for a fourth nunchuk when I've still yet to figure out why my existing three (one of which that was barely used) all decided to suffer from that connection issue three years ago. Opened them all up and cleaned them out to no avail either, same for the remotes. Hope to have that resolved before Xenoblade and Last Story come out.
Am also still grinding FFXIII on the side. Bearable when I got a couple podcasts lined up since it's easy to mindlessly farm while listening to something of interest. But shit, 75hrs of playtime, and I've still yet to tier-3 a single weapon or get the OP accessories figured out.
Just started up God of War 3, finally... hoping for a Plat but man, I suck at this game or Titan diff is hard lol. Poseidon killed me so many times it recommended me to play on easy x.x
Been playing Yakuza 4 the last few days after having it sit on the shelf for a while. Finally got to Kazuma Kiryu's part of the story and going through the other three new characters' stories. Story doesn't seem to be as strong as the prior three releases, but still very enjoyable. It shocks me that more people don't give this series a try. Some of the best storytelling I've ever seen in a game.
Just one more dungeon and I'll be done with these TERRIBLE FUCKING DUNGEONS.
Valkyrie Profile is an awesome fucking game, but these dungeons are just fucking shit.
Quick question for anyone who has played:
I got all the requirements for the A ending, and I know once I go to a certain spot, it will start basically the point of no return chain of events. My question is: Are these events incredibly different from the B ending? I assume for the B ending I would just end the chapter as normal, get called up by Freya, and then stuff happens? I assume there's probably a dungeon or two + final boss. Is the path from A ending --> end completely different from that? (I guess I'm mainly curious if I should bother making an extra save so I can see/experience the B ending if it's incredibly different)
I have honestly never seen the A ending so I couldn't tell ya. Didn't even know how to get it, then I looked it up one day and just went... 'nope'.
Metal Gear Solid HD collection. More so MGS3. <3 The Boss, you will always live on in my memory!
